The likelihood is that the Steelers will draft a guy in the early rounds to play safety.

Probably not, but if he drops a little bit, it could change the draft plans of other NFL teams picking ahead of the Steelers, and open up prospects that were thought to be too good to fall to the 17th overall pick in the first round when the Steelers can make their first selection.
