While it did fail to launch into a regular series it did get another one shot special.

By Patreon request The Desert Rat descends down into the world of the paranormal. This is a complex web, entangled as any cultural order ever devised. For many years it stood out on the fringes of polite society, but over the last decade or so it has come into the focus of popular culture. There is no earthly way to tackle the subject in an hour or even a week, therefore we will start an open file...maybe there's a pun intended. Like any other investigation, first we need to round up the usual suspects. This podcast will discuss three of them, and The Rat is starting old school. Every tree has a root, and if you can comprehend the origins, then you can get a better grasp of what's really going on. Let's shine a light into the darkness and find out what we can see. Click on over to WIWC and sign up for their Patreon services. Retro pop culture being remembered and recorded one podcast at a time. Five bucks gets you access to almost 2000 podcasts already with more being added almost every day. Half a decade strong, and gathering speed- But if you hurry, there is probably still time to be considered one of the founding members. And while you are at Patreon, sign up and boost my tag team partner Eric Darcy's podcast as well, and get leveled uncut versions of the wrestling with the dawg podcast, sometimes weeks before they are heard on the WIWC site proper, plus some neat extras.

Courtesy of the Peacock Channel I bring you the DIRT WORST show I have watched in a long time- Airwolf from 1984. This show seemed to have all the ingredients to appeal to me- a super jet helicopter, military fightin', and the 1980s. But it has too much going against it. For one, Ernest Borgnine, but he wasn't even close to the worst thing in it. This show was the most melodramatic bucket full of bad stereotypes it would have been almost unwatchable had it not been so hilarious. Then eye-patch dude shows up and tells a story. Then I hated it so much I loved it.
