Wilma dedica seu programa de rádio hoje para falar sobre a RPCC - Refinaria Potiguar Clara Camarão - "um sonho dos norteriograndenses que começa a virar realidade" conforme ela diz. Ela visitou as obras há alguns dias onde pode constatar a pujança do empreendimento. Recebida carinhosamente pelos diretores da petrobras, da empresa construtora e, principalmente, pelos trabalhadores, 90% de potiguares, que expressaram imensa gratidão pelas oportunidades de trabalho e renda para toda a região em face do verdadeiro pólo industrial que se forma na região central do estado, Wilma também constatou que o cronograma previsto está sendo fielmente cumprido e as obras já ultrapassaram os 50% de execução, o que permitirá o início de operações nos primeiros meses do próximo ano. Ela soube, ainda, que o plano inicial da refinaria já foi ampliado, mesmo antes da sua conclusão. Agora, a refinaria terá como objetivo de mercado suprir todo o nordeste setentrional, ou seja, além do Rio Grande do Norte, os estados da Paraíba, Pernambuco, Ceará e Piauí, com todos os produtos que integram a sua cadeia de refino: gasolina, diesel, querosene de aviação, gás de cozinha e biodiesel. A nossa RPCC exportará, também, para a Bahia um subproduto para petroquímica, a nafta. A mesma que planeja-se processar futuramente em solo potiguar quando, na sequência da refinaria, pudermos consolidar um pólo petroquímico com a vinda para cá de inúmeras indústrias de segunda e terceira gerações interessadas em aproveitar nossas matérias primas para a produção de resinas plásticas de importância estratégica para os mercados nacional e internacional. "Esta será nossa próxima grande luta”, afirmou Wilma, ao destacar que a petroquímica será a consolidação do nosso Estado como um grande pólo econômico industrial, estratégico para o país e principalmente para nossa população que terá, certamente, a tão merecida redenção econômica e social. Por fim, Wilma aproveitou a visita para registrar seu apelo para que a Petrobras possa realizar estudos que indiquem os reais impactos econômicos e sociais do empreendimento no Estado e possa atuar junto com parceiros como o SINE, SENAI, SEBRAE, Governo do Estado e Prefeituras para realizar uma grande mobilização visando ao máximo aproveitamento local para oportunidades de emprego, negócios e renda, com o advento da refinaria.
