The short-term replacement was Evander Holyfield. The athletic commission in Vegas wouldn't authorize him to step foot in the ring so Triller moved the entire event to Florida where the athletic commission apparently couldn't care. less for anyone's health, much like the Floridian Government has behaved in the wake of the COVID Pandemic. The event was held on Saturday night, September 11, 2021 from the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood, Florida, not far from Triller Fight Club's Tampa location. Prelims started at 6PM ET, and the main card began around 7PM ET. This Sun. night, June 6th, a great number of people purchased the $49.99 USD “BRAGGING RIGHTS” PPV showdown from SHOWTIME, with a main event showcasing the undefeated & retired Hall of Fame, 5-division Champ: boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather, returning to the ring for the 1st time in nearly 4 years to face social media giant, YouTuber/Boxer(?), Logan Paul, in an 8-Rd special exhibition match – where the rules were basically made up & the points didn't matter. The event streamed live from the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL- complete with rain! In the co-main event, Badou Jack (23-3-3, 13 KO) faced-off against replacement opponent Dervin Colina. Jack was supposed to fight Jean Pascal, who tested positive for 3 different steroids as well as EPO ahead of the bout & was removed. Also in action, was former NFL All-Pro star wide receiver, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, as he made his debut against Brian Maxwell in an additional exhibition bout, which opened the PPV event. The exhibition match once again highlighted the huge disparity in fighter pay between boxing & MMA.
