Tommy Vext, is an American heavy metal singer and songwriter known as the former lead vocalist of Bad Wolves, Divine Heresy, and Westfield Massacre. As a solo act, he goes by The Lone Wolf. Vext began his music career in Brooklyn, New York as a teenager singing in local hardcore bands and engaging in freestyle rap battles with the neighborhood's preeminent hopefuls. Being too young, Vext had to sneak into clubs even for his own shows. In 1996, he formed the band Maniacal Disciple with friends Jim Donovan, Steve Perlmutter, and Mike Kontaras, eventually changing their name to "Vext" (a word he found in Wu-Tang Clan's lyrics), which eventually became his nickname after he started to be known as "Tommy Vext" in the New York hardcore scene. After his exit from Bad Wolves, Vext started a GoFundMe campaign for a solo record of original music. He also started uploading a series of cover songs he recorded in 2020 onto his YouTube account, as well as announcing tour dates for a "Fuck Cancel Culture Tour" in April 2021. His GoFundMe campaign raised over $175,000 before Vextstated on March 15, 2021 that he would not be releasing it due to being "financially bullied into submission.” In this episode, Brad and Tommy talk about everything and break down cancel culture as well as what has happened over the last three years in America. Tommy Vext formerly of the band Bad Wolves, Divine Heresy, and Westfield Massacre will join George in an unfiltered conversation about the music industry, cancel culture, world affairs, his new project The Lone Wolf and more! subscribe - www.meetmeforcoffee.co ______________________________________________________ Tommy Vext/ The Lone Wolf have released a brand new single titled "Trust the Science" featuring Billboard topping Hip-Hop artist and TikTok star, Topher to all major platforms. "'Trust the Science' is for all intensive purposes a protest anthem. It's a reflection of the damage that happens when people follow blind leaders for solutions that end up causing more harm than good. The song is also a homage to hospital workers and first responders who were unconventionally fired from their jobs for not participating in a mass medical experiment. We see you and we honor your integrity and sacrifice," says Vext. Tommy Vext is a rock singer and songwriter best known for being the lead singer of Bad Wolves, Snot and a short stint as the fill in lead singer for Five Finger Death Punch. Vext's passion for music came early. He began his career in Brooklyn, New York, as a teen making his rounds in the local hardcore scene. He created a name for himself by performing at famed venues like CBGB and many others. Over the years, Vext went on to create music and front many bands but his biggest success came when he founded and created Bad Wolves. With ten world tours, hundreds of millions of streams and most notably six number one hits, Vext's stage presence and powerful voice had solidified his place in the rock world for good, creating a loyal and rabid fan base. Though Bad Wolves first studio album Disobey was released in May of 2017, it wasn't until May of 2018 when they found record breaking and chart topping success with their breakthrough cover of the Cranberries single "Zombie". This single topped the Billboard mainstream rock charts for weeks and charted in many other territories globally. One of the most viewed music videos on the internet, "Zombie" has been watched upwards of 400 million times. Before her passing, TMZ obtained audio of the original singer Delores O'Riordan offering to sing on the cover. Considered a love letter by many the video views continue to grow. In January of 2021 Vext was pushed out of the band he created over differences of opinions regarding his social and political ideologies. Not falling victim to cancel culture, Vext continued to create music, tour and use his voice to do things the way he wants, when he wants. Known as one of the most prolific and provocative men in rock music, Tommy Vext is just getting started. credit: O'Donnell Media Group

Future Colors is the new heavy-hitting hard rock band, founded by vocalist Seann Nicols, (Westfield Massacre) and former Bellusira bassist Mark Dalbeth.Drawing upon their established styles, Future Colors unites Nicols’ visceral vocals with Dalbeth’s signature heavy bass grooves. These elements are supported by a modern palette of live and electronic drums, low-tuned electric guitars, and cinematic soundscapes. The result is an aggressive and captivating sound that is sure to appeal to hard rock music fans around the world. With Future Colors’ debut single “Stand Down” released today through HEAVY, Seann sat down for an entertaining chat that covered a variety of topics. While “Stand Down” has an almost nu-metal/hard rock feel, Nicols soon explains the rest of the material is anything but set in stone."I kinda don’t know to be honest,” he laughed when pressed on the musical direction. “This song has its own unique flavour to it. Some of the other songs are... it's all in the same vein. It's all from the same chemistry - it's Mark and I and everything that we've grown to love in music together, combining our talents, and also forging a new path so that we can present something that's like, 'hey, I wish there was more of this in the world, I wish that bands did more of this'. It’s about taking this kind of hook and then taking things in a new direction and using some technology, some synthesiser sounds and electronics but still keeping it heavy and aggressive, but at times with dynamics. (It’s about) pulling it down then building it up until all hell breaks loose.”This isn’t exactly Nicols’ first rodeo either. He has fronted bands as esteemed as Adler’s Appetite, Quiet Riot, RATT and also Westfield Massacre, but says Future Colors is a perfect amalgamation of everything that has so far paved his musical way while still maintaining that ever-elusive element of originality."Oh wow, it's a lot different,” he smiled. “Those bands are what I would consider legacy bands. They are from a golden era of rock and roll that has influenced basically all of us when making heavy music and rock and roll. Guns n Roses, Quiet Riot, RATT, these are the bands I grew up with when I was a little kid and it was an awesome experience to be a part of that and work with those guys. The difference with Future Colors is it's a different era. It's modern. It's now, and we are pushing things forward in the post-2000s. We're in that era now where there is a more modern mentality, but I think that I still like to take some of that raw power; that flavour from the classic stuff that lives in me and I try to put it in there where I can but not so much to where it feels like a throwback.”In the full interview, Seann talks more about “Stand Down”, the timeframe on the rest of the music, learning what fans want from a band musically in the modern era, using live and electronic drums during recording and the different sounds put out by each, using a cinematic landscape to enhance the music, starting a band during COVID and more.
