Join us as we dig deeper into last Sunday's sermon from Pastor Marcus Lane "Peter" and hear from Amy Duncan and Nate Zuellig on "Made For More". Digging Deeper Questions: Have you experienced instances where living a self-directed life feels like spinning your wheels in futility? If so, what made self-direction so frustrating? What freedom is found in living a divine-directed life? Can you see a clear connection between the restoration Jesus brings and the purpose Jesus gives you in your own life and work? Where do you see opportunities to live as a minister of reconciliation like Paul talks about in 2 Corinthians 5? Scripture Reading: John 21:1-19 1 After this Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias, and he revealed himself in this way. 2 Simon Peter, Thomas (called the Twin), Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together. 3 Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We will go with you." They went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing. 4 Just as day was breaking, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. 5 Jesus said to them, "Children, do you have any fish?" They answered him, "No." 6 He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish. 7 That disciple whom Jesus loved therefore said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment, for he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the sea. 8 The other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net full of fish, for they were not far from the land, but about a hundred yards off. 9 When they got out on land, they saw a charcoal fire in place, with fish laid out on it, and bread. 10 Jesus said to them, "Bring some of the fish that you have just caught." 11 So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net ashore, full of large fish, 153 of them. And although there were so many, the net was not torn. 12 Jesus said to them, "Come and have breakfast." Now none of the disciples dared ask him, "Who are you?" They knew it was the Lord. 13 Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and so with the fish. 14 This was now the third time that Jesus was revealed to the disciples after he was raised from the dead. 15 When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." He said to him, "Feed my lambs." 16 He said to him a second time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." He said to him, "Tend my sheep." 17 He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, "Do you love me?" and he said to him, "Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my sheep. 18 Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were young, you used to dress yourself and walk wherever you wanted, but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you do not want to go." 19 (This he said to show by what kind of death he was to glorify God.) And after saying this he said to him, "Follow me." Intro/Outro Song: "Only One" Nate Zuellig ULC Artist In Residence "Made For More" Bethel Music CCLI Song # 7207758 CCLI License # 11254293

May 10th | Made For More |Mark 2:1-12Pastor Todd Kaunitz continues the Made For More series with a powerful bonus sermon from Mark 2, reminding believers that every follower of Jesus has a role to play in the mission of God. Through the story of the paralytic and his four determined friends, this message challenges us to become people who will do whatever it takes to bring others to Jesus. In this episode, Pastor Todd explores what it means to carry the burdens of others, remove obstacles that keep people from Christ, and live with relentless faith that moves us into action. He unpacks the deeper truth that while people often come to Jesus with immediate needs, their greatest need is forgiveness and transformation that can only be found in Him.This sermon is a call for the Church to make room for the broken, pursue the “one more,” and never grow numb to the miracle of life change. Jesus still turns shame into stories of grace — and He still changes lives today.Do you know JESUS? https://www.nbgilmer.org/do-you-know-jesusNeed PRAYER? https://www.nbgilmer.org/praySupport through GIVING: https://www.nbbctx.org/giving

In this episode of finding grace I'm joined by Natasha Page is a multi-passionate entrepreneur, business coach, psychotherapist, mother, writer, and podcaster. Her boundless creativity, infectious energy, unwavering ambition, and belief in the law of attraction and manifestation drive her. Beneath these layers, she is compassionate, spiritual, a self-help and business book enthusiast, and her book with hay house “Believe you're made for more” will be out in January. In this episode you'll discover:What finding grace means to Natasha and how she relates to it.Natasha's journey to becoming a psychotherapist and coach began with her own struggles with low self-esteem and depression in her early twenties, which led her to seek therapy and ultimately inspired her career path. She emphasises the importance of self-compassion and understanding that actions taken during difficult times are often coping strategies, not reflections of one's true character.Natasha discusses the impact of neurodiversity on her life, sharing that she was diagnosed with dyslexia at university, which helped her understand her learning differences and past experiences. Her book, "Believe You're Made For More," was inspired by her love of self-development and manifestation books, but also by the realisation that low self-esteem can hinder the ability to manifest positive changes. The book is structured around seven steps: amplify awareness, understand your narrative, reject old stories, become your authentic self, develop self-acceptance, embrace progression, and awaken the higher self.Natasha believes that building self-esteem is foundational for personal growth and manifestation, as it enables individuals to believe they are worthy and capable of achieving their desires.Practical strategies discussed include raising awareness of self-talk, setting aside dedicated time for oneself, and establishing healthy boundaries to prevent burnout.Natasha highlights the value of “tiger time”, dedicated, scheduled blocks for focused work or creative projects, a concept she adopted from Amy Porterfield.Daily mindfulness practices for Natasha include evening meditation and moments of awareness in nature, which help her stay grounded and connected. Her parting wisdom for listeners: “Believe you're made for more”—a simple but powerful reminder to embrace self-worth and pursue one's potentialNatasha share all this and more.Do reach out to us to continue this conversation. If you want to work with Natasha, read her book and find out what's she's up too, you can find her:Instagram @natashapagemscWebsite www.natashapagemsc.comBuy her book here You can find me at : Watch my TEDx talk here Instagram @thehannahwallaceTwitter @hannahwallace_Face book @thehannahwallace Website www.hannah-wallace.com Sign up to my newsletter here Thank you so much for listening please share, subscribe and review it's greatly appreciated and I hope you find grace in your week ahead. || ABOUT THIS MESSAGE || This Sunday we continued in Week 2 of our Made For More series, with Pastor Emmanuel sharing about what it means to Reach. God calls us to make disciples, but sometimes that feels overwhelming. He reminded us that it is not about tactics or strategies first, but about understanding why reaching matters. At the center of it all is God's immense love for us, and for the world. When we get His heart, we naturally begin to use the influence and tools He has already given us to share Jesus. This message will encourage you to see the value God places on every person, and to love people in a way that leads them closer to Him.|| ABOUT BEACH CHURCH || We exist to reach, raise up, and release followers of Jesus who change the world. What if marriage was never just about two people but about something greater? This message unpacks God's design for marriage as a living picture of the Gospel, where love means sacrifice, submission points to trust, and two lives become one in Christ. Whether single or married, you'll see how God's ultimate love story transforms every relationship.
Work life harmony - doesn't that sound amazing!? It is, and it is totally possible - join this conversation to learn about the life, work, adventure and insight of Dr. Mary Leung! Dr. Mary Leung is a physician who is board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. She is also a certified life coach who is passionate about serving physicians who are stressed, overwhelmed and burned out. She is the co-author of the book “Made For More 2”, which was a bestseller on Amazon. Dr. Mary was working and charting after hours many nights and weekends until life coaching transformed her life. She is now going home at least 2.5 hours earlier than before, with all her clinical work completed for the day. From the depths of her own experience, Dr. Mary founded Shining With Gratitude MD. Her passion and mission is to guide other physicians through their unique situations — so they can feel better, have more time outside of their clinical work, regain control and have more clarity. Her hope is for physicians to rediscover joy in life and in medicine. Dr. Mary believes that if physicians can enjoy practicing medicine again, they can take better care of their patients. Through renewal, they can shine brighter for their families and all the lives they touch.
|| ABOUT THIS MESSAGE || Yesterday Pastor Jerry kicked off a brand new series called Made For More, a five week journey about why we exist and how we're called to live on mission for Jesus. It's not just about knowing the mission, it's about actually living it out. He talked about three different ways people approach the mission: some believe in it enough to benefit from it, some believe in it enough to follow it comfortably, but the real life change comes when you believe in it enough to give your life for it. That's the kind of mission we're called to. At Beach, that means reaching people with the love of Jesus, raising up followers who become more like Him, and releasing world changers into their God given purpose. Mission isn't something we do once in a while, it's a way of life, and Jesus invites us to live it every day as we go.|| ABOUT BEACH CHURCH || We exist to reach, raise up, and release followers of Jesus who change the world. You were never meant to settle for survival—you were made for more. Made For More is a powerful series walking through the book of Nehemiah, reminding us that God often breaks something in us before He rebuilds through us. Each week, we explore what it means to be Relevant—not just in name, but in how we respond to pain, pressure, and purpose. From praying through the pain to embracing divine burdens, we're learning that discomfort is often the birthplace of calling. This series also challenges us to make bold asks, rise above the noise, and stand firm in the face of spiritual battles. It's not just about what we're building—but who we're becoming in the process. If you've ever felt like there's more in you than what you're living, this series is your invitation to step into it.
