Time for round two of Fog of Love: Romantic Comedy as a Board Game! This time we're playing the most challenging scenario "I Know What I Want". Royce plays Betty, the parking attendant while Courtney plays Calvin, the internet celebrity. It doesn't go well.
Like Zelda? Like Heaven's Vault? You need to play it. 26:41 - The mean, green Marvel machine rolls on with She-Hulk: Attorney at Law now streaming. The TV show comic book adaptation joins the rest of Disney's line up as an excellent addition, and below its jade-coloured surface is a season of depth and surprises. 37:03 - A while back, Games Workshop took Blood Bowl and made Blitz Bowl, a faster-paced, beginner-friendly take on the core idea of fantasy American football (emphasis firmly on fantasy). With Ultimate Edition now out, we take a look at the previous iteration: Season 2. 49:55 - Fog of Love implies awkwardness, but results in hilarity and enjoyable (?) compromise from its players. Fog of Love is often described as "Romantic Comedy as a Board Game", so what happens when a married Ace couple gives it a play? In this episode, we roleplay a fraught year in the relationship of Priscilla, the advertising manager and Bertrand, the career criminal. Silliness ensues.
In this episode, Rachel and Jake fall head over heals in Fog of Love. This two-player game attempts to recreate a romantic comedy with players acting out sweet, serious, or dramatic scenes in a relationship as they try to navigate making themselves and their partner happy. The game ends with the romantic couple either meeting or failing their destinies but either way, hopefully it was a fun ride! Listen to find out who has jiggly legs and where Patrick Swayze fits into the equation.
