In this interview which was partially recorded live, Ranjan shares his story on how he has been creating TUEIE his whole life. During his 25 year personal development journey his through thread has been surrender. From being a monk in 1997 for four months to alternative therapies and several spiritual initiations within India to starting his professional career of speaking and training. He was constantly aimlessly chasing truth yet it remained allusive.Professionally he was being awarded but inside he didn't value any of it nor did he feel fulfilled. He struggled to receive all of his accolades internally for twenty years. Everything came to a head in 2016 going through his divorce is what caused him to slow down. With up to six legal battles: 2 yr son, 7 yr daughter, mom 60 yr, dad 70 yr to provide and care for caused him to reawaken his spiritual practices to replenish. He was so busy doing and lost his sense of self and direction and decision making fatigue for 3.5 years and chose to surrender.Shift started happening, winning legal battles, increase in resources and spiritual shift for total grounding. As you listen, hear yourself in his path of surrender and see where you can create more possibilities and let go of expectation.About the Guest: Ranjan Kumar Varanasi is the World Expert on Authentic Influence helping Change Makers and Leaders amplify their personal impact without being sleazy and create deep impact through their work. In today's episode, our guest is Frank Kitchen, the "Mindset Master Chef,” who rose from being fired on Father's Day seven years ago to being recognized as one of the top professional speakers in the world. When he was jobless and starting a new endeavor, he dealt with a lot of worry and pressure about how to feed his family, how his parents would react, how his in-laws would react, and whether he would succeed. He had no choice but to make it happen, so he went into the proverbial kitchen and started cooking. It turns out he didn't have to worry about what his family thought because they were right behind him, supporting him on his new path. This fueled him, even more to take action and go after his goal. Frank recommends reaching out to people you look up to, or people who you see are succeeding where you're struggling to ask them for advice and learn from them. He shared a story about his mom, who summoned the courage to talk to a personality that she looked up to after he coaxed her into going up to her. It turned out that was her last chance because the personality died a month later. He stresses that we should take the chance when we can because there might not be another opportunity.Frank emphasizes the importance of getting out of our comfort zone and doing something about our dreams. He highlights what he learned from his mom, who was a preschool teacher, that kids don't take no for an answer, which is why they grow so much, and as adults, we should take inspiration from this tenacity.Who is Frank Kitchen?Frank Kitchen is a husband, father of two lovely children, keynote speaker, public speaker, and one of the world's top Professional Speakers in 2022 (awarded by the National Speakers Association). With the help of his family and friends, he transformed the ultimate "burnt meal" into a tasty 5-Star Masterpiece using the skills he learned as a student leader, store manager, salesperson, educator, entertainer, and event planner. He has been invited to share his tried-and-true recipe for fostering career advancement, healthy workplace culture, and productivity with schools, universities/colleges, professional associations, nonprofits, corporations, and civic groups all over the world.Frank puts his lessons into practice even when he is not speaking. He currently volunteers and serves as the Board Chair for the non-profit organization Hustle USA / Hustle PHX. Their staff and volunteers give people in underserved urban areas the tools they need to start and run successful businesses.Check out Frank:Email: fresh@frankkitchen.com Website: https://www.frankkitchen.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/frankkitchen Twitter: https://twitter.com/frankkitchenConnect with Chad:Strategy Call: https://calendly.com/mrtenacity40/pgi-coaching-consultWebsite: https://mrtenacity.com/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chad-osinga-b62a08b1/FB: https://www.facebook.com/108630534048340IG:https://www.instagram.com/mr._tenacity/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mrtenacity40

Serban Mare is an immigrant who came to the US from Romania when he was 23 in search of better opportunities and a better life. He did everything he was “supposed to” and then came to understand the meaning of the maxim “be careful what you wish for.” In his mid-30s, he described his life using a couple of four letter words: He was FINE. He was LOST. He encountered a concept that sent him down the rabbit hole, reading, listening, learning, experimenting, evolving. Which ultimately led him to say YES to a 40th birthday project that took a year and a half to plan and more than a week to accomplish.Guest BioSerban is an expert in personal development, self-help, and peak performance. He is a Professional Speaker, Certified CBT Practitioner, and Life Coach. As a Project Manager, Serban learned how to map out steps to escape the typical “work towards retirement life” and has engineered the path to a more authentic, joyful, and fulfilled lifestyle.Serban came to the United States with $200 to call his own and through adversity created a better life for himself and his family. Despite achieving the “American Dream,” he realized he craved deeper meaning and fulfillment. After undergoing his own personal transformation, he accumulated an abundance of knowledge which he desires to share with others on how to live a higher quality, passionate, and meaningful life.Commemorating 40 on Mt. KilimanjaroSerban Mare came to the United States from Romania when he was 23 and looking for better opportunities than he had at home. What he thought would be a relatively short stay has turned into making a life here. Early in the year that he turned 40, Serban was having dinner with a friend who was shortly to turn 50 and their wives. The friend had a plan to do something grandiose for his 50th and Serban wanted to be a part of it. That thing was hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa. Serban's reaction was: “I'm in. Let's do it.” His wife took a couple days to think about the seven-day hike and signed onto the trip four days later. The pact was made a little over a year before they went to the mountain. A lot of the following year was spent finding the right equipment since getting a blister can be what determines success or failure. Serban calls hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro the most memorable thing he's done in his life. The 40 TransitionWhile Serban commemorated his 40th birthday in an uncommon way, he still went through a pretty typical life transition. Serban's vision of a life well lived was to go to college, find a corporate job, get married, have some kids, get a dog and save for retirement. That was the blueprint he followed until he was 35. He and his wife decided not to have children, which, he says, gave them more time to ponder about life. Serban went to lunch with a friend he hadn't seen in a while. The friend asked how he was and he seemed full of genuine interest. So he thought, and answered: career, fine. Relationships, fine. Health, fine. Nothing was great. He realized he felt like he was going around in circles and that's when he wondered if that was it. Was there anything more to life? Or was he just going to go around in circles for the next few decades. His wife sent him to Lewis Howes' podcast, The School of Greatness, and particularly the episode where Les Brown talked about how to defeat a negative mindset. This is where he first encountered the concept of “growth mindset,” which led him to Carol Dwek's book, Mindset. This
