Prayer is the most important and powerful thing we can involve ourselves in every day of our lives. But... how many live like they believe that? Spoiler, it's not enough. In this episode, I talk about the top reasons people say they don't pray, and give ways to solve those reasons. I then examine the prayer life of Jesus and some of the valuable lessons we learn from His example. Lastly, I end with 3 tips for praying more, staying focused, and knowing what to say. Thank you for listening, and be sure to follow because I have another episode coming on the heels of this one very soon. (I apologize, the video does cut out after 30 minutes.)

In collaboration with our good friend David Puentes, who you'll hear is the moderator, and EYR (End Time Youth Revival), we present "The 5 Fold Ministry Forum." This recording occurred on Aug. 26th, 2023 at the EYR in LA. This conversation provides excellent insights about the 5 fold ministry mentioned in scripture in Ephesians ch.4. The panelists that you will be hearing are Jonathan Sanders, Caleb Herring, Jacob Torres, Jesse Cornejo, and David Ramirez. We encourage you to not only hear this forum but take it as a prompt to study the scriptures yourself and see what the Lord will show you personally about the 5 fold, and your place in it.

Bro. Josh Abrego is a professor at Christian Life College. He is a man of prayer, study, and passion as you will hear in this episode. He is currently finishing his thesis for his PhD. in Philosophy and Theology and his knowledge comes through in this conversation. The initial idea for this episode came to me while listening to Bro. Abrego's podcast, "The Certain Sound." He was interviewing Pastor Lopez and discussing spiritual disciplines. I highly recommend listening to that episode. Andre is one of my best friends, he challenges me in my walk with God often, and I am thrilled to have him on the Flow again! If you remember, Andre was my very first guest on the podcast two years ago. Wow, how time flies. He has since graduated from CLC (Christian Life College) and now serves in the Fresno area and frequently travels in ministry. It was a privilege to do this episode in person across from one another in my home. This is a special episode for me. I have since day one wanted to get my dad on here to do an episode and the time has finally come. This week after Father's day seemed like the best time. The topics I could have covered in this one were endless, but I couldn't think of a better one than that of prayer. My dad has taught me to pray by praying consistently for my whole life. I can truly say prayer is probably the most consistent and important thing in his life. If you're looking for a "hack" or shortcut to a powerful prayer life you won't find those things in this episode, but there are some foundational principles shared that if applied and maintained will lead to the greatest relationship you could ever have.
My guest this week is none other than my sister! Give her a follow @AutumnDHart. Enjoy this fun, goofy, but wise convo - because she has wisdom. We talk about coffee to start, books to get rolling, then she gives a bit of a personal testimony of how the Lord has been working in her life as she trusts the process and has waited for God's timing. Enjoy! And if you're in the giving mood, please leave a 5-star review so others will see and believe the podcast is actually good.

Welcome to another episode of The Flow where I talk life, ministry, and walking in the Spirit. In this episode I'm joined by friend, minister, teacher Morgan Ellis. We get into a lot in this episode, too much to list here so you'll just have to listen. Enjoy!
David is a worship leader at Harvest in Lebanon, MO, a husband and dad, an entrepreneur, and a helper here a little and there a little. I know our listeners will love David like I do and relate in many ways as we talk about his Bible school days, day-to-day ministry, and continual preparation for ministry. Sit back and enjoy. As always, thanks for listening.
A very lighthearted episode with family reminiscing about our favorite vacation memories while we made new ones. Also, we answer Instagram questions from our audience. Sorry it's about a month and a half late. Featured in this episode are @autumndhart and @lincoln_dimock and our moms.
We are back and ready to roll! Kicking things off is this man of God, Garrett Ray! As a fellow coffee connoisseur, we of course begin with some coffee talk and find out what we have brewing. Then we talk about calling and how to know when you are called when you don't have a dramatic audible moment. Ministry, preparation, routine, and travel - just a few of the areas we talk about. Lastly, we talk about the source of validation and having confidence in God. Follow Garrett on Instagram for some killer cappuccino pours @_garrett_ray Also, follow us @theflow.podcast

You may have heard of him; our guest today just released a new powerful single titled "The World Needs Me." If you haven't heard this song yet, we are sure you will be compelled to by the end of this episode. With our guest Kevin Pace, we discuss his background as a Missionary/Pastors kid and being born in Africa. Then we talk about God leading Him to Christian Life College and eventually inspiring the song "The World Needs Me." As people "of The Spirit" we can depend on inspiration over giving the proper amount of time to preparation. Or we can depend fully on preparation and not allow the Spirit to work. In this episode, we talk about how we are learning the balance of both instead of relying on one or the other. Thank you for following along with us as we finally made it to ten full episodes! As usual, sit back and enjoy your cup of joe while we talk about being creatives in the Kingdom. Continuing in the vein of conversation about ministry, we want to continue to change the perspective of what ministry is and can be. Each of us (Justin and Joel) are big-time creatives, but we each express that creativity in different ways so we explore those differences some today.
Less about ministry and more about day-to-day life this episode digs into the importance of having spiritual fruit. Having the fruit of the Spirit is in the same context as walking in the Spirit. Where and with who we spend our time in fellowship is the key to what our life will produce. This episode is more of a Bible study format, and hopefully less of our opinions. As always, we also get into practical applications for daily life, specifically for how to better produce the fruit of The Spirit. We begin this episode by talking about how church culture can form our idea of the ministry to be something that is such a small part of what ministry really is, and that thing is "pulpit ministry". We have even started hearing people say, "I'm called to preach," and what they mean a lot of times is they're called to the pulpit. In this episode, we want to expand the perspective and give a more complete and real view of what ministry entails. Maybe because you don't feel a calling to preach in a pulpit you have disqualified yourself as a minister. If this is you, then I believe you will find this episode helpful and encouraging. As always, thank you for listening. Follow The Flow on Instagram. Your hosts, Justin & Joel
Justin and I join with yet another friend from college, David Puentes. We were roommates together for a year and worked together serving the student body the same year. David is a young evangelist in Northern California and follows after the voice and heart of God. We continue with talking about walking in the flow of the Holy Ghost and how that looks on a day to day basis.

Welcome to 2021 and the first episode of the Flow. Thank you to all who are joining again or for the first time! I realized that I had yet to really explain what this podcast is all about and what "The Flow" means, so that's what this episode is about. If you enjoy this podcast and know of someone who's life it might benefit, then consider sharing.
There is a lot of fake out there and on here, but there is something about someone who is just REAL. I don't want to compare myself to someone else because I'm not where there are and shouldn't try to be who they are. I want to be exactly the individual God wants me to be. Each individual makes up the whole. See the video on Instagram and YouTube
