Le main event de l'UFC on ESPN+70 était le combat entre Viviane Araujo et Alexa Grasso. Certes, ce pouvait être intéressant pour la catégorie des mouches féminines. On vous résumé bien sûr cette carte mais le vrai event que tous les fans attendent, c'est l'UFC 280 à Abu Dhabi le samedi 22 octobre. La carte est dantesque avec 2 championnats du monde. Islam Makhachev va essayer de détrôner Charles Oliveira. Deux conceptions du combat au sol, deux winning streak de dingue, deux chocs dont le monde s'est mis à rêver. En co-main event, le revenant et challenger des 135 lbs, TJ Dillashaw (suspendu 2 ans pour usage d'EPO) va tenter lui de battre Aljamain Sterling. Duel haut en skills et en couleurs. L'inimité est là entre les deux hommes. Un combat qui sera regardé par Petr Yan. L'ancien champion de la division des bantam sera opposé lui (et de manière très surprenante) à Sean O'Malley. "Suga" a décroché la timbale avec ce matchmaking. Il clame qu'il peut out-classé le Russe. On n'oublie pas la Française, Manon Fiorot qui aura à coeur de faire sauter Katlyn Chookagian. Cette affiche devait se produire à Paris le 3 septembre dernier mais en raison de blessure, elle a été déplacée sur cette carte d'anthologie. The co-main event tonight was an entertaining brawl between LHWs Ryan ‘Superman' Spann & Ion ‘The Hulk' Cutelaba. The former Legacy Fighting Alliance LHW champ, Spann, walked away with a POTN Bonus. There were nine other bouts on the card, which included some exciting finishes. The most noteworthy, outside of the main event, occurred when the number one flyweight contender, Katlyn Chookagian & her worthy opponent, Amanda Ribas put on their FOTN performance. The 'DWCS' alum, Manuel Torres, also walked away with a bonus tonight for his impressive Right Hook KO victory over Frank Camacho in the first round; establishing himself as a worthy Lightweight prospect in his UFC debut performance. Also on the card, we had a highly-anticipated Welterweight rematch between ‘Ruthless' Robbie Lawler, who was on a 4-fight losing skid & the returning Nick Diaz who has not fought professionally since Jan., 2015, when he had a no contest bout against Anderson Silva at UFC 183. Lawler first fought Diaz waayyy back at UFC 47 in 2004, which was headlined by the 1st ever fight between Chuck Liddell & Tito Ortiz. The first Lawler vs Diaz bout ended up resulting in a Diaz victory - via Punches in the 2nd rd.
