In the Mirror Dimension, Iris meets Eva, who has been stranded there ever since the Particle Accelerator explosion knocked her into the mirror in her office. After all this time, she has not been able to find a way out. Iris suggests that they try the same strategy they used when Sam Scudder trapped someone in the Mirror Dimension, however this plan fails and the mirror shatters. Meanwhile, Mirror Iris asks for access to the Mirror Gun to help research Black Hole. While in the basement, she has a run-in with Nash who is still seeing a vision of Harry. Dibny finally runs into Sue Dearbon who is being targeted by gangster John Loring. During a brief raid on Loring's hideout, Ralph reluctantly reveals to Sue that he is Elongated Man. While attempting to steal Loring’s ledger from the bank where it’s being held, Sue double-crosses Ralph and leaves the vault only for her to run into Loring and a squad of his goons. Ralph escapes and uses his elasticity to shield Sue from the bullets fired by Loring and his men. Ultraviolet shows up and beats up Loring and his gang before targeting Ralph and Sue. Getting the diamond she needs, Sue sneaks away while Ultraviolet fights Ralph. When Ralph states that they have been played, Ultraviolet gets away. Loring and his men stand up and are handcuffed by The Flash and arrested by the police with Joe telling the bank manager that Elongated Man was working with them. Iris discovers that Eva can manipulate the mirror as she puts the mirror back together. In her hideout, Sue analyzes the diamond that has the icon of Black Hole on it.

Season 6 of The CW drama The Flash is looking to be its biggest year yet, with new foes, new chapters and a massive crossover that takes one of the biggest DC stories to screen. At this year's San Diego Comic-Con, the cast and showrunner of The Flash were present to preview the new season that will arrive in October. The Flash Podcast took part in the press room this year to discuss with the actors and executive producer on what to expect in Season 6. One of the talents that were present was the Elongated Man himself as Hartley Sawyer chatted with the press about things to look forward to in the new season. Things that Sawyer talked about included: *How deep the mystery of Sue Dearbon Dibny goes in Season 6 before we meet her. *How Season 6 will make Ralph more independent both as a superhero and P.I. *Whether or not he will be in the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. *If there is a favorite part of Ralph as a character that Sawyer has come to love in the past two seasons. Asked about Diggle's greatest challenge going into Season 6, Ramsey replied, “We have to break Diggle. I think Season 6 we'll see Diggle get broken in a way he hasn't been broken before. It already starts in [the first episode], and I think there's a certain amount of it that will continue throughout the season. I think it's an arc for Diggle that we haven't seen, even beyond his brother coming back to life and killing his evil brother and that leading to the death of the Canary.” Diggle's brokenness will — in part — come from the trauma of his island experience will “greatly affect the whole team.” Diggle is typically an open book — keeping both Team Arrow and Lyla informed about what's going on in his life. With these “monumental” physical and mental changes happening to him, it sounds like we're going to see a version of Diggle we have never seen before. http://www.cbr.com/diggle-broken-arrow-season-6/ ‘Arrow' Adds Sydelle Noel for Season 6 (EXCLUSIVE) (Date: 04 Aug 2017) The CW's first DC show, “Arrow,” has cast Sydelle Noel in a recurring role for its sixth season, Variety has learned exclusively. Noel will play Samanda Watson, an FBI agent who will be investigating Oliver Queen's connection to the Green Arrow. Noel was most recently seen on “GLOW” on Netflix, and she also has a role in Marvel's upcoming “Blank Panther” movie. http://variety.com/2017/tv/news/arrow-season-6-casting-sydelle-noel-exclusive-1202515492/ ‘Arrow' Producers Already Have Plans For Season 7 [TCA 2017] (Date: 03 Aug 2017) While previewing season six with the Television Critics Association after a panel for Legends, producer Marc Guggenheim, who also co-created and produces Arrow, said the Arrow writers already have ideas for season seven. “We've already started talking about ooh, we have a shape for season seven already,” Guggenheim said. “This is the earliest we've ever had an idea for a season that far ahead, but it's come out of our conversations about season six.” Beyond season seven, it may be time to begin thinking about giving Arrow a proper series finale. However, when that inevitable time comes, Guggenheim would not require long-term planning to deliver the ending he and co-creators Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg have planned. “I think we've always had an endpoint in mind,” Guggenheim said. “We've always known how we want to end the show. That end point doesn't require X number of seasons. If we had to, we could work towards it as long as we knew with enough leeway, we could work towards the moment we've been talking about since day one.” http://www.slashfilm.com/arrow-producers-already-have-plans-for-season-7-tca-2017/ CW Announces Fall Dates For DC Superhero Crossovers – TCA (Date: 02 Aug 2017) CW announced that the first night of this season's WBTV/DC superhero crossover will be Monday, Nov. 27 when Supergirl will be paired with Arrow. That day reps a one time move to Monday for the special occasion. The crossover concludes Nov. 28 with The Flash in DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Commenting on the crossovers going from four nights last season to two this fall, CW president Mark Pedowitz said, “Last year's (crossover) was the most successful week in CW history in terms of ratings and everything. We felt in this particular case we had Flash on Legends paired, so it was better to make it two two-hour movies – a miniseries – we thought this was the best way to go. We had a lot of conversations with producers and marketing people.” http://deadline.com/2017/08/the-flash-arrow-supergirl-dc-legends-of-tomorrow-dc-superhero-crossovers-1202140712/ GENERAL DC TV NEWS   DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: SEASON 3'S SUPERNATURAL VILLAIN RECRUITS GORILLA GRODD (Date: 02 Aug 2017) "At the head of whatever you want to call our evil organization, it's different. Last year it was three characters from the three different shows that form this alliance. This is a non-human entity," executive producer Phil Klemmer told IGN at the 2017 TV Critics' Association summer press tour. "This is a much more supernatural, spooky vibe this season. We're dealing more with magic. It's less real-world bad guys." Klemmer was keen to leave that character a secret, but he did promise you will hear the character's name in the Season 3 premiere. Unlike previous seasons which are more science or time-travel focused, Season 3 of Legends will "be more in the world of the occult and monsters." Following behind this leader as his acolytes are familiar characters like Damien Darhk, who will have been brought back to life after his death on Arrow, as well as Gorilla Grodd. This will be a post-Gorilla City Grodd. Klemmer confirms they're still actively campaigning for Matt Ryan's Constantine to appear on Legends of Tomorrow as well. http://www.ign.com/articles/2017/08/02/dcs-legends-of-tomorrow-season-3s-supernatural-villain-recruits-gorilla-grodd?abthid=598251bfd41dd1f256000030 The Flash Casts Iconic Justice League Member For Season 4 (Date 31 July 2017) The CW has cast Hartley Sawyer in the role of Ralph Dibny, who will play a recurring role in the upcoming, fourth season of The Flash. One of the Flash's most iconic allies, Ralph Dibny -- a.k.a. The Elongated Man — is a fast-talking private investigator with investigative skills that rival those of Batman. Upon discovering he has the power to stretch his body to any shape or form, Dibny uses his new abilities to help Team Flash solve one of Central City's greatest mysteries. http://comicbook.com/dc/2017/07/31/the-flash-casts-iconic-justice-league-member-for-season-4/?utm_source=Comicbook.com&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=170731_171252_Comicbook.com+Daily+Newsletter&utm_content=Link ‘DC's Legends Of Tomorrow': Jes Macallan To Recur In Season 3 (Date 01 Aug 2017) Mistresses alumna Jes Macallan has signed on for a recurring role in the third season of the CW's superhero drama DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Macallan will play Special Agent Ava Sharpe, a hard working agent for a secret branch of the Federal Government (the Time Bureau) dedicated to the regulation of time-travel and the protection of history. http://deadline.com/2017/08/dcs-legends-of-tomorrow-jes-macallan-recur-season-3-the-cw-mistresses-1202140467/ Spoiler Room: Scoop on Game of Thrones, The Flash, Supergirl, and more (Date: 03 Aug 2017) What do you have on Barry's return to The Flash? — Apparently, not everyone will be on board with how to go about getting Barry back. “I wish I could say that the team unanimously agrees that things are not the same when the season starts, but not everybody feels that way,” Carlos Valdes tells me. “Most of the energy on the team is toward getting Barry back, and Cisco may or may not have some things up his sleeve with regards with how to make that happen, but there is a member of the team that's not on board, and that ultimately makes the mission to get Barry back a lot more difficult. But the thing about Cisco is if he wants to get his friends back, he will do whatever it takes the get his friends back — and that's not just Barry.” With Floriana Lima not sticking around as a regular, is there any hope you can give for Sanvers on Supergirl? — Yes, Floriana Lima won't be a series regular next season, but the Supergirl bosses hope to keep her around as much as possible. So in the plus column, it really does sound like her character won't meet a grim fate. “Maggie is welcome to come back any time she's free,” EP Jessica Queller says. “We love Sanvers and we're very sad that Floriana is not available full time this season.” EP Robert Rovner adds: “We love this relationship we've created. With that, we're going to be telling a modern day love story that really honors their relationship that hopefully will resonate and I think will be very satisfying. Hopefully, she will come join us [again]. The door is always open for Floriana Lima.” http://ew.com/tv/2017/08/03/spoiler-room-game-thrones-flash-supergirl/ Legends of Tomorrow Casts Spartacus Actor as Julius Caesar (Date 05 Aug 2017) When the show resumes this fall, the Legends will travel from present day 2017 to Ancient Rome. When in Rome, the Legends will run into none other than the infamous Julius Caesar. CBR has confirmed that Julius Caesar will be played by actor Simon Merrells. Merrells previously starred on The CW's The Tomorrow People with The Flash's Robbie Amell. Marrells is also the sixth Spartacus actor to join the Arrowverse, which includes Manu Bennett, Todd Lasance, Liam McIntyre, Nick Tarabay, and Katrina Law. http://www.cbr.com/legends-of-tomorrow-simon-merrells-julius-caesar/ Supergirl Casts 24 Vet Carlos Bernard as Maggie's [Spoiler] in Season 3 (Date: 04 Aug 2017) 24 alum Carlos Bernard will guest-star during Season 3 of the CW series as Maggie Sawyer's father, TVLine has learned. http://tvline.com/2017/08/04/supergirl-casts-carlos-bernard-season-3-maggie-father-oscar/   NEXT EPISODE   Link to Promo: (Date: 15 March 2017) https://www.comicbookmovie.com/tv/dc/legends_of_tomorrow/legends-of-tomorrow-check-out-the-new-extended-promo-for-season-2-episode-15-fellowship-of-the-spear-a149633   Episode: “Fellowship of the Spear” [Season 2 Episode 14] Air Date: Tuesday, March 21, 2017 Summary: The Legends land in France during World War I and enlist the aid of J.R.R. Welcome to a very special edition of the podcast as we mix things up a bit. I'm joined by longtime friend and returning CR writer Russell Burlingame, freelance artist and part of the Feeding Ground crew Michael Lapinski and joker cosplayer extraordinaire Andre Beshta. Now for those that don't listen regularly we had two recent shows with the Nerd Girls Eye View and the Feeding Ground crew where I determined that it's fun to have a crew on the show so I decided to let this madness occur. Think of us as a tough crowd/chelsea handler type of podcast. (I'll still be doing the interview episodes as well, I promise!) In this very episode we discuss our celebrity look alike, the death of Wizard magazine (Russ was once an intern at Wizard and his insights are a great listen), upcoming comic movies and we're also talking about death in comics (Johnny Storm, the Dibny's) and we even cover a bit of Identity Crisis (and our general like of Brad Meltzer). Oh and Russ gives us a little more insight into the Sentry controversy that Wizard helped set up. Also of note: Future shows will probably just focus on one topic but for this first one we jumped around a lot. Join us on the forums to discuss what we talked about, and definitely give us your thoughts! Next time the crew gets together, we talk event books and the effects on the average comic reader!
