Before Liz and I began producing The Co-Operatives Podcast, we decided it would be best to test out our idea and make a demo episode of the show. We made this episode after playing LEGO: Dimensions and sent it off to the rest of the VStheUNIVERSE LLC members, and a few other creators we were familiar with. What follows is that test episode, and we hope you enjoy it.Listening back to this recording, there's a lot of rough edges. There's a lot of bad bits, and more than a few audio/editing flubs on my part. I am most proud of Liz for becoming so proficient at hosting over the past two years, and I'm happy my editing skills have gotten a bit more polished. Some people thought it was funny that we made a test episode, but I come from a background where you rehearse and rehearse and rehearse before you get in front of an audience. It felt natural to me, and it made us both feel better to get a handle on recording before fully committing to it. Just like in theatre, workshopping helps to provide you with the most excellent end result. I love what the podcast is today, and we would never have gotten there if we didn't try this out first. Also it's CRAZY to hear how Liz and I sound and act together two years ago versus now. It makes me smile. We're currently at GenCon, and hope to see you there! Come to our panel and the Earworm meet-up and well high-five! https://bit.ly/HoodieWeatherDiscord

Dark Souls is hands-down one of the most difficult and punishing board games ever to hit the market...and Aaron & Liz loved every minute of it. Big thanks to Ed Soderberg and Danny Bass of Ironrise Games for jumping into this game with our hosts! Check out Ironrise Games here!--- Want to learn more about Dark Souls? This episode is a bit different from what we're used to, but for good reason.Liz & Aaron spent the last two weeks playing a variety of games, namely Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2, and Marvel Heroes Omega. They also became obsessed with the BBC show The Great British Baking Show, and had to make some decisions. This episode is more centered around how nostalgia can seep in and affect our choices, how that same nostalgia can trick us, and knowing how to spend your time in the best way possible. Enjoy!--- Check out Marvel Heroes Omega here: https://marvelheroes.com/aboutWe recommend playing Marvel Heroes Omega out of the three games we discussed on this episode because, while it's not perfect, it's got the best gameplay and character selection!(I mean come ON, it has Captain Marvel, She-Hulk, Spider-Gwen, Jane Foster Thor, and some decent Captain America costumes!)About The Co-Operatives Podcast--- Reach out to The Co-Operatives by tweeting to the Hoodie Weather account @about60degrees on Twitter or e-mailing us at CoOperativesPod@gmail.com. James D'Amato and Mel Fox of the OneShot Network join Aaron & Liz for a very special episode of The Co-Operatives Podcast! This time our detective gang is covering Sherlock Holmes & Moriarty's Web by Keifer Arts! Here lies The Final Problem: Is the game fun?We wax poetic about Benedict Cumberbatch, Stephen Fry being perfect, and how John Watson is an expert at gettin' sexy with a little straddlin'! Also, there's a bunch of bits. Quote of the show comes from Liz: "I've had four shots of whiskey, and zero shots of dinner."About The Co-Operatives Podcast--- Reach out to The Co-Operatives by tweeting to the Hoodie Weather account @about60degrees on Twitter or e-mailing us at CoOperativesPod@gmail.com.
