The mental health of Clare's young people is said to be taking a hit because there's "nowhere to rent" and "nowhere to buy". A new report from the National Youth Council of Ireland has found that housing and the cost of living are the issues of most concern to young people in this country. Following extensive surveying of people between the ages of 18 and 29 nationwide, the National Youth Council of Ireland has published 'State of our Young Nation" report. The findings show, arguably unsurprisingly, that housing and the rising cost of living are the greatest for concerns for young people, having been cited by 76% and 62% respectively. At 48%, almost half of participants are dissatisfied with their current housing situations, while more than half have experienced an increase in their rental or mortgage payments in the last year. The latest RTB figures show the average rent for a new tenancy in Clare has risen by almost 20% to €1,145 in the space of a year and there are currently just 18 properties to rent here on Daft.ie. While, the average price from a home in this county is up by nearly 10% to €256,174. Ardnacrusha native and Fianna Fáil local election Rachel Hartigan believes supply needs to be rapidly increased to address the scarcity of places for young people to live. The Simon Community's new Locked Out of the Market report has found there were only 38 properties within the discretionary rate of the Housing Assistance Payment available nationwide last month. In addition, 10 out of the 16 areas surveyed had no HAP properties available for rent. Regional Manager for Emergency Accommodation at Midwest Simon, Jonathan Shinnors claims his organisation is having difficulty recruiting young staff because so many people are emigrating due to not being able to find housing.
Fifty-three years ago, Bangladesh finally obtained independence from Pakistan, at the cost of a war that left nearly 3 million people dead. Since then, the nation has developed into one of Asia's most dynamic economies, thanks in particular to the textile industry. The garment industry brings in more than $55 billion a year, making Bangladesh the world's second-largest clothing exporter, just behind China. FRANCE 24 takes a closer look at the Bangladesh of today, a country that has fully embraced globalisation.

Remember under the banner of God's blessing how when we go to war, how our enemy are to flee! My Bible says: "The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against the one way, and flee before these seven ways." (Deuteronomy 28:7) so you see when we have the Lord as our general we don't have to worry about retreat we come out victoriously. But now that Satan has planted sin in the camp, we now have these nations who rise up and bolster there power against the US, why? Because Satan knows he has put sin in the camp, and he knows God will not support a people that harbors sin. So Satan pushes the nation's to flex their muscle. But the difference between them winning a battle against the USA is just a sin repentance today and prayer away! Let us learn from history that with God on our side who can be against us? (Romans 8:28-39) paraphrased read it. Now our Young Nation is only 247 years young; but even we have some history where we have invoked the name of the Lord on our behalf and we have won victorious battles let us call upon the name of the Lord our God today to help us get sin out of the camps, lives and homes, so we can stop having these murderous acts taking place in our schools, homes, churches and public gatherings places, be it in our parks, streets, state capitols etc., let us call on the name of the Lord to bring our nation back in order under His banner of love, receiving His blessings not curses.Contact: heavensprayerlink.com, we love to pray with you, God bless you. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/heavensprayerlink/support

What do the Jay Treaty, the Logan Act, Fries' Rebellion, and the Alien and Sedition Acts have to do with this time? Are they all connected? We are taking a short break from our series on Charles I this week. Instead we will be discussing the XYZ Affair. The 1790s in America were almost as messy as the 1640s in England. There was trouble with both France and England. The United States had treaties with both nations, and those treaties conflicted. When the French Revolution wiped the Monarchy away, war with England was inevitable. The combination of the conflicting treaties and the expectation for the United States allegiance further divided American politics. When the French minister, Genet, tried to use the United States as a staging area for France to attack both England and Spain, there was resentment. When the French minister Talleyrand attempted to bribe the United States, there were calls for war... and there actually was a two year Quasi War fought from 1798-1800. President John Adams made a lot of mistakes during these tense years, but in the end, he may have saved the country. There are a lot of lessons here for our day. Audio Production by Podsworth Media.
