"Shovelware" is a term that had a spike in popularity for expressing the games seen during the Wii's time to shine. The more popular a console is, the more likely it will have a dumpster of shovelware made by cynical number-crunching developers. Let's get into this! Follow us on facebook.com/arrogantmedia
Every so often, Dirk will mention about what he refers to as "dad gaming". What is that exactly? This week, the bros get into what categories and descriptions describe the kind of game that you would find today's dad playing. Like your dad having his model railroads or model ships in a bottle, dads needs to have their hobbies, the very things making them feel grounded as they take on the difficulties of life. Are there any games you can think of described by the podcast episode? Let us know in the comments below! Give us a like on facebook.com/arrogantmedia
Did Extra Credits make another bad argument? Of course they did and here at Super Arrogant Bros, we carry disdain for those with a big subscriber base but with small-brained arguments from people who don't understand that there are fantasy creatures that have the mental capacity to just be evil or at the very least, a nuisance needing to be purged. If you like what we do and want to support us, we do not have a way to financially do so at the time being (thanks a fucking lot, PayPal) but, one of our goals is to get the Arrogant Media YouTube channel up to 1,000 subscribers. The hype has finally lead us to this moment. After two Godzilla films that bored Dirk, we now have Godzilla vs Kong. Did Dirk actually enjoy this one? Was it better than the original? Will Dirk now have an American Godzilla film that he can comfortably recommend? These answer may surprise you. Also in this episode, we talk about the disastrous release of Outriders. However, Stev took the time to give this game a fair shot and can give his honest impressions. Hint: he likes it more than Borderlands. Meanwhile, Dirk will be going over why he refunded Solasta after having so much excitement from what the game promised. Follow us on facebook.com/arrogantmedia
We've talked about getting into Warhammer 40K but, have you heard us try to get you into Warhammer: Age of Sigmar? Not so much. Here, Stev is able to finally share more information about Age of Sigmar and as a bonus, we will be talking about why we think Warhammer has been able to do so much better than games that are still worth your time from Privateer Prees, Warmachines and Hordes. Do you play Age of Sigmar and if so, what factions do you like? You may have also heard of a little movie that came out. No big deal, just something called Zack Snyder's Justice League. We watched this four-hour behemoth of a film and do we have some positive thoughts about this movie for you. Right now, these are our first impressions but, we will be going further into this films after the dust has settled. Follow us on facebook.com/arrogantmedia
Before we get into the main topic of the episode, we were given a copy of 30XX to review and damn, is it good. Have you ever spent hours in a role-playing game and asked yourself, "What am I actually doing?" Any RPG enthusiast will dive into a game and have those points where they feel like they're not so much grinding but also wasting their time with shit to do. The very thought of this brings up specific games and for this episode, we wanted to talk about what the difference is between time wasters and side quests. We could title this episode "Why The Witcher 3 Beats Dragon Age Inquisition". As a follow up to last episode, justice has been served in the court of Zombaekillz vs YouTube. You may think YouTube is pretty incompetent in how they handle reporting but, we're pleasantly surprised. Like what we do? We could talk to death about the state of Star Trek and Star Wars. We could talk about Kathleen Kennedy ruining the Star Wars Franchise or the firing of Gina Carano just like your favorite YouTubers who are raking in money discussing these subjects. Or. We could do something very different. We could instead talk about something very dear to Stev and that is Stargate. From the movie to SG-1 to Atlantis, Stev has been so passionate about this series and by god, we will talk about this thing you need to get into. In gaming news, we will be touching on the change in leadership for Hogwarts Legacy and the spicy online slap fight between Zombaekillz and The Quartering's Jeremy. Will Super Arrogant Bros ever shut up about Warhammer 40K? God, no! This week, we found out that Wizards of the Coast announced that there will be new Warhammer 40K themed Magic: the Gathering cards. As people who have enjoyed both hobbies, we are surprisingly not excited for it. We'll be getting into a deeper discussion over the communities from the hobbies and comparing the two. Anita Sarkeesian has been rearing her head to show that she exists for the last few years no matter how much people have wanted to forget that she exists. This time, it was enough for Dirk to want to speak up against Anita's practices which includes the lack of responsibility she has had for her followers. We do want to mention that you should not be reaching out to anyone that we talk about on this episode however, subscribing to Liana Kerzner is completely encouraged. After seven years of work, everything seems to be crashing down for the developers from finding out an artist of theirs is into making sexually disgusting material to having their Discord raided to the mod having the kind of bugs and glitches that would make Todd Howard blush. Star Wars has certainly seen brighter days and we could be in one of those occasions. With a successful and well-enjoyed new season of The Mandalorian, it's time to have a seat and talk about what's going on with the current state of Star Wars. In discussions of Star Wars, there are grifters, shills and there are those who use rumors to build up clicks for their garbage journalism. We're here for the comfy discussion by the fire. Come join us. As a bonus discussion, remember Dic and their awful cartoons? Dirk certainly does and he's here to express what made them so bad compared to the end of the dark ages of animation brought to us by Ren and Stimpy. Charlatans, swindlers, they're everywhere. They come in all shapes, sizes and colors and they're after stuff for free. This episode, we dive into how Zombaekillz abuses her platform and identity in order to get free consoles including the Xbox Series X and the Playstation 4 and how companies are just giving them. Remember when Doom was such a hit that it lead to so many "Doom clones"? This week, we wanted to talk about the possibility of over saturation in gaming that can lead to burnout. Bonus topic, our childhoods might explain how we were so socially off when growing up.

Every once in a while, a free-to-play game comes out and surprises us with the popularity that it gains. This time, it's Genshin Impact, a game out for both PC and consoles. What's it like? Some are talking about this game as if it's a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Of course, this isn't the only big discussion we have. Larian Studios is getting accusations of going SJW in their work but, are they really? Is this perhaps a non-issue blown out of proportion by certain morons for clickbait (it is)? Feel that? That change we can believe in? The future is coming. Joking aside, it seems like we're on the beginnings of a console war which we haven't felt in a long time. Last year, there were online journalists trying to claim that orcs are a racist depiction in The Lord of the Rings. With the complexity that can come from a game like Warhammer 40K, sometimes, the best thing to do is give a clean slate with a new edition of the game.
