Especially when you look at some of the bug hitters like Final Fantasy even changing the direction of their combat systems. But games like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 have really shown us how turn based combat can be evolved. So, this week we take a look back at the history of turn based combat and how it has changed over it's 45 year life span.
