Böse Zungen mögen unterstellen, es sei pure Geltungssucht – doch es gibt sehr gute Gründe dafür, warum Joachim von www.stromstock.de diesmal aus seinem U-Boot sendet, während Tobi von www.appgemeinde.de aus dem Chemnitzer Studio funkt. Um den Hörerinnen und Hörern weiterhin nur das Beste bieten zu können, hat Tobi keine Kosten gescheut, einen Kredit aufgenommen und sich das neue iPad Air ins Haus geholt. Flitzig-schnell und fluffig-leicht wie es ist – die restlose Begeisterung sprüht leider nicht aus dem AppGemeinde-Chef. Erwartet das Luxus-Luder einfach zu viel von Apple? Joachim hat sich indes Star Wars: Tiny Death Star angesehen. Wie zu erwarten, handelt es sich dabei mehr als minder um einen Aufguss von Tiny Tower, die Zeitverschwendung mit dem Freemium-Titel macht aber trotzdem Spaß. Doch Vorsicht! Gefährdete Naturen können der Sucht anheimfallen, wenn Sie nicht Lemmy sind. Schlimmer noch als die Suchthölle ist die Zombie-Apokalypse, in die sich die beiden App-Kings mit dem ebenfalls kostenlosen Dead Trigger 2 begeben. Entgegen dem langweiligen Vorgänger steht im zweiten Teil deutlich mehr Abwechslung auf dem Speiseplan, eine empfehlenswerte Schießbude. Die Herren bleiben beim Zombie Thema, aber steigen auf in den Weltraum: Denn auch bei Dead Effect sind die Untoten los, allerdings auf einer Raumstation. Dead Space mit Macken. Zurück auf der Erde geht es um kalte Logik. Paint it Back basiert auf Picross - von dem Tobi in Ermangelung an Nintendo-Erfahrung noch nie etwas gehört hat – und stiehlt den beiden Herren zahlreiche Stunden Lebenszeit. Bei dem DoubleFine-Rolli Costume Quest gehen die Meinungen der beiden App-Experten deutlich auseinander. Während Tobi den Titel über den hohen Klee lobt, ist der pingelige Joachim ob vermeintlicher technischer Unzulänglichkeiten gepestet. Enttäuscht ist Tobi von Monster Loves You!, denn das vermeintliche Tamagotchi entpuppt sich als textlastiges Spielbuch. Auf einem ähnlichen Prinzip basiert ZDAY Zombie Apocalypse Survival Simulator, das Joachim mit seinem weichen Hirn nicht nur ob der Gewalt, sondern auch aufgrund der dichten Atmosphäre schätzt. Von Walking Dead: 400 Days ist der Stromstock-Chef indes enttäuscht, denn die kurzen Abschnitte reichen nicht aus, dem Spieler fesselnde Geschichten zu erzählen. Das grafisch wundervolle BIT.TRIP RUN! enttäuschte Joachim so sehr, dass Tobi von den 2D-Flitzer gleich die Finger ließ. Zu ungenau fällt die Steuerung mit Wischgesten aus. Leider. Anders der Fall bei dem von Tobi geschätzten Joust Legend, bei dem Spieler es bei mittelalterlichen Turnieren mit Lanze und bei offenem Visier krachen lassen. Ein markiger Ausklang!
