It's not that the church has a mission; it's that God's mission has a church, and we're called to grow into the fullness of Christ together.

When Henry King Fong was born in Sacramento, his immigrant father was already 58 and his straight-from-the-village mother was 48. Henry was the youngest of five and was only two years old when his father died. Their family was quite poor, but his mother made every penny count. Henry eventually graduated from UC Berkeley with an engineering degree, and went to work designing rockets. Even after he got married and became the father of their two sons, a part of him still had a deep yearning to know who his father was. Which is why he began to search high and low for the essential missing pieces of his dad's life-puzzle. As a result, Henry became the Fong family's historian. My late father was Uncle Henry's oldest brother, so I grew up spending a good amount of time with my uncle and his family. But it really wasn't till I began to spend more time back in Sacramento that we really got to know each other as adults. Uncle Henry turned 96 this past July, so I was determined to make a recording of what he's come to know about my grandfather whom I never knew.

Bad weekend for Kings fans and Niner fans as there was a series of injuries that happened.First it was announced Sunday morning that Keegan had torn the UCL on his left thumb and needs surgery which would sideline him for 4-6 weeks. With the Kings lack of depth at the wing position, there will be a gargantuan void at that position for the Kings to start the season.And if the Keegan news wasn't already a punch in the face, if you were a Niner fan you kicked right in knads when in the first quarter Fred Warner dislocated his ankle and will be out for the season. Kings lose their 2nd preseason game in Portland. Kyna Fong, Co-Founder and CEO of Elation Health, is developing AI tools that prioritize patient care and automate documentation and referrals to help alleviate physician burnout and improve the patient-provider relationship. Kyna emphasizes the critical role of interoperability in effective primary care, enabling primary care physicians to coordinate care. She also noted the recent White House initiative on interoperability, which encouraged the private sector to cooperate in data-sharing initiatives, now that AI can be used to overcome technical issues of data integration and analysis.  Kyna explains, "Clinical-first is not new for Elation. It's actually our founding product philosophy. When we first started building Elation, what we observed was that so many tools that were built for physicians to use and their electronic health records were very much oriented around billing needs and, in a lot of ways, followed a billing-first philosophy. And so we created Elation to really focus on clinical first, which means putting patient care first and foremost."   "The way that we are approaching AI is as a tool. It's a tool in our toolkit. On the 26th edition of First Concert Memories, we go back to 1986 to hear the story of one young rock fan's first ever Van Halen concert.
