Welcome to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings dropped their regular season finale 31-9 at Ford Field in Detroit. It was tough sledding all night, with the Vikings Offense only generating 262 yards on 62 plays. Cam Akers led the running game with 65 yards on the ground and Justin Jefferson had 54 yards on 3 receptions. Will Reichard connected on 3-of-4 field goal attempts on the night. The Vikings will return home and flip their sights to their Wild Card Weekend matchup at Sofi Stadium versus the Rams on Monday Night Football on January 13th. Paul Allen and Pete Bercich breakdown the week 18 contest, including: the Lions defensive pressure was a problem for the offense, the team needs to have a short memory this week, offensively they need to finish redzone drives, and our 14-3 season was very good but we need to fix the deficiencies we showed very quickly. Plus, Kevin O'Connell and Sam Darnold spoke in the postgame press conferences about the victory. All of this and more is in tonight's edition of the Vikings Postgame Report.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Vikings' perfect season has ended, but it is far from over. The Detroit Lions came to town and put together four consecutive scoring drives in the middle quarters, and that put the Vikings behind the 8-ball. They did battle and retake the lead in the fourth quarter with a scoop and score by Ivan Pace, but the offense didn't hold up their end of the deal by getting a couple first downs late and the Lions win with a field goal.

The Minnesota Vikings benched Joshua Dobbs for Nick Mullens, which they did in the nick of time to score one field goal and win the game. That only happened because they shut out the Las Vegas Raiders on the back of a dominant game from Ivan Pace Jr, and an equally dominant game from someone who barely showed up on the stat sheet.WANT MORE DAILY MINNESOTA VIKINGS CONTENT?Join me on Patreon! https://patreon.com/lukebraunnflFollow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms…

Welcome to the Week 14 edition of the Vikings Postgame Report. It was a defensive slugfest in Las Vegas as the Vikings pulled off the 3-0 victory. Both defenses played incredibly, only giving up a combined 433 total yards to their opponents offenses. The Vikings were able to flip the turnover battle this week, finishing +3, including a huge interception by linebacker Ivan Pace jr. deep into the 4th Quarter. Pace also recorded a sack on the day and led the team with 13 tackles. The three other sacks by the Vikings were recorded by D.J. Wonnum, Harrison Phillips, and Troy Dye. Mekhi Blackmon and Jay Ward rounded out the big defensive stats for Minnesota by each recovering a fumble. Offensively, Quarterback Josh Dobbs started the game, but Nick Mullens came in late in the 4th Quarter to lead the game winning drive. Dobbs finished with 63 yards passing on 10 completions, while Mullens added 83 passing yards on 9 completions. Kicker Greg Joseph was big when they needed it most, as he hit the game winning 36-yard score with 1:57 left in the game. Paul Allen and Pete Bercich recap the game, including: the incredible defensive performance, the spark provided by Nick Mullens, and the key plays supplied by the Special Teams unit. Plus, Head Coach Kevin O'Connell and Quarterback Nick Mullens both spoke to the media at the postgame press conference.
