In this episode, Christina Nordmark and I have an in-depth conversation around her childhood that was full of rejection, disappointment, and physical, sexual & emotional trauma. This all led to her believing she was ugly and unlovable… which she later learned were all lies from the enemy (satan). Christina is now on a journey to help other women and men that need deliverance from the bonds that are holding them to the past. Christina Nordmark is passionate about guiding women toward emotional freedom, deep inner healing, and physical restoration by uncovering spiritual root causes, exposing lies, and allowing the Holy Spirit to heal the heart and reveal the truth. Through her own life journey, Christina experienced the limitations of traditional Christian counseling, spending years discussing her struggles with abandonment, childhood sexual abuse, abortions, trauma, domestic violence, depression, fear, and insecurity. Her breakthrough came through Moriah Freedom Ministries, where she received Inner Healing Prayer and found freedom from past trauma and bondage. After experiencing her own profound healing, Christina felt a deep calling to help others find the same freedom. Through the Biblical Foundations of Freedom, she discovered the roots of her spiritual and emotional challenges and now lives free from these debilitating issues. Today, Christina is committed to helping the brokenhearted heal and empowering others to live a life of freedom—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—that she once only dreamed was possible. In this episode, Paul Zolman and I discuss his journey of going from being a child traumatized and bred to be angry to becoming an all-around lover of people and an expert on helping individuals find their own and serve others through love languages. Love is not about how you feel, it is how you can help others feel. Paul Zolman - The author of love is God. In His wisdom, He placed us in a variety of circumstances that require us to find our way back to His pure love. So, what qualifies Paul Zolman to speak about love? His childhood experience of the opposite of love. From that austere beginning, and the distaste it formed inside him, he searched for and eventually created a method that transformed his life from anger to loving everyone. Growing up in a family of abuse, physical touch became his preferred love style, only because of the regularity. He could almost count on it. It was consistent. He came to think that was the way to express love. But deep inside, he knew that was a twisted belief. He wanted a better life for himself, which is why he created a paradigm shift that works. In this episode, Christian Armstrong and I talk about what life was like for him being diagnosed with Autism as a young child, being told he could never do the things that he wanted to do… specifically play sports or be a normal kid. Christian Armstrong was Diagnosed with autism back in 2001, with doctors setting very low expectations for how much Christian could achieve in his lifetime. From the starting position of not speaking to his own family or classmates back in elementary school, he is now speaking on stages and inspiring people across the country. In this episode, Ginny Priem and I discuss how she found herself with an instant family and sleeping with a narcissist. With her world turned upside down, Ginny shares how she had ignored all of the red flags her body had been sending her and how she decided to share her story by writing the book, “You're My Favorite.” As part of her healing, she developed GINpath, 3 steps she used to grow through her trauma. Ginny Priem has an extensive background, including experience as a Master Certified Professional Life Coach and #1 best-selling author, in addition to a corporate career spanning over 20 years, focusing on leadership and emotional intelligence. She is the host of the popular Drinking with Gin podcast and has over 15 years of speaking experience. In her #1 best-selling book, You're My Favorite, she shares the true story of her own personal traumatic end of a romantic relationship with a shocking twist as the man she thought was living in her house turned out to not be the man she thought he was at all. This jarring experience sent her on her own path of healing and growing. In discovering her own path forward, she created GINpath, which is the path that she developed, tested, and implemented to help others in growing through adversity. We all face tough times and have that one story, one that we may not think is big enough to share or manage through, but it's what we do with these stories that really matters. Ginny's keynotes leave audiences inspired to take the next step on their own path. I am your host, Marci Nettles.
