Join us as we dig deeper into last Sunday's sermon from Pastor Marcus Lane "The Gospel Stoned" and hear from Amy Duncan and Nate Zuellig on "Made For More". Digging Deeper Questions: Are there places in your life you notice self-righteousness getting in the way of coming to God in genuine repentance? Do you notice the connection between pride and an inability to receive instruction from God? Where is humility hardest for you? What makes a willingness to suffer mistreatment graciously and patiently so difficult? What promises reassure you in the face of suffering? Scripture Reading: Acts 7:44-60 44 "Our fathers had the tent of witness in the wilderness, just as he who spoke to Moses directed him to make it, according to the pattern that he had seen. 45 Our fathers in turn brought it in with Joshua when they dispossessed the nations that God drove out before our fathers. So it was until the days of David, 46 who found favor in the sight of God and asked to find a dwelling place for the God of Jacob. 47 But it was Solomon who built a house for him. 48 Yet the Most High does not dwell in houses made by hands, as the prophet says, 49 "'Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build for me, says the Lord, or what is the place of my rest? 50 Did not my hand make all these things?' 51 "You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. As your fathers did, so do you. 52 Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who announced beforehand the coming of the Righteous One, whom you have now betrayed and murdered, 53 you who received the law as delivered by angels and did not keep it." 54 Now when they heard these things they were enraged, and they ground their teeth at him. 55 But he, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. 56 And he said, "Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God." 57 But they cried out with a loud voice and stopped their ears and rushed together at him. 58 Then they cast him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their garments at the feet of a young man named Saul. 59 And as they were stoning Stephen, he called out, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit." 60 And falling to his knees he cried out with a loud voice, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them." And when he had said this, he fell asleep. Intro/Outro Song: "Only One" Nate Zuellig ULC Artist In Residence "Made For More" Bethel Music - Josh Baldwin CCLI Song # 7207758 CCLI License # 11254293

Before YOU could speak a word, something was already trying to end YOUR story. Not slow it down. End it. And the fact that YOU are here—reading this, breathing, still standing after everything that has tried to take YOU out—is evidence of something most people never stop to consider about their own survival.YOU were protected on purpose. Because YOU were made for more.Exodus 2:1–10 opens in one of the most dangerous seasons in the entire Bible—a moment when everything in the environment was designed to destroy the very thing God had already marked for greatness. And what happened to one particular life in the middle of that danger reveals something about YOUR life that will change the way YOU look at every close call YOU have ever survived. Here is what most people miss—the protection did not look like protection. It looked like abandonment. It looked like being placed in the exact path of the thing that was trying to kill it. What should have been the most vulnerable position possible became the safest place in the story. And the very system built to destroy this life ended up funding it, raising it, and positioning it for the assignment it was born to carry. What tried to bury YOU was never able to.There is a specific detail in this passage about who ended up caring for this child—and where—that is so unexpected, so precisely arranged, that no human being could have orchestrated it. Most people read past it. But when YOU understand what it reveals about how God positions the people He has made for more, YOU will never look at the strange turns of YOUR own life the same way again.YOU are not here by accident. There is also something in these verses about the timing of it all—the exact moment help arrived, the exact place it came from, the exact person who showed up—that reveals how deliberately YOUR steps have been ordered, even in the seasons YOU thought YOU were on YOUR own.Press play—because MADE FOR MORE is not a slogan. It is the reason YOU survived what YOU survived. And this message will show YOU exactly what that protection was always preparing YOU for.

Join us as we dig deeper into last Sunday's sermon from Pastor Marcus Lane "Peter" and hear from Amy Duncan and Nate Zuellig on "Made For More". Digging Deeper Questions: Have you experienced instances where living a self-directed life feels like spinning your wheels in futility? If so, what made self-direction so frustrating? What freedom is found in living a divine-directed life? Can you see a clear connection between the restoration Jesus brings and the purpose Jesus gives you in your own life and work? Where do you see opportunities to live as a minister of reconciliation like Paul talks about in 2 Corinthians 5? Scripture Reading: John 21:1-19 1 After this Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias, and he revealed himself in this way. 2 Simon Peter, Thomas (called the Twin), Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together. 3 Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We will go with you." They went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing. 4 Just as day was breaking, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. 5 Jesus said to them, "Children, do you have any fish?" They answered him, "No." 6 He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish. 7 That disciple whom Jesus loved therefore said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment, for he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the sea. 8 The other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net full of fish, for they were not far from the land, but about a hundred yards off. 9 When they got out on land, they saw a charcoal fire in place, with fish laid out on it, and bread. 10 Jesus said to them, "Bring some of the fish that you have just caught." 11 So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net ashore, full of large fish, 153 of them. And although there were so many, the net was not torn. 12 Jesus said to them, "Come and have breakfast." Now none of the disciples dared ask him, "Who are you?" They knew it was the Lord. 13 Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and so with the fish. 14 This was now the third time that Jesus was revealed to the disciples after he was raised from the dead. 15 When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." He said to him, "Feed my lambs." 16 He said to him a second time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." He said to him, "Tend my sheep." 17 He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, "Do you love me?" and he said to him, "Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my sheep. 18 Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were young, you used to dress yourself and walk wherever you wanted, but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you and carry you where you do not want to go." 19 (This he said to show by what kind of death he was to glorify God.) And after saying this he said to him, "Follow me." Intro/Outro Song: "Only One" Nate Zuellig ULC Artist In Residence "Made For More" Bethel Music CCLI Song # 7207758 CCLI License # 11254293

May 10th | Made For More |Mark 2:1-12Pastor Todd Kaunitz continues the Made For More series with a powerful bonus sermon from Mark 2, reminding believers that every follower of Jesus has a role to play in the mission of God. Through the story of the paralytic and his four determined friends, this message challenges us to become people who will do whatever it takes to bring others to Jesus. In this episode, Pastor Todd explores what it means to carry the burdens of others, remove obstacles that keep people from Christ, and live with relentless faith that moves us into action. He unpacks the deeper truth that while people often come to Jesus with immediate needs, their greatest need is forgiveness and transformation that can only be found in Him.This sermon is a call for the Church to make room for the broken, pursue the “one more,” and never grow numb to the miracle of life change. Jesus still turns shame into stories of grace — and He still changes lives today.Do you know JESUS? https://www.nbgilmer.org/do-you-know-jesusNeed PRAYER? https://www.nbgilmer.org/praySupport through GIVING: https://www.nbbctx.org/giving

In this episode of finding grace I'm joined by Natasha Page is a multi-passionate entrepreneur, business coach, psychotherapist, mother, writer, and podcaster. Her boundless creativity, infectious energy, unwavering ambition, and belief in the law of attraction and manifestation drive her. Beneath these layers, she is compassionate, spiritual, a self-help and business book enthusiast, and her book with hay house “Believe you're made for more” will be out in January. In this episode you'll discover:What finding grace means to Natasha and how she relates to it.Natasha's journey to becoming a psychotherapist and coach began with her own struggles with low self-esteem and depression in her early twenties, which led her to seek therapy and ultimately inspired her career path. She emphasises the importance of self-compassion and understanding that actions taken during difficult times are often coping strategies, not reflections of one's true character.Natasha discusses the impact of neurodiversity on her life, sharing that she was diagnosed with dyslexia at university, which helped her understand her learning differences and past experiences. Her book, "Believe You're Made For More," was inspired by her love of self-development and manifestation books, but also by the realisation that low self-esteem can hinder the ability to manifest positive changes. The book is structured around seven steps: amplify awareness, understand your narrative, reject old stories, become your authentic self, develop self-acceptance, embrace progression, and awaken the higher self.Natasha believes that building self-esteem is foundational for personal growth and manifestation, as it enables individuals to believe they are worthy and capable of achieving their desires.Practical strategies discussed include raising awareness of self-talk, setting aside dedicated time for oneself, and establishing healthy boundaries to prevent burnout.Natasha highlights the value of “tiger time”, dedicated, scheduled blocks for focused work or creative projects, a concept she adopted from Amy Porterfield.Daily mindfulness practices for Natasha include evening meditation and moments of awareness in nature, which help her stay grounded and connected. Her parting wisdom for listeners: “Believe you're made for more”—a simple but powerful reminder to embrace self-worth and pursue one's potentialNatasha share all this and more.Do reach out to us to continue this conversation. If you want to work with Natasha, read her book and find out what's she's up too, you can find her:Instagram @natashapagemscWebsite www.natashapagemsc.comBuy her book here You can find me at : Watch my TEDx talk here Instagram @thehannahwallaceTwitter @hannahwallace_Face book @thehannahwallace Website www.hannah-wallace.com Sign up to my newsletter here Thank you so much for listening please share, subscribe and review it's greatly appreciated and I hope you find grace in your week ahead. This week's focus reminds us that God's purpose isn't only discovered in the big, life-changing moments—it's found in our everyday faithfulness. The small acts of kindness, the unnoticed service, the steady love we show to others… all of it matters deeply to God.
Angie Addy brings the final message in our Made For More series with Purpose in Community. She'll remind us that God designed us to live out our purpose together—building one another up, multiplying our impact, and reflecting Jesus to the world.
