Missions Pt. 4 - "God Sent His Son" (10:30am) by Mission Ebenezer Family Church
Galatians 4:4-6 4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, 5to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. 6And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, Abba! Father! Matthew 1:1-17 The Genealogy of Jesus Christ 1The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. 2Abraham was the father of Isaac, and Isaac the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers, 3and Judah the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, and Perez the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of Ram,[a] 4and Ram the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon the father of Salmon,5and Salmon the father of Boaz by Rahab, and Boaz the father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed the father of Jesse, 6and Jesse the father of David the king. And David was the father of Solomon by the wife of Uriah, 7and Solomon the father of Rehoboam, and Rehoboam the father of Abijah, and Abijah the father of Asaph,[b] 8and Asaph the father of Jehoshaphat, and Jehoshaphat the father of Joram, and Joram the father of Uzziah, 9and Uzziah the father of Jotham, and Jotham the father of Ahaz, and Ahaz the father of Hezekiah, 10and Hezekiah the father of Manasseh, and Manasseh the father of Amos,[c] and Amos the father of Josiah, 11and Josiah the father of Jechoniah and his brothers, at the time of the deportation to Babylon. 12And after the deportation to Babylon: Jechoniah was the father of Shealtiel,[d] and Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel, 13and Zerubbabel the father of Abiud, and Abiud the father of Eliakim, and Eliakim the father of Azor, 14and Azor the father of Zadok, and Zadok the father of Achim, and Achim the father of Eliud, 15and Eliud the father of Eleazar, and Eleazar the father of Matthan, and Matthan the father of Jacob, 16and Jacob the father of Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus was born, who is called Christ. 17So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations, and from David to the deportation to Babylon fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon to the Christ fourteen generations.
“God sent His Son; they called Him Jesus…” The first few words of a beloved hymn. How thankful this world should be that God did so—His will and His plan through His Son for us.

We are now into chapter 4 of 1st John and the section entitled: Fellowship with God who is Love. Once again we are reminded of Jesus' own words that we are to love one another even as He Himself loved us and gave Himself for us. Once again, here is Dr. Mitchell, 1John chapter 4:7.

Gospel of Grace Fellowship, Sermons (St Louis Park Minnesota)
The Christmas season is about far more than trees, lights, and tinsel. It's a fulfillment of prophecy and promise. On this third installment of "Jesus and the Prophecies of Christmas," we're exploring the purpose of Jesus' birth and what the Old Testament prophecies predicted hundreds of years before the nativity. There's a reason the Christmas story has resonated and resounded for more than two millennia – it's a story for every man, woman, and child who has ever lived. Skeptics and others often ask “why” — why did an all-powerful God want to send his own son to the manger and then ultimately the cross? We address that and more in this episode. Join Greg Laurie, Jeff Kinley, Ray Comfort, Jesse Bradley, Shane Idleman, and CBN's Billy Hallowell for this must-hear conversation. And on the next episode of "Jesus and the Prophecies of Christmas" — the finale airing December 23 — we'll take a look at God's promises to King David and we'll jump back into the nativity story to see some of the other powerful and prophetic messages delivered to some key figures who don't often get attention.

As We Prepare for Advent, We Hear the Term in the Fullness of Time, God Sent His Son. What Does That Mean and Why Is It Important for Us? First Saturday celebration this December also marks the end of the liturgical year. Advent begins at sundown. Advent tends to take Catholics by surprise. As Catholics prepare for Lent, they have a plan as to what sacrifice they want to do. Advent falls normally right after Thanksgiving, or the week after, and it catches many Catholics by surprise. What are we to do for Advent? Hear more in the Homily. Advent also requires a game plan; we need to be prepared. It's not about what are the things we are going to do! What is the perspective of the heart and soul out of which we will be doing things for Advent. The readings help understand this more clearly. In the Fullness of Time, God Sent His Son What does fullness of time really mean? Why is that important to us now? Hear more within this Meditation Media.
