Ep 177 - One World in a New World Apocalyptic Chat Clips Join Zen Benefiel in this thought-provoking series, "Awakening Moments," where he leads apocalyptic chats that challenge conventional wisdom and offers a roadmap to evolving leadership through regenerative practices and cosmic wisdom. Gain cosmic wisdom and discover a roadmap to regenerative and evolving leadership. Through thought-provoking discussions, clips of over 20 conversations, Zen engages guests to share their insights on self-discovery, accountability, and the journey towards a sustainable, harmonious world. Tune in and take part in this transformative exploration of human potential and unity. We are all relatives; we all come from the same Source. Whether we agree on the name or not, we're one planet, one people. This is our opportunity to step up and demonstrate intelligence in unity. Today, science has bridged the gap with spirituality, and what quantum physics, quantum mechanics, and Quantum Sciences are beginning to reveal is what Vedantic philosophy has held all along: we are all energy, emanating from the same Source. Each of us is a divine thread, incarnate, with the capacity to be gods and goddesses through the Consciousness we embody. We face challenges in understanding our purpose, often constrained by societal and organizational structures, whether corporate or religious. With a vision of “One World,” we can share the responsibility that brings each of us to a level of personal accountability. Rather than calling this a New Age, we might better call it the “Age of Accountability”—a time to be responsible for what we do and how we act. Welcome to "One World in a New World," where ambition meets innovation in co-creating a new normal. Here, we explore the “thoughtmosphere,” embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery, and embrace harmony—with ourselves, with others, and with Mother Earth. Zen Benefiel skillfully guides these conversations, revealing personal journeys and perspectives through enlightening “apocalyptic chats,” inspiring listeners to seek knowledge and wisdom in their own lives. Join us in this transformative journey as we delve into the depths of the human experience, exploring the inner and outer realities and bridging them through conscious understanding. When decision-makers set goals that seem impossible to achieve, it is important to take a step back and recalibrate. They may do this because they aim to help you to stretch beyond your previous best performance. Sometimes this happens because you and your team have been able to achieve the more difficult goals at great sacrifice, and because you have proven that it can be done, the goals for the next few years prove to be even more difficult. The more you achieve, the more is expected of you. Listen in and learn more about Realistic Goal Setting with Yvette. At work, feedback is necessary. It shows up in performance coaching sessions when a person is not sure how to do something or when a person is not inclined to do their research. The intention behind offering feedback is to influence change or modify behavior. However, when it is offered in the form of criticism, even when it is skillfully presented using a non-judgmental tone, people on the receiving end can still feel attacked, disappointed in themselves, or embarrassed. This can lead to reactions such as withdrawal, defensiveness, or even anger. When criticism is extreme, it can be perceived as condescending or even bullying. When this happens, organizations can lose good people, or impair productivity. Listen in as Yvette Bethel explores how you can restructure feedback to create lasting connections. Business owners and executives know quality customer and client care can help differentiate their brand, products, and services so they often lament the poor customer service attitudes displayed by front-line employees. Paradigms contain a set of assumptions, beliefs and theories that make up a world view. Fun, innovation, fear, control, and some traditions are paradigms that you encounter, sometimes they coexist with each other. According to Staci Friedel, “Paradigm blindness (is a state that) keeps us from creating something new because we firmly believe the way we see it, is the way it is and the way it will always will be. Paradigm Blindness shuts down innovative problem solving and creativity.” Join Evolve host Yvette Bethel as she shares with you how paradigm blindness can affect you and what you can do about it.
