  Greetings! This is an Introduction to the Promises made to St. Bridget - the following Episode (53) will contain the prayers. Saint Bridget prayed for a long time to know how many blows Our Lord suffered during His terrible Passion. Rewarding her patience, one day He appeared to her and said: "I received 5475 blows upon My Body. If you wish to honor them in some way, recite fifteen Our Fathers and fifteen Hail Marys with the following Prayers, which I Myself shall teach you, for an entire year. When the year is finished, you will have honored each of My Wounds." Whoever recites these Prayers will attain in the first degree of perfection.  15 days before his death I will give him My Precious Body in order that he may escape eternal starvation; I will give him My Precious Blood to drink lest he thirst eternally. 15 days before his death he will feel a deep contrition for all his sins and will have a perfect knowledge of them. I will place before him the sign of My Victorious Cross for his help and defense against the attacks of his enemies. Before his death I shall come with My Dearest Beloved Mother. I shall graciously receive his soul, and will lead it into eternal joys. And having led it there I shall give him a special draught from the fountain of My Deity, something I will not for those who have not recited My Prayers. Let it be known that whoever may have been living in the state of mortal sin for 30 years, but who will recite devoutly, or have the intention to recite these Prayers, the Lord will forgive him all his sins. He will obtain all he asks for from God and the Blessed Virgin. If he has lived all his life doing his own will and he is to die the next day, his life will be prolonged. Whoever teaches these Prayers to another, will have continuous joy and merit which will endure eternally. Here is SHOW #56 - "20TH ANNIVERSARY OF 911." This is one of the toughest podcast shows that I have done to date. Initially, I was very hesitant to do this show yet as I saw all the special memorials this morning in New York City (Twin Towers site), Pennsylvania, and Arlington, VA (Pentagon site) for the victims of 911, I remembered EXACTLY what I was doing when these tragic events happened on September 11, 2001! I'm sure you remember too where you were when you heard the news! In 2001, I was a Federal employee working for the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland and living in the metropolitan area of Washington, DC -- our nations Capitol with my wife and three young kids. In this podcast, I share my personal feelings on what it was like to live through this event as a young professional working for the federal government in Washington, DC! It was scary, uneasy, tense, yet a sense of PRIDE working for the government and the people of the United States. There was no doubt at that time in 2001, lots of folks of all backgrounds worked harder to get along at least at my federal job at NIH and in the community my family and l lived - Frederick, Maryland! My PRAYERS and THOUGHTS goes to all the LIVES LOST during these tragic events. In addition, this podcast is for all the younger listeners and COLLEGE STUDENTS who were too young to experience it or who were not born yet. It is time for ALL OF US to GET ALONG TOGETHER again! In view of the threat posed by the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), the district administration of Sivasagar has banned all kinds of public functions in the district from March 14 onwards.As per a notification, in pursuance of a video conference held on March 13, 2020, on Corona Virus with the Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam, all functions like public meetings, Nam Kirtan, Bhaona, Geeta Path etc are hereby banned with immediate effect until further order. Government of India has announced to treat coronavirus as “notified disaster.” On that front, Government has announced Ex-Gratia payment to families of deceased persons.“ Rs 4.00 lakh per deceased including those involved in relief operations or associated in response activities, subject to certification regarding cause of death from appropriate authority,” the notification states. So far two deaths have occurred in India from coronavirus. More than 80 people have been infected from the virus. Amid falling crude oil prices around the world, the Government of India has announced a hike on excise duty on petrol and diesel by Rs 3 per litre on Saturday.The intention is to build revenue amid falling crude oil prices, claim reports.Special excise duty on petrol increased by Rs 2 to Rs 8 and in case of diesel to Rs 4. Five people suspected to be infected with coronavirus escaped from isolation wards of Mayo Hospital in Nagpur.S Suryavanshi, Sub-Inspector, Nagpur Tehsil police station said “One of them had tested negative, reports of other four were awaited. We have traced them and they will be brought back to the hospital by the administration…The five suspects left the hospital and to inspect the matter, I visited the hospital. I learned that the suspects left the ward for snacks but didn't return… Since it is a sensitive issue, we are coordinating with the staff of Mayo hospital.” Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has said that all theatres, gyms and swimming pools in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Nagpur, Pimpri Chinchwad will be shut until March 30 due to coronavirus scare.
