SBS Nepali was recently in Shepparton, a regional city in northern Victoria located about two-and-a-half hours' drive from Melbourne's CBD, as part of an SBS Audio visit with the multicultural local communities on Friday, 12 June 2026. Community members told SBS Nepali that Shepparton has increasingly become a preferred destination for Nepali-speaking migrants in recent years.
