Do you ever just start talking about 2009 and realize you've been talking for far longer than one episode of a podcast should allow? As you might imagine, Sam and Jordan find themselves in that position often, which is how you end up with a minisode all about DJ Earworm mega-mixes, Britney Spears chart toppers, and the emergence of Grindr. Your hosts are in a house with 50 crazy bitches in useless belts, and they've got a lot to tell you. Produced by: Jordan Crucchiola Music by: Sam Wineman
In the third episode of Niche @ Nite, Nick and Amanda discuss the emotions behind unknowingly open mouth kissing a cannibal, an unrelated but also satanic “Call Me By Your Name,” the loosely hanging CAMP that the live action Powerpuff Girls are serving, Canadian pop bangers, 2012 hits YouTube mashups, and the subtle differences between the two definitions of "scat." And they somehow do all of that while touching on the nuances of race, gender, sexuality, image, and healing your inner child. If you've been traumatized by a GOOP vagina crystal or if you're considering being traumatized by a GOOP vagina crystal, this is the episode for you.
We’ve got news about Nic Cage’s swear words series; Howard Stern re-ups for $120M a year; Cody Simpson is now an Olympian; DJ Earworm’s 2020 mashup has dropped; we announce TWO movie giveaways; a deranged man dances on an airliner’s wing; HBO wants to reboot “True Blood;” “Office Space” is honored in “The Mandalorian;” our favorite shows are finally back in production; and, so much more silliness.

Hello everyone! This past July, I went to the Get Your Teach On national conference, and it was absolutely astounding, to say the least. I knew I wanted to talk about my experience, but I needed someone special to help me, so I brought back friend of the show and fellow attendee of the conference, Halee Sikorski (otherwise known as @ALatteLearning on Instagram.) Together, we discuss our experience, all the way from funding Halee's trip, to our biggest takeaways from the many presentations we got to experience. Between the hype that DJ Earworm brought on night one and the next level energy the GYTO team brings every moment, we had SO MUCH to discuss. Enjoy! PS: Here's some pictures of me at the conference! We're back after a long absence. It feels like it's been forever, but also no time at all because I've just been recording along while the website was in stasis the whole time. Got a bit of a somewhat dated backlog to start off with, but after that, it's content as usual! This episode, we're just talking about our favorite manga of 2018! That song you heard at the top of the episode was "United State of Pop 2018 (Turnin' It Up)" by DJ Earworm. It's a mashup, like this episode. As always, you can find me on Twitter @ImpassionateK, and my co-hosts Helen (@WanderinDreamr) and Apryll (@manjiorin) on Twitter at those places in the parenthesis. You can find both of their writing at The Organization of Anti-Social Geniuses, more of Helen's writing at Narrative Investigations, and my writing at the Fandom Post. This should have been the 12/19 episode. Listen Show notes: 0:40 - Number threes! 5:42 - Number twos! 14:43 - Number ones! 25:50 - Also rans! Next time is Mushishi and Land of the Lustrous.

Two records from 1983 achieved minor novelty fame, and then faded away, only to emerge 20 years later as the originators of a curious genre of pop music in the age of social media. This peculiar genre raises questions about how we should think about genre, musical aesthetics, and artistry in the time of industrially-produced music and digital reproduction. Guest voices include Jordan Roseman, aka DJ Earworm, Steve Stein, aka Steinski, philosopher Chris Bartel, and musicologist Christine Boone. Learn more about your ad choices. A discussion of audio mashups featuring several highly entertaining examples.
To kick off the new year, Dale & Scott welcomed real-men-have-hair porn star COLBY KELLER to the studio on New Year's Eve. With his best friend and party host KARL MARKS by his side and a scotch on the rocks in his hand, Colby is a laid-back, fun-loving good sport who tells us about his love of crafts--including making his own penis menorah to celebrate Hanukkah--his love of beards, his near-disastorous first porn shoot, why Washington, DC's big granite monuments turns him on, why he sets up spanking stations at parties (which Scott dared to enter later that evening), and the weirdest things his fans have sent to him in the mail. Colby is foremost an artist and he talks about the blending of art and porn, too. You can get an idea of what he's talking about at his great personal blog, BigShoeDiaries. (Beware, the site is not quite work safe.) We loved having Colby and friends in the studio, and since he lives just up the road in Baltimore, we hope he'll cum back for more. Also up this week, we welcome Mr. Manners himself, gay etiquette expert STEVEN PETROW back to the show for his now monthly segment. He's got tips and hints to live your best gay life, including subjects as diverse as watching porn on planes, how long you should keep a dead partner's Facebook page active, the art of resifting after the holidays, and how to politely decline sexual advances. We love our chats with Steven and we think you just might learn something. Is that so bad? Check out Steven's website and consider getting his great new book, Steven Petrow's Complete Gay & Lesbian Manners: The Definitive Guide to LGBT Life. And to top it off, we have a very special track for you this week. It's DJ EARWORM's United State of Pop 2011 (World Go Boom) mashup track. You can learn more about his great music mixes at his website or on Facebook. Dale & Scott also have the low-down on: Lady Gaga's new Stuck on Fuckin' You track; Funny things friends said online this week; Steven Tyler topless in Hawaii; The Real Housewives of Beverly Hill's Kyle Richards' new book; Delaware & Hawaii now allow same-sex civil unions; Skater Johnny Weir gets hitched; PR hottie Ricky Martin may get married in New York City this month; We can expect more Ab Fab in 2013; Elton John selects his pick to play him in bio pic; Katy Perry gets dumped; and, Steven J. Walker's Superman snuggie; and, Dale & Scott want to remake a television classic with a gay twist...Hee Haw!
This mix features the Black Eyed Peas, Janis Joplin, Ke$ha, The Rolling Stones, Snap, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kings of Leon, DJ Earworm, Schmolli, MadMixMustang and more all blended TamiDJ style for your listening pleasure.
