Pinedrops invites Mumblebee for a back-to-back on his weekly show at Missoula community radio, 101.5 KFGM. Pinedrops' style ranges from ambient, to house, garage, UK bass, electro, techno, and the faster break-inspired genres. Mumblebee's chameleon-esque style of mixing, blending well with whatever is thrown their way, certainly complements the show's vibe. The two DJs dive deep to explore percussion and deep dance tracks. KFGM is Missoula's Community Radio Station, which strives to set a medium for all community members to enrich and engage their community directly and freely by producing educational, socially just, culturally aware, and entertaining radio programming. https://www.1015kfgm.org/ https://soundcloud.com/christian-m-mercado https://soundcloud.com/mumble_b33

The Final Draft Great Conversations podcast is all about books, writing and literary culture. For nearly thirty years Final Draft has found its home at 2ser 107.3. 2ser is a Community Radio Station broadcasting from Sydney, Australia. 2ser was born in October 1979 as a community voice and disruptor of the dominate voices in the Sydney media scene. For more than forty years 2ser has been a voice for Sydney, representing the many communities who don't always get to hear themselves in the mainstream. Every October 2ser celebrates its birthday with Radiothon, an opportunity to thank our listeners and invite them to become a part of our family. Today's special bonus episode is a little look at the history of 2ser and a big Happy Birthday for Radiothon. Research and references from today's episode come from 2ser's 46 Boxes of Stuff - An Incomplete History of Community Radio from Liz Giuffre and Demetrius Romeo. Final Draft is produced and presented by Andrew Pople Want more great conversations with Australian authors? Discover this and many more conversations on Final Draft every week from 2ser. Question: What's great about events like the G-Town Radio Day of Festival? Local communities continue to facilitate neighborhood engagement and awareness as they transcend the violence and social decay gripping their communities. We visited the G-town Community Radio station 92.9 FM's "Day of Festival", event where they had their annual community event in which local vendors, musicians, business people, professionals and residents came together to share food, fun and fellowship; with music, dance and explosion of talent. The station also opened up their studios to the public. We interviewed some of the station volunteers and staff such as, Joanne the program director and chatted with Tom the manager and a board member. We also learned what locals in Germantown have to offer their city and the world, as we interviewed and chatted with several local business and shop owners, all women who either participated or visited the event. It was an Amazing day of festival that we caught the end of and was able to file this report. We ended with music from Spiritual Thunder a local band originally from Germantown that ended the show with epic music that we have on the show for you today. In the final segment of the show, we sat with the Commissioner of The Real Jersey Shore Yahoo Fantasy NFL League Commissioner, Ricardo McKenzie, who discussed fantasy football and the NFL matchups this week. Meet one man, Andre Roberson, who took his grandmother's advice to heart that "it all starts with one" and turned that into his life's mission as Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Power of One Foundation. Which so far has fed over 2,000,000 people in our community. And will continue to do so "as long as my hands can help" (as Andre so humbly puts it). True inspiration for all of us that see so many seemingly insurmountable problems and simply throw up our hands in resignation or defeat saying "what can I do?" Hear the story of one man who simply did what he could. And in the process showed us all the unbelievable POWER OF ONE. On this week's OUR COMMUNTY PODCAST. Powered by the Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. And the OC's only Community Radio Station, OC TALK RADIO.
