We finally get a strong first glimpse of our DAWGS for this upcoming season. Hopefully the coaching staff in Athens and Georgia fans all over will gain some roster clarity. We also have made some big strides in recruiting gaining the commitment of an under the radar ELITE WR from NWGA. That said, the biggest news of the day , of the week, and of the month is that Georgia Men's Basketball will attempt to win their first tournament game in over 20 years . Georgia related Athletics are on FIRE right now. Name a sport and UGA is likely killing it. Pickleball National Championships are coming soon at this rate. That said, Georgia Men's Basketball has punched their ticket to the tournament known for March Madness. Georgia Spring practice started this week and Dan Jackson had pro scouts drooling, rectifying the snub when they skipped his name for the combine. The dust has finally settled and the Ohio State Buckeyes hath defeated the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame to demonstratively capture the most coveted National Championship. The CFP season is finally finished but Georgia Football never stops. LOTS has transpired since our last episode and we get into it all. That said, there will be many former Georgia players still taking the field for one last game in the form of Super Bowl Sunday. After an evil terrorist attack happened in NOLA and postponed the Wednesday game- the mood of the week had inevitably shifted. After Georgia suffered a loss, us fans soon later heard of the passing of Kirby Smart's Dad, Sonny Smart. Truly way more than football was on the minds for the majority of Georgia fans. We mourn for all those who experienced loss this week. We especially, lift up the Smart family and all those who knew Sonny Smart. All in all it has been a bare minimum a very exciting season for Georgia. From comebacks coming up short to the Hateful 8 against Tech, this season was one to remember ! Carson Beck is officially out after much success as Georgia's QB post Stetson Bennett. Now, the keys to the kingdom have been handed over and entrusted for now to Gunner Stockton. Georgia is back in the A playing under the lights at Mercedes Benz Stadium for the second time this season. This go round the stakes are much higher. While our DAWGS defeated Texas earlier in the year, we are confident that both teams will be putting their best foots forward for this rematch. Will Arch Manning be more of a factor this game? Georgia made a statement on Saturday. The major W has them placed inside the playoff at number ten. Despite all the naysayers, Carson Beck and Mike Bobo, over came the previous blunders to collaboratively kick Tennessee's ass in Athens. In a marquee matchup against the top ten ranked Volunteers, Kirby led the DAWGS to another primetime victory in front of a sold out rambunctious crowd. 90K plus fans dressed in black from head to toe helped create an elite environment that propelled sweet UGA to victory. Many UGA players will be getting paid NFL dollars in the near future. For some it seemed like a forgone conclusion they would be pro, and for others it's truly a testament to the level of developmental standards at UGA under the tutelage of the entire staff & of course master talented developer himself, coach Kirby Smart. Big news for the QB room as we speak our optimism of the newcomer with ALL the intangibles . NBA playoffs are in full swing and major legends like Lebron, Steph, and KD are all set to be watching from home. Strange times, and as always a great time to be a DAWG !

This is the best roster in CFB. Saturday in Sanford stadium the Dawgs ended Spring ball with their annual G-day scrimmage and put on a showcase of talent, execution, and depth. The 20-20 score says more about the talent throughout the roster than the lack of OT rules. The transfer portal opens 4/16 and runs through the month, then the Dawgs will shift to offseason workouts in prep for fall camp. The NBA play-in starts tonight with the Laker vs Pels & Warriors vs Kings. Braves start Game 2 @ Houston.
