POWER BALLAD MOVIE REVIEW Paul Rudd's charisma knows no bounds. It's very evident in the newest film, Power Ballad, by John Carney (Once, Sing Street) where he plays a former rocker, now a moderately successful wedding singer in Ireland. This week, we're scratching The Itch for etiquette! The guys caught a trio of VERY different shows with one thing in common: concertgoers in need of friendly reminders about how to act. But that's what we're here for, right? That and giggles. First, it's an early Father's Day as Dan takes his dad to see Itch guest Kenny Wayne Shepherd on his Ledbetter Heights 30th anniversary tour, where nostalgia and mastery were both on display. Then, Dan pivots to being the dad himself, as he and Hannah take their sons (and KC!) to see Bring Me the Horizon, Motionless in White, The Plot in You, and Amira Elfeky at a show that would gain national rock news attention for a rather unpleasant reason. (Don't worry, it had nothing to do with us.) And finally, we cover Pointfest for the sixth year in a row. But when a show's headliner is unbearably boring, the rest of the lineup has a lot of weight to pull. Did they succeed? Listen to find out as Dan catches Magnolia Park, From Ashes to New, Highly Suspect, Mammoth, and Blue October! And stay to the end for an etiquette proposal that you're sure to have an opinion on! Enjoy. Listen to The Itch Rock Radio Show Rock with us every Sunday night from 6-9pm CST on KCLC-FM in St. Louis. Outside the area? IS GOD IS MOVIE REVIEW In the cinematic debut from multiple award-winning playwright Aleshea Harris comes the unexpected curve ball of Is God Is, based on her 2018 off-Broadway play. THE CHRISTOPHERS MOVIE REVIEW From prolific filmmaker Steven Soderbergh comes a dramatic comedy about elderly artist, Julian Sklar (Ian McKellan) and his newly hired assistant Lori Butler (Michaela Coel). THE DRAMA MOVIE REVIEW Don't let the title fool you, The Drama is a comedy, albeit a very dark, pitch-black comedy; the kind where the laughs offer a welcome and much needed respite from the discomfort you'll feel as its narrative unfolds. UNDERTONE MOVIE REVIEW We here at oneofus.net have some experience with recording/editing podcasts all alone at night in spooky houses (some of us doing it while a beloved family member lies dying nearby). Episode 064: This week on Six Picks Music Club, we're skipping the rehab and going straight for the stash with a setlist that'll leave you absolutely cooked. We're kicking things off with a gateway hit from The Uninvited before the mood gets thick and smoky with a heavy dose of Amy Winehouse. To keep the heart rate from flatlining, we're passing the 311 for those herbal, sun-drenched vibrations, then mainline some gritty, high-octane energy from Highly Suspect. Just as the walls start to melt, we're micro-dosing a little psych-rock magic with The Beatles and finally crashing out into the beautifully jagged, pill-pressed blues of Placebo. It's a pure, uncut trip through our favorite musical dependencies—guaranteed to give you a contact high without the comedown. Apple Podcasts Instagram Spotify Playlist Official Site

THE BRIDE! MOVIE REVIEW The 2020s seem to be the era of the return of the Universal monster. Not that you'd always recognize them as such. CRIME 101 MOVIE REVIEW We love a good heist movie, especially when it focuses on both the cops and the robbers as primary characters. WUTHERING HEIGHTS MOVIE REVIEW There have been a LOT of film and tv adaptations of Wuthering Heights, author Emily Bronte's single novel from 1847. THE MOMENT MOVIE REVIEW There have been plenty of musical biopics, concert films, and documentaries about incredible music artists, but none like The Moment. SHELTER MOVIE REVIEW There are three kinds of Jason Statham films. #1- Part of an ensemble cast of folks, pretty much always action-based, and more often than not a Guy Ritchie movie (Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Ghosts of Mars). #2 – Action with some comedy but usually batshit crazy cartoon stuff (Crank, […]

28 YEARS LATER: THE BONE TEMPLE MOVIE REVIEW It's 28 years after the 28 weeks after the 28 days later and The Bone Temple picks up right where 2025's 28 Years Later left off, making it the first direct sequel in this franchise of post-apocalyptic ‘infected' horror films.
