The Arishok informs Hawke that there was a theft. Someone stole what they thought was the formula for explosive gaatlock powder but it was switched out with the formula for a poisonous gas. After a long trek through a smuggler's cave, Hawke confronts the obvious thief, Javaris, only to discover he's the fall guy and the real thief is an elf woman. Back to Lowtown Hawke goes to find a side alley covered in a green gas. After some fighting and closing off the gas barrels, Hawke comes face to face with the real thief and learns more about her motivations. Once all is done, Hawke returns to the Arishok to deliver the news–and to be given further insight into the Qunari occupation. Remember our pal Javaris? He offered us money if we went out of our way to kill some Tal Vashoth, qunari who abandoned the qun to kill for their own glory. According to him, if we, including our guest Troytlepower, kill the Tal Vashoth, the Arishok who leads the qunari who have been stranded in Kirkwall will share the ultra sacred super secret formula to create gatlock powder, an explosive material that only the Qunari know how to make. There's a bounty out to find the missing son of Kirkwall's viscount. What a better way to earn some gold and rise in the estimation of the nobility Hawke should have been part of? Too bad Hawke isn't first to the party. The Winters already have a lead, but they don't seem the type of people to talk things out. With the blessing of the Seneschal, Hawke can intervene and try to bring Saemus home safely. Upon arrival, it's too late to prevent the murder of the Qunari blamed for Saemus's disappearance, but it's not too late to protect Seamus from the people who killed his friend. In today's Daily Fix: The latest Dragon Age got a new trailer—and a new title—but fans still had questions as to how customizable their characters can be. According to developer BioWare's Michael Gamble, you'll be able to play as an Elf, Dwarf, or Qunari (and of course a human). In other news, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's single-player character will need a constant internet connection. Activision explains that this is to help stream the game's high-quality textures, instead of installing them to your hard drive (this is done to preserve storage space). You will also not need a premium subscription service like Game Pass or PlayStation Plus, just a high-speed internet connection. And finally, Obsidian accidentally revealed the release date for their highly-anticipated RPG, Avowed, then deleted the webpage (but not before we managed to screen capture it!).

This week, we continue our coverage of Dragon Age 2 by moving on to Chapter 2. Hawke and company have hit it big after three years of living in Kirkwall, but the city's problems are only getting worse. We spend this chapter navigating a difficult political and ethical conflict with the Qunari, whose presence is causing even more unrest than Kirkwall is used to.

In this episode we take a look at the video game Dragon Age and how we can use it for DnD. Specifically we look at the Qun, and discuss creating Theocracies but that quickly devolves into us creating a really cool group, based on some of the ideas of the Qun. Dragon Age is here! Dragon Age is Queer! Get over it! Yeah, it ain't just Zevran who can get man-on-man action in Dragon Age! And he's not the only gay character either!Bears In Games tackles the important subject of Dragon Age this week. It's true, there is gay banging in Dragon Age, involving elves, dwarves, humans, Qunari, you name it! But that's not the only reason a lover of the bearish type should purchase the game; for one thing, it's Dwarf character model is pretty damned hot. And you can make everyone in your party through off their clothes and go adventuring in just a jock strap. So we start off by having a look at the character creator, which honestly has some of the best options for creating a hot character that we've seen. Perhaps second only to Saints Row 2. Then we take this Dwarf adventuring, and see how much better the cut scenes are once you remove the clothing. (The answer? Infinitely better. Particularly when your father notes how great you look "in your great grandfather's armor.") Finally we finish with Kevin the Dwarf, Johnny's custom character, based on a heterosexual friend of John's, as he breaks hearts across Ferelden.
