After a rant about Spotify's current policy to only allow for 12 hours of audio book listening per month, we check back in with the OC ladies as they continue their reunion. Should Katie be blamed for her daughter being a TikTok star who made a funny video about her mother's rivals? Can Emily understand that not everyone is a lawyer and, if they were, her career choice would be obsolete? Will Alexis recognize that she's been trained to be a mouthpiece for a scorned man? Does Heather understand that yelling at women whose children think she's mean does not help her case? We find answers to these questions and more in Part two of the Real Housewives of Orange County. WOMEN'S RIGHTS: Help pressure Biden to pass the Equal Rights Amendment that would give women protections in the Constitution before his term ends. Call the White House at (202) 456-1111 or text at (302) 404-0880 and simply say, "I'm calling to urge President Biden to make publication of the Equal Rights Amendment to the Constitution a priority before the end of his term." So easy. The 28th Amendment to the Constitution would make sure no one faces gender discrimination and would help protect women against gender-based violence, banning birth control, and unequal pay. Without an amendment giving women equal rights, those injustices are harder to protect against. But if I don't go out there, I’ll never live it down in my mind. I can do this, lower the expectations and step into it.” - Heather Monahan “People need to feel empowered, they need to feel safe, and they need to feel that they're in a trusting environment whatever that looks like.” - Heather Monahan “You’ve got to reinvent yourself and you've got to find a way to create connections through a computer, which isn't easy for everyone. So you've got to start employing different tactics, testing different things, and meeting with people who are doing well so you can learn some hacks from them.” - Heather Monahan “One of the most powerful things you can do for one of your clients or customers is asking how they are in a truly caring way and allow them to empty their glass. You just created such trust and such connection, that their brain is firing dopamine and they feel amazing.” - Heather Monahan “What we can do is we can find certainty within ourselves. Meaning, if we are still in an environment like this, you know, virtually a portion of my business more, I'll capitalize and I'll find ways to be more efficient, effective, and optimize what I'm currently doing.” - Heather Monahan Resources Mentioned: Agency Intelligence Reach out to Jason Cass LinkedIn- Heather Monahan Speakers Bureau TedX Confidence Creator Advertisers: Podium ePay Policy

Elise’s guest today is Heather Holderby, a former intern at the Kentucky Equine Management Internship program (KEMI). KEMI was founded in 2000 to help young people who are interested in a career with horses -- but lack the experience, knowledge, and contacts in the industry -- to get that first break. Through KEMI, Heather has had experiences with some of the finest Thoroughbreds and professionals in the horse world — including working at Ashford Stud, where she was among the lucky few to welcome Triple Crown winner American Pharoah straight off the trailer from winning the Breeder's Cup. She also worked at Timber Town Stables for the renowned Shelley Bunning, helping foal out such legends as Havre de Grace, Groupie Doll, and Unrivaled Belle. In Episode 33 of Because of Horses, Elise interviewed KEMI’s program coordinator, Leslie Janecka, who told us all about the program’s structure, eligibility requirements, and what the program entails.
