April talked about her healing from anxiety and depression, and how she used dream interpretation as a guide to heal some deep rooted trauma and unhappiness. She learned from a good friend and her daughter to live joyously by being open minded and allowing herself to live outside of the boxes she had been living in. By seeing the possibilities she set herself free.  April is a dream interpreter, based in Dayton, Ohio who helps spiritual seekers understand their life purpose, discover their gifts and heal early trauma. She had a spiritual awakening in 2012 and began analyzing her own dreams in 2015 after years of searching and finally finding this Holy Grail of self discovery. Destiny led her to an amazing teacher who showed her how to use her dreams to identify her life purpose, spiritual gifts and personal blocks. Scoring an 8 (out of 10) on the ACE's childhood trauma test substantiated her need for a deep journey into healing. She has gone from recurring anxiety and depression to experiencing deeper life fulfillment. April became an impassioned dream interpreter and began converting her skills into services since identifying her spiritual gifts and healing her own core wounds. April uses the Aisling (ASH-ling) Method of dream interpretation in combination with channeling, teaching and counseling to help dreamers dive head first into the life they are meant to be living.

Recently, she completed a Mental Health First Aid Certification where she gained a deeper understanding into having conversations around mental health and connecting others with the proper resources. Bridget and I wanted you all to get to know us, the women behind TTT. You all hear and see what appears to be the finished product, but we are both still a work in progress. And in this episode, I share my journey of healing, from beginning to present day. A phrase I have tatted on my right forearm sums this episode up pretty well, "the process produces the product". My process/healing journey has produced and molded me into the woman I am today. I am not merely what you all see and hear now, it took a rollercoaster of a ride to get me here, and it wasn't without bumps and bruises. AND, I am still becoming, so stay tuned. I hope someone can resonate with my story and be empowered to trust yourself, the process, and more importantly, your higher being, and for me that is God. You'll need to have trust and faith in order to endure and to persevere on the journey, and for it all to make sense.

As a result of beginning therapy for the first time in her life, Anikka found herself asking herself the question “Who am I, really?” And from that point on Anikka has been unlocking and unpacking all the things that has contributed to how she shows up so that she can live a more fulfilling life. Experiencing a whirlwind of family trauma (illness and death) all at once, Anikka found herself on the verge of coming undone, and finally chose to do things differently. Since beginning therapy, Anikka has been getting the tools that she needs to better manage herself and her responsibilities, and empowering her family to do the same. She has been modeling for her family what it takes to heal, and for them not to rely on her as “Super Woman”. Anikka is taking on a new super power, self preservation, so that her and her family will be better off. A Dayton native, Anikka is a devoted wife, a loving mother of 2 and dedicated daughter. For over 24years Anikka has served her community by encouraging, empowering and uplifting women through beauty services. In 2004 she opened Girlfriends beauty salon. While nurturing a sizable clientele, Anikka has mentored many successful salon professionals in the Dayton area. In recent years Anikka has shifted her focus to wellness, she became a certified Trichologist in 2019, seeking the root cause of hair loss for many of her clients. During her studies she learned about the benefits hemp. She has since witnessed its magic in her life and the lives of her loved ones. Now as an advocate for alternative therapies, Anikka is on a mission to educate her community on the natural options available to them. Ny shares her story about healing through many life shifting changes that truly tested her faith and her endurance. She vulnerably shares insights into her exploring her sexuality, finding out and overcoming having a brain tumor and undergoing two brain surgeries, being diagnosed with situational depression, and in the midst of all this still finding joy, peace, and strength.

The pandemic rocked the ground that once felt solid for her, and Paige saw an opportunity to work on herself first, and then to deal with and make hard life decisions in regard to relationships, and then to work ON her business instead of just IN it, and in doing all of these things Paige was able to identify how she should operate that serves her best going forward.  Paige Walker is a master aesthetician and healer of more than a decade. Through her own traumas, healing, and personal growth she has been able to help others by providing comfort in a safe space. Throughout the years she has developed the skill to meet client's needs through beauty and beyond. She continues to learn more about herself daily and how to lovingly serve those around her for their highest good.

A three time cancer survivor, Vicki began to face the impact of childhood trauma and the trauma of pushing through everything when she found herself facing 60 years old, an age she was told she would never reach. Vicki shares about the process of therapy, changing brain chemistry, and the impact on her family. Vicki is passionate about her community, her work in health policy and finding ways to improve the health and wellbeing of children living in poverty. As partner at CBD Advisors for the past six years, Vicki is recognized as an expert who can help healthcare and corporate clients successfully navigate strategic issues, policy and politics. Prior to that, she served as the vice president for strategic partnerships and business development for Dayton Children's Hospital for 24 years. There, she led the nationally recognized public affairs, advocacy, philanthropy, marketing and physician referral programs and still leads their government relations efforts. Vicki is active with the Boys & Girls Club of Dayton, Pink Ribbon Girls, Vote for Ohio's Kids and Groundwork. A two-time graduate of the University of Dayton, she teaches Health Policy in the school of Public Administration. Vicki earned fellow status in the American College of Healthcare Executives and is board certified in health care administration. In service to her community, Vicki served for eight years on the Beavercreek City Council including as vice Mayor and Mayor.
