“There were some heroes and there were some zeroes…”   BACK TO THE BEGINNING, the final concert performance by the O.G. lineup of BLACK SABBATH featuring Bill Ward, Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi, and Ozzy Osbourne (along with an all-star roster of top shelf rock & metal artists) was held at Villa Park in Aston, Birmingham, England on 05/07/2025 (that's July 5th, 2025 for people in the United States) and raised nearly $200 Million for charity.    While BACK TO THE BEGINNING will go down in heavy metal history as “The Live Aid of Metal”, it also represents a significant turning point and an emotional marker for metal fans from all over the world who came to pay homage and bid a celebratory yet poignant farewell to the Founding Fathers of Heavy Metal and The Prince Of Darkness.   Ladies, prepare to comprehend why Pantera playing Sabbath songs at a Zeppelin tribute is as much a faux pas as “showing up to a funeral wearing a bridal gown”, gentlemen, understand how Slipknot's Sid Wilson is an absolute genius when it comes to remembering landmark dates with that special someone, and as for everybody else, break out your assortment of relaxers and various modalities of twanglification and JOIN US as we celebrate Sabbath, Ozzy, and all things metal with our take on BACK TO THE BEGINNING. “What does it sound like when a rock legend says goodbye—while sitting on a throne, surrounded by fire, thunder, and 40,000 screaming fans?”In this electrifying episode of The Ben and Skin Show, Ben Rogers, Jeff “Skin” Wade, Kevin “KT” Turner, and Krystina Ray—takes you inside the epic, emotional, and downright bizarre farewell concert of the one and only Ozzy Osbourne. From Jason Momoa moshing with Pantera to Jack Black jamming with Tom Morello's 13-year-old son, this wasn't just a concert—it was a full-blown rock opera fever dream. KT breaks down the wild lineup, including Metallica, Alice in Chains, Anthrax, and even a surprise appearance by Steven Tyler, who somehow belted out Led Zeppelin despite his “toasted” vocal cords. But it's not all jokes—there's genuine awe and respect as they reflect on Ozzy's legacy, his resilience, and the sheer spectacle of his final bow. From “Crazy Train” to “War Pigs,” the Prince of Darkness delivered one last thunderous sermon—and the guys were here for it.

Rebecca Lynn Howard stormed into country music with “Forgive,” a powerhouse ballad that turned heads and proved her voice was the real deal. Not long after, Trisha Yearwood heard her play a song and asked to cut it on the spot—years later, they’d co-write Trisha’s latest single, “Girls Night In.” Rebecca went on to form The Loving Mary Band, which became Steven Tyler’s personal band—showing she could crush it in any genre, on any stage. But behind the music was a deeper journey: grieving her father, reclaiming her health, and coming back stronger than ever. Her new album, “I’m Not Who You Think I Am,” is raw, real, and full of hard-won truth. This is Rebecca—bold, honest, and completely unforgettable.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Them boys can't shake the south, cuz they ended up in 1992's DIGGSTOWN! Lex's pick, directed by Michael Ritchie (DOWNHILL RACER, THE BAD NEWS BEARS, FLETCH) pairs sweaty, tie-adjusting James Woods with lean, mean Louis Gossett Jr. in a '90s version of THE STING that has more bobo-honkin' than Steven Tyler in a harmonica factory. It's a Lex favorite, but does it hold up? Duncan decides if it's worthy of a standing O, or if this is just Tubi filler. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

It's possible that Aerosmith is the greatest American rock band of all time. And in our opinion, their best album was 1975's Toys In The Attic which is still their biggest selling original record with over 9 million sold in the US. As it turns 50 we decided to dive deep into what makes this album so great and why it endures to this day as a hard rock classic. Yes, it has singles that were popular in their day and are still staples on classic rock radio in Sweet Emotion and Walk This Way. But the title track is a killer way to start a rockin album and is an Aerosmith signature. You See Me Cryin' allows the Bad Boys from Boston to show their tender side (and incorporate strings), Round And Round shows a harder Aerosmith, and Big Ten Inch Record shows off the tongue-in-cheek lyrics that have made the band famous (though that one is a cover, it's classic Steven Tyler). The boys had been touring hard and were really firing on all cylinders. The previous year's Get Your Wings had been well received and had a killer cover of Train Kept A Rollin which was one of their live staples. But what made this album different from the previous two is that when they went to the Record Plant in New York City to record Toys, they didn't have any songs ready. They'd honed the songs from the previous albums live before heading into record them but this time they started from scratch with a few ideas they'd been noodling on. Joe Perry came up with the riff to Walk This Way on stage in Hawaii. Tom Hamilton had the Sweet Emotion bits for years before he worked with Steven Tyler to mold them into an all time classic. Brad Whitford got a co-write on Round And Round and Joe Perry really established himself as one of the killer guitar slingers of his generation. As it turns 50, we celebrate Aerosmith's greatest album - Toys In The Attic! SNL's Homecoming Concert was must-see-Peacock, Eli Zaret joins us to discuss USA v. Canada, Bill Burr v. Billionaires, a floating romantic Kanye tape, Justin Tucker's seven new accusers, and Will Smith drops a fresh turd. MrBeast wrapped up Beast Games and it was phenomenal. Drew has some issues with the winner though. Eli Zaret joins the show to discuss the awesome USA vs Canada game, the NBA All-Star Game will be boring, a new possible WNBA team in Detroit, NFL Mock Drafts, Tom Izzo gets win 354 passing Bobby Knight, Michigan over OSU, Alex Bregman to the Red Sox, Mike Tyson smoked Toad Venom to cure his Parkinson's Disease, bare knuckle fighting, Shaq gives zero fucks and more. California and Gavin Newsom spend quite a bit on immigrants. DOGE is split right down the middle for the most part. Waste has been found… but who really knows? A.I. Trump is causing mischief. The SNL50: The Homecoming Concert rocked! Bill Burr hates billionaires. Jamie Dimon has a few of our listeners angry. Working remote can be a tricky thing. Jay-Z and Diddy rape cases have been dropped. Diddy is not off the hook yet, though. SEVEN more people come out against Justin Tucker. Matt Araiza has made a comeback. Will Smith dropped a new song and it sucks. Kanye West sex tape floating around. Kanye and Bianca Censori have no pre-nup. Corey Feldman's drummer died. The drummer's mom then yells at Corey Feldman. Corey and Steven Tyler are bros. Luigi Mangione releases a statement. CNN's Kaitlan Collins is a fan. Collins claims her post was newsworthy. Elizabeth Holmes has broken her silence from behind bars. Meghan and Harry are swindlers for the Bidens. Meghan's baby shower was a shit show.
