Hoy en Capital Intereconomía, Miguel Ángel García-Ramos, Director de Relación con Inversores en NZI Helmets, nos habla de esta empresa líder global en seguridad y diseño para motociclistas. En 1983, con un casco de fibra de vidrio comenzó el camino de Nazario Ibáñez Azorín, que fundó NZI Helmets. 42 años después han producido más de 21 millones de cascos que han vestido campeones del motociclismo como Alex Crivillé, Álvaro Bautista y Jorge Lorenzo. Yecla Murcia fue su cuna, lugar desde donde operan y dominan el panorama nacional desde hace décadas. Sin embargo, el mayor síntoma de la evolución de la compañía es que en 2015 vendía el 80% de su producción en España, y actualmente ese 80% de las ventas proceden de los mercados internacionales. Esto les ha servido para cimentar una base sólida donde impulsar los planes de expansión de la compañía que se centran ahora en aprovechar el valor de una marca ampliamente reconocida entre los motoristas de todo el mundo. Ya en 2024, NZI dio un paso fundamental en su trayectoria el debut en la bolsa BME Growth, con un precio de salida de la acción de 0,91 euros y una valoración inicial de 15 millones. Sobre su experiencia en bolsa, el invitado comenta que “ha sido muy positiva, no solo a niveles de rentabilidad sino que también es una herramienta de marketing, para nuestro valor y nuestra industria”. Dentro de un mercado competitivo, NZI es prácticamente la única acción cotizada de este sector, junto con una empresa japonesa. Se trata de un dato relevante, teniendo en cuenta que, según explica Miguel Ángel, “De aquí hasta final de la década este es el sector que más va a crecer”.

Además, Carlos Alsina, Rubén Amón, Rosa Belmonte, Guillermo Altares, Sergio del Molino y Nacho Vigalondo han leído el ensayo 'Breve historia de la oscuridad', de Vicente Monroy, que revela lo reciente, en realidad, de nuestra costumbre de ver las películas en salas con las luces apagadas, además de ilustrar el sentido de esta liturgia y reivindicar la oscuridad y la penumbra como un terreno culturalmente fértil.
