His family is made up of his mother and father and his older sister, Divya. At age two, his family moved to Singapore for his father's IT profession, and his mother gave up her position as a Journalist interviewing Indian Celebrities for India Today. His family moved throughout their eight years in Singapore, and moved again to the United States before Y2K.After settling in Bridgewater, New Jersey, Aditya, now 10 years old and fresh off the boat, had to start over. Upon learning that nobody on the school bus could pronounce this new boy's name, some student called him "Adit," and it stuck.Adit wanted to be an actor, but nobody really knew what he meant or why he had such crazy ideas. When it came time for him to go to college, his parents banned him from applying to art school and gave him three options: medicine, law or engineering. Never one to give in to authority, Adit chose business school, thinking he could learn how to be self-sufficient and run his own brand and company.Adit went on to be accepted in the Scholar's Program at NYU Stern Business School. Fun fact, Aziz Ansari followed the exact same path. While Aziz went straight into comedy after graduating, Adit took jobs in various different sectors within Marketing, Startups, Publishing and of course, Accounting and Finance. He graduated with a B.S. in Finance & Marketing and, still at a loss for how to make his dreams come true, took the highest paying job he could find in investment banking. Two years later, he saved up enough to quit and educate himself on the industry. Bright-eyed and idealistic, Adit printed out Yale Drama School's syllabus and crafted his own curriculum with reputable studios and teachers in New York City. Adit got his first big break with a role in Mystic India: The World Tour in 2015, voicing and narrating a script he wrote himself and performing around the U.S. and Europe. The show got Adit his first Manager, and a few Managers later he booked his first Equity show at Hudson Stage Company in NY, NY followed by long-term theatre contracts at the renown Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, MN and McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ. George introduces Bittersweethearts to the world in a very cool introductory interview. Los Angeles based indie-rockers Bittersweethearts release their dreamy and heart-wrenching third single ‘Run From You'. The enchanting front lady Zoe Infante openly offers, “It symbolizes change and yearning for something new, while feeling stuck in the past. It also represents the feeling of being lost in a toxic relationship and not knowing if you want to stay or leave.”Penned and recorded at Strawhorse Studios California and engineered by Thomas Ross Johansen (Wheatus, Snoop Dog, Walter Trout, Bruno Mars), Thomas added keys to the song with Zach Andrews on bass, Declan O'Raidy guitar/producer and Marc Slutsky provided drums. “While recording we were experimenting with a lot of different guitar tones to achieve a more dreamy vibe, which contrasts the rocky feel of our last single.” Being known for striking imagery, the song is paired with a haunting and ethereal video shot by Vicente Cordero of Industrial Films (Richie Kotzen, Mr Big, Winery Dogs). “I definitely took inspiration from my recent divorce for not only the song, but the video and how tough it was to let go of someone I had made up a fantasy life about.” Zoe goes on, “When I was a little girl, I thought the most romantic gesture would be a photo in a locket, so my favorite lyric from the song has to be, “I want our faces/around my neck/inside a locket”…There's a funeral scene and a wedding scene. I wanted to portray the death of a past life, as well as the rebirth of a new one.”Embodying Tarantino-esque rock vibes, an air of Blondie mixing a cocktail with Mazzy Star in a back alley behind CBGB's in Manhattan's East Village, they have returned to US shores after a January European tour and debut UK show at a renowned haunt for fiery new bands, Fiddlers Elbow Camden to fantastic receptions.Swiftly gaining new fans from their tour in addition to playing legendary venues in Whisky A Go Go, The Viper Room and The Mint on the California coast, the single is another taste of Bittersweethearts with more to come later this year.#music #musicinterviews #mmfcpodcast

Wilmington, North Carolina-based alltheprettythings has combined musicians from bands you might know to make music you would not expect. The multitude of styles and influences that go into these songs will change the way you look at rock music. Anthemic tracks dominate their body of work. “Teenage Lines” soaring sonics and vocal urgency contrasts in some ways with the warm, familiar nature of “Careful Girls (Little Love)” but both have a signature complexity that marks the band's music. Vocalist, Logan Tabor (Mood Mechanics) assembles his lyrics using past and present thoughts from a book of phrases he has fancied over the years – some were random thoughts and some pieces of songs that would never be. In their combination, he imbues them with new, deeper meaning. The intensity of each of the songs is buoyed by his dynamic, versatile performance style. Scottish-Born, South African-raised and San Antonio, TX-based guitarist Tristan Matthew (Newlands, touring bassist for Chiodos) discerns what to contribute to a song through contemplation. The song speaks to him – tells him what it needs. His inspiration transforms the song giving it the right mix of subtlety and presence. The affable Jeremy Bryan (Alesana) on drums enthusiastically supports his bandmates' songwriting efforts. “We all seem to intuitively understand what direction the songs want to go, so we help them get there,” he says. His work ethic (collaborating while on tour) combined with his belief in the talent of Logan, Worth and Tristan moves the project forward in the most positive of directions. For Worth Weaver (producer and touring guitarist for He Is Legend, Thousand Foot Krutch), recording is more of a ‘scientific' endeavor. The alchemy that happens in his studio transforms the parts his bandmates send him and that he records, making them into a seamless whole. Worth makes it all fit – pushing out the boundaries of the songs to make room for some serious innovation. Some bass tracks were recorded by the band's original bassist, James Weaver (Worth's brother who passed in 2020) and the resulting EP will be dedicated to his memory. The four members are currently in talks with a notable bassist to carry the torch for future recordings and tours. What keeps the band inspired is their friendship and like-minded senses of humor. While recording, band members named unfinished songs after lines from their shared favorite movies. From Ace Ventura, Pet Detective to That Thing You Do!, the members grew up with so many of the same cultural references that made their way into their jokes and – more importantly - their music. For the members of alltheprettythings this journey is one of friends that are family and keeping the creative process enjoyable for them – and the listener!#interview #newmusic #newartist #heislegend #thrice #blessthefall

Dark Below is a hard-hitting heavy rock band that brings intense energy in their music and live performances while providing rhythmic songs that people can sing along to. Formed in Columbia, MO, the band signed with Nashville based JPS Productions in 2014. The current lineup has been together since 2016 and includes Josh Campbell (Guitar/Vocals), Josh Grove (Bass/Backing Vocals), and Quin Koldan (Drums). New single “Tense” was produced by Jason Schrick and award-winning producer Malcolm Springer (Matchbox 20, Collective Soul, Fear Factory). After years of preparation, the band is ready to vault to the national scene and beyond. Explaining the genesis of “Tense” Campbell says “The song is about health anxiety/hypochondria and describes the feelings and struggles that are associated with the condition. We want people to know it's OK not to be OK, and that we all have periods of stress, doubt and worry. We're lucky to have this creative outlet of music to help express those emotions and we hope it resonates with fans”. Dark Below came together from a Craigslist post that Josh Campbell made in search of musicians for a hard rock band. Josh Grove was friends with the band members and was hanging out a rehearsal one day. Grove was a guitarist – but after hearing Campbell and the original drummer talking about needing a bass player, he volunteered to give it a go. Campbell says “I didn't really want to sing originally but we couldn't find anyone, so with me singing and playing guitar, Grove on bass, and the original drummer we started playing shows in the Columbia area”. After the original drummer left the band, Quin Koldan joined in 2016 to solidify the current lineup. The band has previously released their self-titled EP in 2017, and the single “Halo” in 2019. They have toured for the past 5 years, opening for Buckcherry, Saliva, Pop Evil, Smile Empty Soul, The Veer Union, and more. A new full-length album is currently being recorded, which is also being produced by Schrick and Springer. The band is currently booking dates to begin playing live to support the new music in the fall.

Another offering of LTD edition NFT's will be available next week. The familiar songwriting and guitars that permeates Scum of the Earth's material is no coincidence; the alternative metal outfit is led by Riggs, an in-your-face singer, guitarist, songwriter, and producer who is best known for the six years he spent with Rob Zombie. Riggs joined forces with Rob Zombie in the '90s and stayed with him into the early 2000s, eventually leaving in 2004 (when Rob Zombie was largely focusing on films rather than music) to start a project of his own.Riggs songwriting and crunching guitars can be heard on Rob Zombie's Hellbilly Deluxe, American Made Music To Strip By, The Sinister Urge, and the Past, Present & Future records. Named after a song from Rob Zombie's Sinister Urge, Scum of the Earth favors the sort of rhythmic, industrial-influenced, mildly funky, hip-hop-minded alternative metal that Riggs honed during the Rob Zombie days. The decadent, over-the-top sense of fun, a dark sense of humor, and a fascination with horror films, the Occult, B-movies, and sleaze is shared by RIGGS. But in contrast to such groups as Slayer -- who take their death metal outlook quite seriously -- Scum of the Earth's lyrics are very tongue-in-cheek.

High Holy Days As days turn into weeks, weeks to months, and months to years; life evolves and times change. A new normal takes shape, but the desire to create music has never wavered for High Holy Days. After enduring 22 years of musical existence filled with trials, tribulations and victories; come hell or high water, HHD are in it for the long haul. Their blueprint reads like a blue-collar guide of straight-ahead lyrics, heartening vocals, strong melodies, and crunchy guitars. High Holy Days create guitar-driven meat and potatoes rock, heavily influenced by the likes of The Band, The Cult, Supertramp, and Soundgarden. Formed in the fall of 2000 by founding members vocalist Marc Arcand and guitarist Billy MacGregor, High Holy Days steadily rose from playing local bars around their home base of North Bay, Ontario, to dominating clubs and festivals across the country. 2002 saw High Holy Days sign a recording contract with RoadRunner Records/Universal Music and in 2003 they released their debut album ‘All My Real Friends' to both Canadian and US markets. Their Top 10 Canadian radio singles ‘All My Real Friends' and ‘The Getaway' rotated on mainstream rock radio and the nation's music video station, Much Music. The latter even found its way onto British and American airwaves. To support the album, HHD hit the road, touring across Canada with fellow rock acts Three Days Grace, Theory of a Deadman, The Trews, The Headstones and Default, while sharing the stage with the likes of Nickelback, Our Lady Peace and Sam Roberts. After two years of touring Canada and the UK, and a couple of line-up shuffles, the band hit the studio to begin recording a sophomore release. HHD travelled to Wigan, UK to begin tracking before returning to Canada to finish tracking in Wasaga Beach with renowned Juno Award nominated engineer/mixer Richard Chycki (Rush, Aerosmith, Dream Theater). Further tracking and mixing ensued at Blue Sound in Toronto with engineer/producer Russ Mackay (Styx, Gowan, Kim Mitchell). Unfortunately due to some major life changes and line-up shifts, the music was never officially released. The band decided to go on an unofficial hiatus, playing only occasional live shows for dedicated fans in the northern Ontario region. A studio was built in Arcand's house, allowing the band to write and record new music on their own terms, without the distraction of outside opinions, influences, or pressures. Fast forward to 2022, and not ones to rest on their laurels, High Holy Days are on their high horse and back in the saddle again. For HHD the summer of 2022 is all about playing live shows once again, and digitally releasing their EP ‘It's Not OK' from the previously unreleased music from their second album recording sessions on all music download and streaming platforms. It comes in a book format and also as individual cards. Each song on the album has a Tarot-like format that has Art on the front, the name of the song, and a brief statement at the bottom explaining the steps for participating in 'The Order' (our term for like-minded individuals who are serious about art and find meaning from it - including, and hopefully, our art!); the back has QR codes that take the user either to a play-through video of the song, the merch or the tour dates portions of our website. Another reason why we decided to create it was just to do something new and creative that people haven't seen before. This band, its music and its meaning are a long time coming for us, and we really want to do everything we can to make a mark."   For more information about the Tarot Cards and artwork, fans can read an exclusive "Behind The Cover"-interview with guitarist Kyle Neeley and drummer Paul Christiansen at Heaviest of Art: https://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?f=001jiySe_m3MqATRrAECDkPKALdpmV-BNkECLnrGkrkL9nHil_qKo_3aTrlhCAIfnHq8ID0UfeObYfWkcvdkAsgmepqdnSFcvNKdBZXZhXClGsM0RtmLtXw7nCRdIFSnTEGphBa8sEMPltO9na7UkQoXXVFluuf5G0qwh5eIcODg1-rbSnhPUmTrQzxf40DLozz-iUxoFotX9nBQDqjBFo0uA==&c=jGCQYr0IT5ILFTQQn8_mdcxWWw5AaB5tQVahhlswwXJuCV6lq0oJsg==&ch=MpXTH35hPpPB76cQ_3TcTKTQF5Pc2HNMzj_3aQwaPYlkHT5DlhGOHA== (https://www.heaviestofart.com/post/behind-the-cover-pathos-logos-cult)

Saliva is back with their first new music in 4 years. The first track, "Revelation Man," is very personal to singer Bobby Amaru who states, "Revelation man is about a guy who couldn't accept the struggles of his own addictions. He had to hit rock bottom to see the light. When I say “had to die to find a revelation.” I don't mean dying literally but there were moments in my life where I felt like I had. It particularly relates with me because of my sobriety of 3 1/2 years. I went through a lot of things before I got sober. " Saliva will continue to release tracks and ultimately a full album in 2022. The new music has a contemporary feel but sticks to the blue collar roots that their fans love. After acquiring front man Bobby Amaru in 2011, Saliva became infused with new blood, energy, and spirit. The same energy launched Saliva's career in 2001 with the release, _Every Six Seconds – a certified Double Platinum-selling album, containing the hits, “Click Click Boom” and 2002 Grammy nominated, “Your Disease.” Saliva's in-your-face, anthemic writing style continued with a certified Gold-selling album *Back in to Your System_ with hits: “Always,” “Raise Up,” and the Nikki Sixx co-written, “Rest In Pieces.”*
