Liam McNeeley is officially OUT for DePaul, and Hurley didn't sound convinced his team has weathered the storm without him. The complete audiobook is available for purchase at Audible.com: https://n9.cl/pc828 Such Is Life Being Certain Extracts from the Diary of Tom Collins By Tom Collins (Joseph Furphy) Narrated by Gregory Dwyer This work is a collection of fictional observations by the narrator as he travels around the countryside of southern New South Wales and Victoria in the 1880s. He presents the life of the various rural dwellers, including bullock drivers, squatters and itinerant travelers, and also attempts to convey the accents of Irish, Scottish and Chinese personalities he encounters. This tale provides insight into the stories and hardships of rural dwellers in Australia in the latter half of the nineteenth century, as well as the narrator's own philosophy of life. The original huge manuscript (1897) of Such Is Life, Being Certain Extracts from the Diary of Tom Collins, was sent to A. G. Stephens of the Bulletin. Stephens realised the merit of the text but knew it was impracticable to publish, so returned it to Furphy. Parts of the text were released in various forms, but the first complete edition was not published until 1946. Joseph Furphy, however, had died at Claremont on 13th of September 1912.

Alex and Facci are back for another podcast episode! Today, the guys answer YOUR questions for the month of October! Thanks to our awesome listeners for their questions! 1). Michael Lucas  Do you think Mathurin plays a Jamal Crawford like 6th man? Average 30+minutes and closing out the game instead of Nesmith? Or does he run primarily with 2nd unit and Average 20-24 minutes. I don't see him starting over Nesmith. He'd be 1st option 2nd unit. 3-4th option 1st unit. IMO 2). Randall Wood With the current roster, which position is the weakest in your opinion? 3). Matthew Peck With the loss of Jalen Smith, our overall rebounding could take somewhat of a hit. Do you feel that the combination of I Jax & Wiseman can make up what Smith brought? He only got 5.5 rebounds a game but his Per 36 was 11.6 How can team improve it's overall rebounding as well? 4). Ricky Kelley Whats your thoughts on not having new jerseys, after we wore Gold for every single playoff game! It seemed like they were done with our jerseys! But i guess not 5). Christopher Lloyd Thanks for the great podcast guys, stoked for this season! Love what Aaron Nesmith brings to the game, but let's be real: he's better suited as a bench guy. Who do you think is most likely to challenge him for the starting spot: Jarace, Sheppard, Furphy or somebody else? 6). Aaron M What are the odds that Wiseman takes Jackson's minutes at center by the end of the season? I just have a feeling he's better than he's been able to showcase elsewhere.    It's debate night in America and CNN can't wait to be the network that silences Donald Trump by cutting off his microphone.  But it's deeper than that as they are hoping he still talks and you can't hear him.  I'll explain why they think this would be so powerful to negate him.    In the least surprising story of 2024 in Kansas City, the overstuffed World Cup Committee is in chaos.  The executive director was not allowed to do her job so she just bolted from this crap show.  It seems SEVENTEEN people all think they are in charge.  Especially the select FIVE that run the board's leadership.  This is not going well, as predicted here from the start.     The SM School District is thinking of taking phones from students.  Yes, they are a distraction and I support this.  But why now?  I'll share my theory.    The Royals had a great win Wednesday and are set to hos the first place Guardians, Al Michaels agrees to be a computer fake and KU's Johnny Furphy has to wait another day to get drafted.

College Basketball Big Monday is officially back, and both the Kansas Jayhawks and North Carolina Tar Heels took care of business against the Cincinnati Bearcats and Wake Forest Demon Deacons, respectively. Bill Self's shooting guard problem looks to finally be resolved after Johnny Furphy dropped 23 points and 11 rebounds, while the Jayhawks got just two points from their bench - a pair of free throws by Elmarko Jackson in the final seconds. RJ Davis solidified his spot as ACC Player of the Year frontrunner by dropping 36 points for the Tar Heels, who are now 8-0 in ACC play. The Big Ten only has four teams over .500, and we discuss which other teams outside of Purdue, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Northwestern, are most likely to compete for a top-three spot in the Big Ten and a guaranteed at-large bid in the NCAA Tournament. Is it Tom Izzo and Michigan State, who have won eight of their last 10, or perhaps Nebraska who has a decently favorable schedule the rest of the way? We close out the show previewing Tuesday's action, including Duke heading to Louisville, Kentucky at South Carolina, and four other marquee matchups!
