03/16/26: Jamie Selzler sits down with his cousin and West Fargo United hockey coach, Kennedy Blair. Kennedy just finsihed her first year as head coach of the West Fargo United Girls’ Hockey Program, and helped bring the team to win the state championship. Kennedy began her collegiate career at the University of North Dakota (2016–17), redshirting her freshman season. She then transferred to Mercyhurst University, where she made an immediate impact as a freshman, earning All-CHA Rookie Team honors and being named CHA Goaltender of the Year. Over three seasons with the Lakers, she helped lead the team to a CHA Championship in 2020, earning CHA All-Tournament MVP honors, multiple CHA Goaltender of the Week and Month awards, and establishing herself as one of the top goaltenders in the conference. In 2020, Blair transferred to the University of Wisconsin, where she helped the Badgers capture the 2021 NCAA National Championship and was recognized as a two-time semi-finalist for NCAA Division I National Goalie of the Year. 02/23/26: A native of Warroad, MN, Dave Christian entered UND in the fall of 1977and was one of the most accomplished hockey players from UND. He left UND to play for the 1980 gold medal U.S. Olympic Hockey team as a defenseman. After the Olympics, Christian signed with the Winnipeg Jets and set an NHL record for a rookie scoring only seven seconds into his first NHL game. Dave's family has a strong history in U.S. Hockey, and just watched his nephew, Brock Nelson, play in the Italy Olympics, adding a third generation to the family's Olympic gold medal collection. Brock ended up with a huge role to play in this tournament, helping key a penalty kill while contributing two goals and an assist across six games.
