Feel valued as a woman, healing trauma at the root – for full embodiment, empowerment and creative sovereignty.
Through oceans of time, women have been in some form of subjugated position and have looked outside of ourselves for our spiritual path and autonomy over our own bodies. This has resulted in a collective power imbalance that helps neither men nor women. Our collective dissociation from, general disgust with and medicalisation of the womb and menstrual cycle, has put a woman's womb in a vulnerable position, leaving the door open for patriarchal systems based on external authority and validation, to take power over a woman's reproductive system and cyclic nature. However, there IS a movement of women, a movement of consciousness, that wants to redress this imbalance. In order to actualise this shift, we as women must make the changes within and take responsibility for our own body, our own empowerment, and our own evolution. This Ceremony gives the framework, guidance and practices to embody our seat of power, The Sacred Womb. Or construct your own Ceremony – my message here is that we CAN redress the power imbalance by doing the inner work.Upcoming dates of Self-Initiation Ceremonies Support the show

I discuss bleeding in tune with The Moon and how we can access our own answers. As we awaken to the sheer magic of our menstrual cycle, many of us wonder when the ‘right' time to bleed is in relation to The Moon phases. This is totally understandable, and after centuries of estrangement from our Power, we want it back, we want it now! But patience, listening and detaching ourselves from the should's and shouldn'ts are just another aspect of the process of empowerment. And whenever we experience a Should or Shouldn't – we can utilise it to point us towards our Truth. Listen to the end for an exercise to help you tune into what your cycle is currently communicating. While these are all part of a natural positive approach to fertility generally it's these three aspects that have specifically grabbed hold of her.In writing this book together with Alexandra Pope, they sought to advocate truly informed choice, contraceptive literacy and partners sharing responsibility for their fertility. The book includes many practical tips about thinking through contraceptive needs and STD protection. ‘One of the many manifestations of the mother wound is the pattern of the “parentified daughter.'Bethany WebsterA simple definition of a parentified daughter is when a daughter plays the role of mother for her own mother; the roles are reversed.Often a parentified daughter must grow up very fast and loses the chance to be a child, as she is expected to manage the emotional and/or physical needs of her mother and/or father.'This is Part 2 of the Healing The Mother Wound series that Bethany and I recorded together. We discuss Bethany's article ‘Parentified Daughters as Female Leaders; Keys To Your Emergence‘ how to take steps to heal this and what it can mean for us as we emerge.I hope it's useful for you. I'd love to know your thoughts, reflections, insights after reading.ABOUT BETHANYBethany Webster is a writer, transformational coach, international speaker and what you could call a midwife of the heart. Her work is focused on helping women heal the “mother wound” so that they can step into their full feminine power and potential. In addition to writing and teaching internationally, Bethany offers online courses and a private coaching program for women leaders who desire to take a quantum leap in their leadership. ‘What many people do not realise is that the core issue at the center of women's empowerment is the mother wound'BETHANY WEBSTER‘Difficulty and challenges between mothers and daughters are rampant and widespread but not openly spoken about. The taboo about speaking about the pain of the mother wound is what keeps it in place and keeps it hidden in shadow, festering and out of view.'I found Bethany's article Parentified Daughters as Female Leaders; Keys To Your Emergence and it immediately struck a chord.I knew I simply had to speak to Bethany, to thank her, and find out more about her work and share it with as many women as possible. So here it is; part 1 of a conversation I had with Bethany on Healing The Mother Wound.Part 2 goes into the Parentified Daughter.I hope it's useful for you.
