I want you to feel like you're sitting down for tea with us in this episode. We chat about what it really feels like to grow, evolve, and hold space for others while navigating our own healing and self-worth journeys. We chat about so much in this episode, and I ask Brooklyn to open up about:✨ The parts of herself she's no longer willing to shrink✨ The things she used to chase ~ and now feels at peace without✨ How doing the inner work has changed the way she shows up in her business and community✨ The subtle (and not-so-subtle) ways she's given her energy away ~ and how she's learning to protect it✨ What success means to her now, compared to a few years ago✨ And of course, imposter syndrome ~ and how it still shows up, even when you're fully living your purpose. We really hope you feel seen and heard in this episode and maybe even inspired to stop proving, stop pushing, and soften into who you truly are.About Brooklyn:Brooklyn is a certified yoga teacher and co-founder of Yogable, a wellness company dedicated to creating transformative retreats and online meditation programs that support mind-body healing. In this episode, Michael reveals how your life is a grand play and how you have absolute control over how you experience and feel about it. It's a fascinating concept that will have you approaching every day with more confidence and self-love.
Being happy and living an amazing life doesn't happen by accident. It is a manifestation of your thoughts, self-talk, and actions...your responses to what you experience and choose to expose yourself to. In this episode, Michael reveals how your thoughts, self-talk, and actions can be purposefully and intentionally curated to enhance how you feel and the reality you experience...in a world that is chaotic and way beyond your ability to control (as much as you wish you could).
HELLO! And welcome back to the Pass Around the Smile podcast. This year, I am so focused on bringing you episodes which will have you feeling relaxed, optimistic, inspired and READY to live life to your fullest potential. I'm so excited just writing that! In this episode I share with you the ups and downs which January brought me. My new year card spread for January was so spot on. I pulled patience and perception - and boy did I need to practice patience and change my perception on certain situations, over and over! While January was chaotic, it was full of lessons, and I'm grateful that I can now share all of this with my community. I am positive that this episode will resonate in more ways than one. Something we all struggle with from time to time is having patience, not only in regards to our dreams manifesting, but with everyday life occurrences. How we react and perceive everything that is happening around us, becomes a direct reflection of what we experience. In this ep I chat about how our inner reality directly affects our outer reality and how you can use patience and perception to alter what you are experiencing. I also touch on confirmation bias. What it is and how the majority of the world experiences it! Are you looking for evidence to support your fears or limiting beliefs? It can be such a huge block when it comes to manifestation. If confirmation bias is taking over your subconscious mind, you aren't allowing yourself freedom, peace, love, happiness or success.Something I'm also passionate about, is not ‘waiting' or ‘depending' on something external to dictate your happiness. I hear a lot of, ‘I'll be happy when …. I'll feel relaxed when …' Why not allow yourself to feel these feelings now? Because you can. They are available to you. An exciting episode full of golden nuggets, I hope you love it! Please follow, subscribe, comment and join my community below!View my website here! Welcome to "I'm Dying to Tell You," where we shine a light on resilience and hope. In this special episode, we're celebrating six years of I AM ALS, an organization created for patients, by patients. Why is this so important? Because for far too long, those most impacted by ALS weren't leading the charge in our collective mission for a cure. But I AM ALS changed the game. By putting patients at the forefront, they are not only better equipped to serve the ALS community, but we're operating on the ALS clock—pushing for accelerated progress every single day.Today, I'm thrilled to chat with four incredible volunteers, Tim Abeska, Randy Gregory Jr., Cristy Hardin & Deb Winters about how I AM ALS continues to be driven by patient voices, advocating, empowering, and fighting to make ALS a thing of the past. We'll dive into the work of the I AM ALS Community Teams, their ongoing efforts, and how YOU can get involved in this powerful movement. So, listen in and be inspired to join these teams of patients, caregivers, and advocates who prove that the impossible is possible—every single day. Thank you for sharing this celebration. Hugs, LorriFollow and see what's coming next: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn.

I am just BEAMING with good energy writing the description for this episode. This episode is PACKED with feel good stories and magical tips to help you manifest your desires. This is another episode where I chat honestly with my community about my struggles to manifest and how I turned that around. And boy did I turn it around! To a point where I ‘accidentally' manifested TOO many exciting things into my life that I actually got completely overwhelmed. (In the best way.) After reflecting, I had come up with five points that I believe helped me gain positive momentum and manifest incredible people and opportunities into my life.I delve into the below topics and also share with you what I manifested and exactly how I did it! Self Worth Understanding my WHY Manifesting things that I wasn't ridiculously attached to. Keeping my vibration high and celebrating every win like they were an absolute huge success. Focusing on acts of serviceHope you enjoyed another feel good episode. Don't forget to leave a 5 star rating if you have time! Thank you to Piyama for sponsoring this episode. Another podcast to make you SMILE. Piggy backing off my last two episodes, ‘creating positive flow' and ‘creating space for opportunities,' this episode goes into the energy behind determination and focus. When I realised I had no choice but to make Pass Around the Smile as a business work, I moved forward at a pace and with a force of determination I never had before. What followed blew my mind. Doors opened, I had the most exciting phone calls and emails come through, momentum began to build in all areas of my life and it felt SO EXCITING!In an earlier episode, I explained how self worth was the foundation to living a happy life. Because to live a happy life is to be loved and loved in return, it is to be respected, and it is to feel worthy of your desires … with no self worth, none of this is possible. In a business sense, I decided to back myself, low self worth just wasn't an option anymore because I knew that would leave me where I was. So I started making the phone calls, sending the emails - completely backing myself with determination and confidence. The key was, that determination was backed with passion.I end this episode with some positive mantras that will have you feeling inspired, excited, fresh and open minded!I hope this episode can have you feeling inspired and ready to step into your power! It's incredible how quickly doors can open when you decide you are worth it.As mentioned, I will keep my 50% off code for my online course, A Guide to Happiness up for a little longer! Code is: HAPPINESS50 and here is the link! Your liffe purpose is to have fun, feel excited, and be amazing! Unfortunately, this is not always the case. In this episode, Michael shares a path from feeling bad (for whatever reason) to feeling great...and it's not what you might think!
Whether you feel good or bad is something you control. An exciting episode which I hope will have you feeling open to the abundance of opportunities available to you! Our manifestations can often be blocked for a very simple reason … lately I had noticed that I wasn't making enough room or creating enough space for my manifestations to materialise. And it really was as simple as that! In this episode, not only do I chat about ways to create more space energetically and physically, but I also chat about EASY and EFFORTLESS ways you can bring your desires into fruition. We don't have to push, grind and hustle to achieve our desires. We can do less and attract more, as long as we are taking inspired action. As always, I'm excited to share this episode because it is packed with magical inspiration which will help you along your spiritual and self development journey. I hope this episode can bring the u-huh moment you've been waiting for! Often when we are feeling blocked or stuck, our minds can perceive it is going to take a long time and a lot of hard work to move forward - I hope this episode can remind you that that is not necessarily true. I share a few of my own stories which show I was blocking opportunities for 2 reasons; one being that I was too laser focused on only one opportunity being right for me, and the second being that I had not created space mentally and physically for this opportunity to come in. I also discuss how powerful looking at rejection as redirection is and how a quick change in your mindset can have a big ripple effect on the good opportunities that are coming for you. Our guest is a true visionary who began her journey in beauty while she was still a student at Howard University, crafting her first DIY skincare products right in her dorm room. Fast forward to today, she's the founder and creative force behind Mary Louise Cosmetics, a brand celebrated for its commitment to clean beauty and its focus on intergenerational beauty practices. I'm talking about none other than Akilah Releford Gould. In our conversation, Akilah opens up about her early experiences that sparked the creation of Mary Louise Cosmetics, including the influence of her father, Dr. Bill Releford, on her entrepreneurial journey. We also dive into how she seamlessly incorporates ingredients from Bloom Ranch, the largest Black-owned ranch in Los Angeles County, into her products, and the significance of clean beauty in her brand. But that's not all! Akilah shares exciting news about her latest venture, Lucky Girl Rosé, and how she balances being a new mom with running a successful beauty empire. Plus, she gives us a sneak peek into what's next for Mary Louise Cosmetics, and of course, she couldn't leave without sharing her personal skincare, makeup, and haircare routines.FOLLOW MARY LOUISE COSMETICSMary Louise Cosmetics' WebsiteMary Louise Cosmetics' InstagramFOLLOW AKILAH RELEFORD GOULDAkilah Releford Gould's InstagramFOLLOW HELLO BEAUTYHello Beauty's InstagramHello Beauty on Apple PodcastHello Beauty on SpotifyHello Beauty on iHeartRadioHello Beauty SimplecastFOLLOW JOYCE PLATONJoyce's Instagram
This episode is a little bit of a magical mess! My intention was to create your go-to episode for when you're needing a bit of a positive pick me up! I chat about creating positive flow, balance and fulfilment - and chat about how as humans, we are quick to allow a downward spiral, but what about allowing a positive spiral? It's just as easy, if not easier! And I think we all know what we would rather. We discuss manifestation and how the law of attraction can work to our advantage, or disadvantage, depending on what energy we are putting out. Something I have found blocks my manifestations from materialising, is when I'm working toward something that I don't actually want. It sounds strange, but so many of us do it! Often we can be trying to manifest a goal that we set years ago, but maybe now it doesn't align anymore … or we can be trying to manifest something because society says we should have it by this time, or other people deem it as cool, fun or successful. Checking in with yourself and what you want is one of the first steps to create positive flow! We also chat about disappointment and pressure and how we can alleviate both of those feelings! I hope you enjoy the episode. Thank you to Scunci for sponsoring this episode. Self worth is the foundation to building a happy life. Because to live a happy life is to love, and be loved in return - it's to be respected and feel worthy of what you desire. If you have low self worth, then none of that is possible. If you are wanting to manifest love, respect, success, healthy and happy relationships - your level of self worth will determine whether or not you can successfully manifest these good things into your life. The small decisions we make in our everyday lives can have a far bigger impact than we think. It's easy to fawn, people please, or not ask for what we want because we don't want to make a fuss, or we fear embarrassment or judgement - but it's these small moments that make up our overall energy, and it's our energy that attracts the people, circumstances and things we want. This episode is PACKED with juice! I'm certain it will get you thinking and bring some u-huh moments! I chat about the difference between self worth and confidence and how when we lack both, rejection, outside opinions and obstacles can hit hard.Below are the questions/journal prompts which can help you identify where you are lacking in self worthAre you looking for approval? Are you reluctant to ask for what you want? Are you scared you'll make a fuss? Are you worried what others will think of you? If you are assertive, are you worried others will think you bossy, greedy or mean?Do you think that there are better/more deserving/more successful/better looking people for what it is that you want.Find the article I referenced here Why So Many Women Are Reluctant To Ask For What They Want and Deserve.Pass Around the Smile's Links belowView my website here! Welcome to "A Lake a Day Will Keep the Doctor Away," where I recount a remarkable week-long vacation exploring a different lake each day with great friends. Our days were filled with biking scenic trails, fishing in tranquil waters, paddling amongst the mountains and floating down rapids, while our kids reveled in outdoor adventures and evenings were spent bonding over s'mores by the fire. This trip was a reminder of the joy found in simplicity and the rejuvenating power of nature and leaving us refreshed in mind and spirit. Hey everyone, welcome to today's episode where I'm diving into a topic close to many of our hearts: healing generational trauma. I'll chat about how working on ourselves isn't just good for us, but it can also stop passing down old wounds to our kids. But here's the deal—our healing journey won't magically fix everything for our children. They're on their own paths too, and they'll have their own stuff to work through as they grow up. Wanting more and striving for more is exciting and it gives us something to work toward and look forward to. But you want to be careful you're not constantly only living for the future. That is not living in the present - that is not showing gratitude for where you are right now, which can be a big block toward our manifestations materialising. This is also when life speeds by, we miss moments, we miss the signs and coincidences the universe might be trying to send us.This episode is an inspiring one, where I chat about the expectation and perception that you may hold around the small things in life, which have a direct flow on effect to the bigger things in life - your goals, manifestations, relationships, health etc.I read an interesting article which you can find here by Jessica Rapana on psychologist and author Cass Dunn's studies, it's all about the ‘hedonic treadmill.' This adaptation describes how us humans are constantly chasing the next thing, which leaves us with a constant sense of being dissatisfied. I can absolutely relate to this! Why do we feel the need to constantly want more, instead of being content with where we are? I chat about the pros and cons I have found regarding this and why I think a balance between wanting more and being happy where you are is important. I hope you love this episode! We all need advice from time to time. Many of us are blessed to have had advice passed down to us from people we love. When the best advice ever received is shared, it can influence the trajectory of our lives and businesses. The 300th episode of The Robyn Graham Show is a commemorative event. To celebrate, Robyn asked former guests to share the best advice ever received, that influenced their lives or businesses. The pieces of advice are outlined below. The women featured have all had inspiring journeys and I know you'll learn from their interviews as much as you'll be inspired by their best piece of advice! The best advice ever received Two pieces of advice that were shared with me have helped me focus on what's important. The first is from my father, “If you wait until something is perfect, it will never happen.” I'm pretty sure he probably took this from Ecclesiastes 11:4 which reads Those who wait for perfect weather will never plant seeds; those who look at every cloud will never harvest crops. The second piece of advice I love is from my God-father, “Work hard and love harder.” Read the full show notes and access all links. Welcome back to the Pass Around the Smile podcast! I hope to have you feeling inspired, clear and empowered as you move into 2024. Today's episode is all about connection and intuition and how integral both are in living a life in flow and manifesting your desires! I share how I lost my connection to myself and my higher powers and how I managed to gain this connection back again. I also chat about how I resisted my intuition, in turn blocking it completely because of fear. It wasn't until I let down the walls of resistance that I finally felt that connection and was able to see and feel intuitively again. What I've learned, is that both connection and intuition is the starting point for self and spiritual development. If you are connected to yourself and your higher powers, everything else flows. I also share my own goals for 2024 (or lack thereof) and give you a little catch up, as its been a while!MANIFEST MAGIC COURSE! Click here for more info and to book in!View my website here! Here, Juliet & Tim share about their late spouses, Jeff Sarnacki & Mary Ann Abeska. Here I chat with military veteran of both the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Navy, Kate Peters. She served in the USMC 2007-2015, USN 2015-2020 and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Kate is a mother of two boys, three and five and was medically retired from the military after being diagnosed with ALS, a fatal disease that has no cure. She was diagnosed with ALS in 2020 a few weeks after her second son was born, after about 2 and 1/2 years of symptoms and a misdiagnosis. I talk to Kate about her military experience, the connection between ALS & the military and her upcoming BIG adventure of traveling the world for a year with her young family. Kate is considered a slow progresser with ALS, having symptoms for almost 6 years and still being fully independent and able to take care of her children. She's been able to witness some blessings after being given a terminal diagnosis and shares some beautiful life advice that will encourage us all.
