Pick a real number, because we are back for our fifth season of new/old Wie is de Mol episodes - and we're going back to 2011's offering in El Salvador & Nicaragua! Over these ten weeks, three Titans of Mole recapping - Logan, Michael & Bindles - are recapping and looking back at all that happened on the trip through two countries that we still can't quite believe they visited, continuing with the seventh episode and elimination of Pepijn. In this episode - Michael pre-empts some smut, Production fail to learn any lessons from Survivor: Nicaragua, Logan predicts a medevac, we wonder if Nele could have survived the Cerro Negro, Karin gets some kudos for doing things, another country swap is suggested, there's a crossover with Redemple Temple, we wonder what the rules were around the chests, Logan references The Simpsons, we make some topical references from a year ago, Bindles tries to earn his Twitter name, we wonder who we'd want to help us earn jokers, Karin & Pieter Jan might be friends, we discuss what Pepijn's downfall was, people have bad opinions, we start discussing Netflix Mole, there is a very interesting montage, only one person is allowed to eulogise, Bindles gets a groan and Logan locks in his seventh set of suspicions. Thank you for listening - we will see you next week for Episode 8! Please note: This season is intended on being spoiler-free, so please watch the episodes along with us. As with our coverage of Seasons 14 & 17, there are no spoilers due to Logan not having seen the season before. However, any season we have already covered (WIDM 10, 14, 17-23 and Renaissance; Belgie 4-11) is fair game though. There are also a couple of references to a particularly infamous incident in the South Africa season, as well as US Mole 5. Additional note: And this is the point where unfortunately we do have to start referencing Netflix's bastardisation of the Mole. We apologise in advance. Aidan and Noah locked down a dream interview and welcome a new friend of the show - NaOnka Anyanwu née Mixon. NaOnka was the star of Survivor: Nicaragua and to this day is one of the most notorious Survivor villains in history after 44 seasons. She dominated the airtime in the season by being extremely vocal and steadfast with her boundaries and refusing to keep it to herself when she disliked another castaway. In this interview NaOnka takes us on a journey of her pre-Survivor experience, Survivor experience and what she has been up to since the season aired in 2010. Not only does she provide intimate details into the casting process and filming of Survivor but gives a lens into the life of a reality television villain post show… but she addresses the infamous quit and how she feels about that decision today. If you were hoping for an extension of our TikTok 'Where Are They Now' series then you've got it with this interview with NaOnka. Throughout the interview NaOnka is as entertaining and energetic as she is throughout her season of Survivor so it's certainly an amazing interview. In 2021, Annie P. was on dozens and dozens of podcasts and it dramatically changed her audience size, talking points, and overall marketing in tiny and huge ways. Now, all-star podcast connector, host, and agency owner Angie Trueblood is here to break the processes of pitching and preparation down into digestible, exciting chunks.
