' “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?' or ‘What shall we drink?' or ‘What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.'

Send us a Text Message. In our previous episode we focused on the end goal of what's at the end of our hard season(s). The difficulty is our mindset when we are experiencing hardships. We typically adopt a victim mentality when we are in hardships but when we make the conscious decision to seek God's perspective and perception while in our hard season(s) it allows us to endure those seasons like a good soldier. So what does God say our mindset or thought life should be? Glad you asked, we discuss it in this episode.

Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Adults discuss the race of Santa Claus. Should kids believe? Jesus said: Do not worry about your life. Recognize God's gifts. Archive Sunday Service, December 15, 2013: Jesse Lee Peterson lets people know that Santa Claus is white. (This is a national controversy after Megyn Kelly asserted such on Fox News.) Some parents traumatize their children telling them Santa isn't real! Let it be fun! // In Matthew 6: 24-29, Jesus said, "No one can be the slave of two masters: he will either hate the first and love the second, or be attached to the first and despise the second. You cannot be the slave both of God and of money. That is why I am telling you not to worry about your life and what you are to eat, nor about your body and what you are to wear. Surely life is more than food, and the body more than clothing! "Look at the birds in the sky. They do not sow or reap or gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they are? Can any of you, however much you worry, add one single cubit to your span of life? And why worry about clothing? Think of the flowers growing in the fields; they never have to work or spin; yet I assure you that not even Solomon in all his royal robes was clothed like one of these." // JLP tells stories, and others also talk about situations in their life. Matthew 6:25 - 31 instructs us not to take any thoughts and give the reason why. However, we also are instructed to take no thought saying. Many of us are saying too much, talking too much and not Praying and praising enough. If the devil can't get you to sin, he'll get you busy doing to much talking the problem, busy worrying, busy frustrating yourself, busy being anxious and not you are exhausted.
