The Joint Readiness Training Center is pleased to present the one-hundredth-and-sixtieth episode to air on ‘The Crucible - The JRTC Experience.' Hosted by CSM James Miller, the Command Sergeant Major of 1-509th IN (OPFOR), known as Geronimo, on behalf of the Commander of Operations Group. Today's guests are subject matter experts on all things defense within Geronimo's Baker Company: 1SG Larson Palsis, the Baker Co First Sergeant; SFC Woodroof Musser, Platoon Sergeant for 1st PLT; and SSG Joseph DuBrul, Squad Leader for 2nd SQD, 1st PLT. This episode examines the art and science of conducting a successful defense against a peer threat, using Geronimo's defensive operations as a framework for discussing proven tactics, techniques, and procedures. The conversation centers on the doctrinal characteristics of the defense—disruption, mass and concentration, security, preparation, flexibility, maneuver, and operations in depth—and how these concepts are applied on a modern battlefield. Leaders discuss the importance of engagement area development, obstacle integration, reconnaissance, early warning systems, and synchronizing direct and indirect fires to create multiple dilemmas for attacking forces. A recurring theme is that successful defenses are not passive. Rather, they are active, intelligence-driven operations designed to disrupt enemy tempo, attrit combat power, and set the conditions for a future counterattack. The episode also highlights common shortcomings observed among rotational units, particularly in the areas of preparation, time management, communication, and defensive planning. Leaders stress that units often rush through defensive operations after focusing heavily on offensive tasks, resulting in poorly developed engagement areas, inadequate rehearsals, and limited flexibility once contact is made. The discussion reinforces the importance of reconnaissance, reporting, and maintaining a shared understanding across all echelons so commanders can make timely decisions and properly position forces. Additional insights include the value of counterattacks, defense in depth, reserve employment, and building multiple branches and sequels into the plan. Ultimately, the episode argues that the best defensive formations are those that master the fundamentals, aggressively prepare positions, rehearse actions, and continuously adapt faster than the enemy can react. Part of S11 “Conversations with the Enemy” series.

This week on the podcast, an Empire (don't sue) is Striking Back (please don't sue)—because we're watching the Uchū Sentai Kyuranger movie "The Geth Indaver's Counterattack"! Can you really just get away with calling it the Geth Star? What's the deal with Space Wrestling? And... have we... seen this? The answers to these questions (and more!) await, on this episode of the Ranger Danger Kyuranger podcast!
#GundamHathaway #HathawayFlash #MobileSuitGundam #SorceryofNymphCirce #CharsCounterattack The Gundam Hathaway movies lowkey ask alot of the audience in terms of understanding its story. By itself, this second movie presumes you not only watched the first film but you also have an understanding of the UC stories particularly the film, Char's Counterattack, which heavily factors into the continuing story of Hathaway Noa. Overall, Sorcery of Nymph Circe is a solid 2nd entry leading into the 3rd act of Hathaway Noa and his mission to take down the Earth Federation. Solid visuals and even the music choices do a great job of immersing you into the story of Hathaway, Kenneth, & GiGi's character progression.
Ep 601 - ICBC: A Unique Insurance Provider Guest: Jason McDaniel, CEO of ICBC By Stuart McNish “The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia [ICBC] is a unique auto insurance provider,” says Jason McDaniel, the President and CEO of ICBC. “We are the only organization that supplies mandatory basic coverage to all vehicles.” That blanket coverage positions ICBC to act as much more than just an insurance provider. “Our mandate includes improving motoring safety in the province through the CounterAttack roadblocks, intersection improvements, the introduction of seatbelt, and baby seats law,” continues McDaniel. Created in 1973 under the government of Dave Barrett, the Crown Corporation was a political hot-button issue. In the 1980s, Social Credit Party leader Bill Bennett campaigned on abolishing the insurance company. Gordon Campbell also campaigned to abolish ICBC. Neither shut down the corporation; however, Campbell's government changed the rules to allow competition on optional insurance. In May of 2021, ICBC announced its “Enhanced Care” no-fault insurance system. The program was presented as a way of removing litigation from insurance claims, speeding up payment of compensation, and it changed the settlement equation. We invited Jason McDaniel, the President and CEO of ICBC, to join us for a Conversation That Matters about delivering appropriate auto insurance, improving road safety, and financial stability to the Crown Corporation. Send us Fan MailThere's a point in every battle where you've stabilized after the first hit and you finally have space to choose your next move. That's the moment we focus on here: shifting from being acted upon to acting with spiritual agency. If you've ever felt like a negative habit, an anxious thought loop, or a dull “I'm fine” season keeps pulling you away from God, this episode will show you what's happening and give you a path forward. We unpack how entrenched sin and negative spiritual strongholds form as prisons in layers over time. It often starts small with intrusive thoughts, then turns into entertained ideas, repeated mental rehearsals, and behaviors that break your own moral code. The most dangerous layer is the identity lie: “This is just who I am.” We walk through real-world examples including anxiety that stops you before the first step, hidden habits that turn into dependence, and spiritual apathy that quietly drains desire and discipline. Then everything pivots to hope in Jesus Christ. Strongholds feel permanent, but they aren't. We share a six-step counteroffensive strategy for overcoming sin and breaking negative beliefs: identify the target, expose the lie, replace it with truth, interrupt the pattern, build a new pattern through consistent habits, and invoke covenant power through worship and spiritual support. If you want practical repentance, Christian mindset help, and a clear plan for addiction recovery and spiritual growth, this is for you.Subscribe so you never miss what comes next, share this with someone who needs a reset, and leave a five-star review to help more people find the show.Support the showYou can reach me anytime at email: tandrewsen.monat@gmail.comInstagram @toddtalks_ig

The prosecution is laying out its case against Kouri Richins—and the evidence spans fentanyl purchases, life insurance fraud, and a relationship with another man that allegedly motivated murder.Carmen Lauber, the former housekeeper who prosecutors say procured the drugs that killed Eric Richins, delivered key testimony under immunity deals. She told jurors Kouri requested drugs four times in early 2022, with each purchase allegedly stronger than the last. When Lauber informed Kouri the final batch was fentanyl, Kouri allegedly approved the transaction. Cash was left in houses Kouri was flipping. Pills were exchanged through a firepit.Three days after Eric's death, according to Lauber, Kouri texted asking about the drug connection again—and paid with a check labeled as construction cleaning. The forensic evidence supports the prosecution's theory. A toxicologist confirmed Eric had five times the lethal dose of illicit fentanyl in his system. No hydrocodone was detected. Prosecutors have also presented Eric's alleged warning to a friend two weeks before he died: "I think my wife is trying to poison me." That statement followed a Valentine's Day sandwich that caused hives severe enough to need an EpiPen.Kouri's internet search history allegedly included "what is a lethal dose of fentanyl" before Eric died and "can cops uncover deleted messages iPhone" afterward. Prosecutors showed the jury text messages Kouri sent to a boyfriend, including: "If he could just go away and you could just be here, life would be so perfect." A Caribbean vacation with that boyfriend was already booked—scheduled for the month after Eric's death.Defense attorney Wendy Lewis attacked Lauber's credibility, highlighting her methamphetamine use, inconsistent statements about the drugs requested, and a recording where an investigator told Lauber to help ensure conviction.Kouri Richins has pleaded not guilty and maintains her innocence.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Dale and Christophe discuss the February 1942 Battle of Badung ("Bong/Barong") Strait in the Netherlands East Indies, framing it within Japan's rapid early-Pacific-War offensives after Pearl Harbor and the sinking of HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Repulse, and Japan's drive to seize oil and strategic airfields. They explain ABDA Command under Dutch Rear Admiral Karel Doorman as a multinational, unevenly coordinated force facing Japanese air superiority, refined night-fighting doctrine, and Type 93 “Long Lance” torpedoes. Japan lands troops from the 48th Infantry Division on Bali on February 19 and moves to secure Denpasar airfield, prompting Allied surface counterattacks in confined waters. U.S. Clemson-class destroyers fire torpedoes without confirmed hits and withdraw; Dutch cruisers De Ruyter and Java with destroyers fight Japanese escorts, suffer damage, evade torpedoes, and also withdraw, leaving Bali secured and foreshadowing the Battle of the Java Sea. The episode closes honoring Medal of Honor recipient PFC Charles N. DeGlopper (killed June 9, 1944, near La Fière, France).
Max Hastings reports that conflicting orders and the absence of General Rommel paralyzed the 21st Panzer Division, delaying a decisive counterattack against Allied forces until the British armor landed. 10.1944 SWORD
Hello, Kaiju Lovers! “Godzilla Redux” kicks off with not one but two “gatekeepers” in the kaiju fandom: Jack “GMan” Hudgens and Elijah Thomas (Kaiju Conversation). They along with Nate spend nearly four hours(!) talking about why they effing love the final Showa series film, Terror of Mechagodzilla. It was Nate and Elijah's first G-film and is one of Jack's perennial favorites. While many regard it as Ishiro Honda's weakest Godzilla film and barely give it more credit than the rest of the 1970s G-films, your hosts unpack a laundry list of deep themes and potent symbols. They sing the praises of the wonderful script by Yukiko Takayama (the only woman to write a full Godzilla screenplay), the exciting explosions of Teruyoshi Nakano (who considered this some of his best work), the grossly underrated kaiju Titanosaurus, and the nuanced performance of Akihiko Hirata as Dr. Mafune, among many other things. No stone is left unturned in this epic discussion! Then in the most entertaining Patreon shout-outs segment ever of all time, a certain Mr. Trump (by way of Elijah) appears…. In this episode of RattlerGator Report, JB White opens with the cultural fallout from the Super Bowl halftime show, breaking down the ratings collapse, media backlash, and what he sees as a widening disconnect between institutional messaging and the American public. He examines the reaction cycle, the outrage economy, and why legacy platforms continue to miscalculate cultural momentum. The conversation then expands into global finance and geopolitical positioning, including IMF leverage, Treasury maneuvering, tariff strategy, tech infrastructure, and what JB frames as a long-built strategic “scaffolding” taking shape. He connects Bitcoin volatility, UK censorship developments, and shifting power centers into a broader narrative of structural realignment, arguing that recent moves across finance, media, and governance point to coordinated counterpressure against entrenched global systems.

THE OCTOPUS STRATEGY: IRAN'S PROXIES AND ISRAEL'S COUNTERATTACK Colleague Seth Frantzman. Frantzman employs the "octopus" metaphor to describe Iran as the central brain directing proxies like Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis to encircle Israel. He details Hamas's October 7 strategy: massacre civilians, seize hostages, and retreat to human shields and tunnels to await international pressure on Israel. The conversation outlines the IDF's counter-strategy, which involved cutting Gaza in half via the Netzarim corridor and systematically clearing areas from north to south. Frantzman notes the extensive tunnel network discovered in Khan Yunis, which served as a learning ground for IDF anti-tunnel operations. OCTOBER 7 WAR BY SETH FRANTZMAN NUMBER 31868 NAZARETH

We begin by discussing President Trump's call to end the filibuster and under which circumstances it would make sense to do so. Next, as we watch Islamists gain more control over our politics, we need a plan to counterattack against the Muslim Brotherhood influence and creeping Sharia. We're joined today by Chris Holton of the Center for Security Policy, who has been fighting to keep Sharia law out of our courts. He is focused on red-state initiatives to ensure that Sharia law is banned from family court and that when Islamic practices conflict with American law, they are not recognized. We also discuss the need for state attorneys general to gather evidence tying the major Islamic organizations building mosques and community infrastructure to terror finance so that we can finally dismantle their illicit networks funding subversion in the country. We're nearing the end of our third season of Chronological Clone Wars, and truth be told neither one of us remembered much about this arc prior to our rewatch. But afterwards, we were shocked at how much very important info comes from these episodes, including the some serious characterization for Captain Tarkin outside of the movies, and the "death" of Echo.
