Tommy Vext is a platinum selling singer songwriter that first rose to fame for his iconic cover of the Cranberries mega hit song Zombie with his former band Bad Wolves. Tommy left the band in January of 2021 and has since toured internationally with the band Ill Nino and has also released 2 cover albums and 2 solo albums on his own. Tommy's life and career has had plenty of controversial moments, but you can't deny the fact that he has always stayed true to himself and helped countless people through both his music and his philanthropy. In this episode we discuss sober living, becoming an independent artist, surrounding yourself with the right people, writing honest music, being vulnerable with others, overcoming adversity, giving back, and much more.
In this episode Bill talks with Vocalist Jason Neil of the band, Mind Incision. We talk about learning to play piano and write music at 11 years old, born in Medina Ohio but growing up in Loveland Colorado, the meaning behind Mind Incision and the power of frequencies, helping teens through The Awakening, and vocally speaking out on important topics to help their audience. We also talk about Corey Taylors inspiration, their recent tour with Mushroomhead and the positive reviews the band has gotten along the way, speaking out for the veteran community with their song Zero230, getting ready to tour with Tommy Vext, the importance of suicide awareness, healing from a narcissist, plus so much more. BAD WOLVES and GOD FORBID guitarist Doc Coyle joins us again on the latest edition of The Loaded Radio Podcast This week, we have an exclusive interview with BAD WOLVES' guitarist, Doc Coyle. BAD WOLVES has returned with their fourth studio album, "Die About It," their second to feature their second vocalist, Daniel "DL" Laskiewicz, formerly of THE ACACIA STRAIN. DL joined the band in 2021 after a tumultuous split with the original lead vocalist, Tommy Vext. Although the band's lineup has evolved since their inception and their breakthrough cover of THE CRANBERRIES' "Zombie," Laskiewicz's robust, powerful vocals have seamlessly filled the void left by Vext, which manages to preserve the band's signature sound so well. As for Doc Coyle's other project, GOD FORBID, the New Jersey-based melodic thrash-metal band reunited for a momentous performance at last year's Blue Ridge Rock Festival on September 10, 2022 at the Virginia International Raceway in Alton, Virginia. This marked GOD FORBID's first live appearance in over nine years. Since then, the band has made occasional appearances at events like LAMB OF GOD's "Headbangers Boat". In addition to his work with BAD WOLVES and GOD FORBID, Doc Coyle has been on the road recently with the horror-themed metalcore act ICE NINE KILLS, filling in for guitarist Dan Sugarman due to medical reasons, which has kept the musician exceptionally busy. And, let's not forget about his other musical venture, THE WEDDING BAND, which boasts notable members Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo from the legendary band METALLICA. In the podcast, Doc discusses the new BAD WOLVES album "Die About It", what's happening with GOD FORBID, touring with METALLICA and much, much more.
Daniel 'DL' Laskiewicz is a heavy metal vocalist for heavy metal band Bad Wolves. DL started out as the guitarist for metalcore band Acacia Strain, before replacing Tommy Vext in Bad Wolves in 2021. Bad Wolves scored a massive hit with their cover of The Cranberries 'Zombie'. However, the relationship with previous singer Vext turned sour over the next few years and led to an ugly departure in 2021. 'Die About It' (2023) is the first album that has DL's full contributions as a bandmember, and it in part deals with the negativity surrounding the band over the past few years. We spoke about a fresh start for the band, dealing with haters, his impact on the sound of the band, being authentic, live shows and more! This week on Toilet Radio we're back to our regularly scheduled programming and exploring some of the things we missed over the last month. First up: VextApp! Tommy Vext plans to release new music exclusively through a vanity app and honestly, it seems like this idiot might finally be on to a good idea. BECAUSE, Spotify is now cutting rev shares even lower and Bandcamp has been acquired by the Bain Capital of music licensing. Not great! Also, Aaron Lewis shares many characteristics with legit sociopaths! Thy Art is Murder did one of the funniest things we've ever seen a band do and it left Ronnie Radke sputtering in impotent rage! Hilarious! Finally, we take a look at the new Sick Sad World festival, Foo Fighters headlining Hell Fest(?) and Dee Snider continues to Al Bundy his one accomplishment in life. Folks...... it's good to be back. Like this show? Want more? Get hundreds of hours of exclusive content over at the Toilet ov Hell Patreon. You probably know Doc Coyle from the chart-topping rock band Bad Wolves or his podcast The Ex-Man or his first band God Forbid or maybe you saw him playing guitar in Ice Nine Kills and Lamb of God. Either way, if you're a fan of heavy music, you're familiar with Doc. On this episode we figure out if Nightmare Before Christmas is a Halloween or Christmas movie, if he'll ever call it WWE, what it's like touring with Metallica, cancel culture, the Tommy Vext drama and more. ------------ Theme Music by: LOVELESS https://open.spotify.com/artist/1MP7xlABJ13LtmHfG77SCJ?si=rfxQEIRmQhymL9BCnl13Yg TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@jesealee Instagram https://www.instagram.com/jesealee/ YouTube https://youtube.com/@JeseaLee Podcast on Spotify https://open.spotify.com/show/5ptN7bPT8MEYf3W1J28fAK?si=e2a2f7cc56904cd4 Spotify Playlists: https://open.spotify.com/user/1281170391?si=f063098bbc4a4c7f Subscribe to my newsletter: https://jesealee.substack.com/ Merch: https://my-store-11455576.creator-spring.com/ Everything else: https://www.jesealee.com/ --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/jesea-lee/message

We also talk about his son's musical career in the band Vended and how proud he is. Naturally, Slipknot came up so we discussed the tentative release date for the iconic band's long lost album and what fans should expect musically. Tommy Vext, is an American heavy metal singer and songwriter known as the former lead vocalist of Bad Wolves, Divine Heresy, and Westfield Massacre. As a solo act, he goes by The Lone Wolf. Vext began his music career in Brooklyn, New York as a teenager singing in local hardcore bands and engaging in freestyle rap battles with the neighborhood's preeminent hopefuls. Being too young, Vext had to sneak into clubs even for his own shows. In 1996, he formed the band Maniacal Disciple with friends Jim Donovan, Steve Perlmutter, and Mike Kontaras, eventually changing their name to "Vext" (a word he found in Wu-Tang Clan's lyrics), which eventually became his nickname after he started to be known as "Tommy Vext" in the New York hardcore scene. After his exit from Bad Wolves, Vext started a GoFundMe campaign for a solo record of original music. He also started uploading a series of cover songs he recorded in 2020 onto his YouTube account, as well as announcing tour dates for a "Fuck Cancel Culture Tour" in April 2021. His GoFundMe campaign raised over $175,000 before Vextstated on March 15, 2021 that he would not be releasing it due to being "financially bullied into submission.” In this episode, Brad and Tommy talk about everything and break down cancel culture as well as what has happened over the last three years in America. Tommy Vext formerly of the band Bad Wolves, Divine Heresy, and Westfield Massacre will join George in an unfiltered conversation about the music industry, cancel culture, world affairs, his new project The Lone Wolf and more! subscribe - www.meetmeforcoffee.co ______________________________________________________ Tommy Vext/ The Lone Wolf have released a brand new single titled "Trust the Science" featuring Billboard topping Hip-Hop artist and TikTok star, Topher to all major platforms. "'Trust the Science' is for all intensive purposes a protest anthem. It's a reflection of the damage that happens when people follow blind leaders for solutions that end up causing more harm than good. The song is also a homage to hospital workers and first responders who were unconventionally fired from their jobs for not participating in a mass medical experiment. We see you and we honor your integrity and sacrifice," says Vext. Tommy Vext is a rock singer and songwriter best known for being the lead singer of Bad Wolves, Snot and a short stint as the fill in lead singer for Five Finger Death Punch. Vext's passion for music came early. He began his career in Brooklyn, New York, as a teen making his rounds in the local hardcore scene. He created a name for himself by performing at famed venues like CBGB and many others. Over the years, Vext went on to create music and front many bands but his biggest success came when he founded and created Bad Wolves. With ten world tours, hundreds of millions of streams and most notably six number one hits, Vext's stage presence and powerful voice had solidified his place in the rock world for good, creating a loyal and rabid fan base. Though Bad Wolves first studio album Disobey was released in May of 2017, it wasn't until May of 2018 when they found record breaking and chart topping success with their breakthrough cover of the Cranberries single "Zombie". This single topped the Billboard mainstream rock charts for weeks and charted in many other territories globally. One of the most viewed music videos on the internet, "Zombie" has been watched upwards of 400 million times. Before her passing, TMZ obtained audio of the original singer Delores O'Riordan offering to sing on the cover. Considered a love letter by many the video views continue to grow. In January of 2021 Vext was pushed out of the band he created over differences of opinions regarding his social and political ideologies. Not falling victim to cancel culture, Vext continued to create music, tour and use his voice to do things the way he wants, when he wants. Known as one of the most prolific and provocative men in rock music, Tommy Vext is just getting started. credit: O'Donnell Media Group

Tommy Vext wouldn't be alive today were it not for grace — and a phone call. The heavy metal singer and songwriter was poised to throw himself in front of a train when a young kid in the throes of addiction reached out for help. That one decision — to answer his phone and step up as a sober brother — saved Tommy's life and kept the former lead vocalist for Bad Wolves on a path that today serves as an inspiration to everyone who comes into contact with him and his message. This episode of the Roll-Call with Chappy podcast unspools a career and life trajectory like none other — from unimaginably low lows to a life full of personal and professional highs; from multiple near-death experiences to transcendent peace and inspiration within his recovery.Host Peter “Chappy” Meyerhoff takes Tommy through an amazing set of life milestones. You'll hear about the traumatic childhood roots that shaped the life of Thomas Cummings, who grew up a biracial New York kid in a home dominated by addiction and mental illness. Their conversation touches on the emotional toll that violence took on Tommy's family — and the powerful ways in which 12-step recovery ultimately transformed his life, as well as his loved ones'. He has gone from being a young boy powerless to protect his mom, to buying her the safe, comfortable home in which she lives her life today, supporting others through her work with AlAnon. It's all about breaking the cycle, showing up and doing the work. “We're not in the results business. We're in the work business. We try to show up and do what's right and wonderful things happen,” says Tommy, who has 37 songs ready for release, a forthcoming biography and plans to tour internationally. You'll appreciate Tommy's brutal honesty about the fear, pain and loss he suffered repeatedly coming up — even as he somehow resisted relapse. Whether confronting his brother's homicidal mania or working with musicians who don't share his ethos, Tommy explains why nothing shakes his bedrock of 13 years' sobriety: “There are no mistakes in God's world.”Connect with Tommy Vext:Website - https://www.tommyvextofficial.com/Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/freetommyvext/Facebook -Twitter - https://twitter.com/TVext?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^authorYouTube - https://www.youtube.com/c/TheLoneWolfMusicSpotify - https://open.spotify.com/artist/2eaZxHkhdNugJwlaKQWewj?si=70CnalImQ_a0u0NH82NASw&nd=1Apple Music - https://music.apple.com/us/artist/tommy-vext/968802571Connect with Peter Meyerhoff:Website: https://petermeyerhoff.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/peter_meyerhoff/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/people/Peter-Meyerhoff/100008245219126/TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@theoriginalchappy?lang=enYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpa6ABvtPcSSwM2LJvuLv0w
