Presented by Rev. Carolyn Swift Jones. “And on the first day of the week, in the deep dark of dawn, they went to the tomb, carrying the aromatic spices that they had prepared, but they found the stone rolled away…” This is how the Gospel of Luke sets the scene for what will become a stunning, glorious Easter morning. We hope you enjoy this every special Easter service in which we celebrate the knowing that darkness is the womb of Light and death is the cradle of a new beginning! “Why are you looking among the dead for someone who's alive?” – Luke 24:5Support the show (https://www.unityinthefoothillsct.org/give)

Message and music presented by Charley Thweatt. In this episode, Charley looks at how we stay connected on the inner realms via what you could call an “inner invisible wifi” of divine energy. This shows up in how we connect with ourselves, with others, and with God. As part of his talk, Charley will also emphasize his points with a series of “dueling quotes” between the Buddha and Mark Twain. Quite a moving and inspiring message.Support the show (https://www.unityinthefoothillsct.org/give)
Presented by Rev. Carolyn Swift JonesThe news of the world can cause us to imagine all kinds of terror if we let it. The news of our Divine Inheritance, however, can help us imagine Peace where Peace appears not to be. We hope you enjoy this message as we exercise our Power of Imagination to enhance our awareness of the Peace we are!Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. – Albert EinsteinSupport the show (https://www.unityinthefoothillsct.org/give)
If we allow, the news of the world can close our hearts in fear. And, if we allow, the news of our Inner Peace opens our hearts to Love. Throughout the many histories of war, there have been singular individuals who have resisted the temptation to harden their hearts, and instead - have kept their hearts soft and pliant, even when all hope seems lost. Enjoy this message as we fast from fear and feast on Love - even in the midst of great tribulation.“In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”- John 16:33Support the show (https://www.unityinthefoothillsct.org/give)
Presented by Rev. Chris DiGiorgioThe Bible is the most read book in the world. Yet, some of us have seen the Bible as an old document with no relevance to our every day lives. Rev. Presented by Rev Caroly Swift JonesIf you look up the word “dogma” in the Merriam Webster dictionary, one of the definitions is “something held as an established opinion”. If that is all that dogma is - established opinion - then we should be able to freely agree or disagree with it. Come and join us as we examine the role of dogma in our belief systems. Presented by Unity In the Foothills CongregantsThere's something very exciting happening right now in the Unity movement. You might have been sensing it in our classes and conversations. Bold thinkers in the Unity movement are questioning unquestioned answers. “Sacred Cows” of embedded theology are being led out to the fields of Unlimited Pasture. A new “edge” is being danced around, a growing edge, and we are not only a part of this growing edge - we are the growing edge. What does it mean to find yourself at the very forefront of a movement that is encouraging you to ask questions? What does it mean to stand on the shore of yet another Red Sea with unquestioned answers behind you and a Promised Land of Spiritual Integrity before you? Come and join us for a powerful Unity Share in which four members of our beloved community reflect on what it means to question unquestioned answers. Bring your unquestioned answers with you - that way we will all surely grow!“…but test everything; hold fast to what is good;” - 1 Thessalonians 5:21Support the show (https://www.unityinthefoothillsct.org/give)
Presented by Rev. Carolyn Swift JonedIf we think of Love as a transaction, then we may come to a community expecting to be served in return for something that we give. But the Power of Love is not transactional. We hope you enjoy this episode in which we explore what it means for a community to express the Power of Love as a commonly held Desire for the Highest Good of all. “Be the community you want to have.”- Darren RowseSupport the show (https://www.unityinthefoothillsct.org/give)
Presented By Rev Carolyn Swift JonesSome cycles, such as going to sleep and waking up, are easily understood as being continuous. But what of the cycle of forgiveness? Are we ready to embrace it as a necessary and ongoing continuum, as essential to our well-being as breathing? We hope you enjoy this episode as we take a deep dive into the process of forgiveness. As we remember our Divine Nature, let's forget to count how many times we have forgiven. Then Peter came to him and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?”- Matthew 18:21Support the show (https://www.unityinthefoothillsct.org/give)
Presented by Rev. Carolyn Swift Jones. The White Stone Ceremony is the sacred conclusion to our Holiday journey. In the times that Jesus walked the earth, a newly freed slave was given a white stone to signify that they were no longer bound in service to anyone other than their own Divine Self. When we no longer give ourselves the limiting names of “Shame, Guilt, Fear, or Hatred”, we are free to call ourselves by our True names, such as: “Faith, Peace, Love, and Joy”. We hope you enjoy this message in which we are guided into a deep listening so that can hear our new names and write them onto a clean white stone which we will then carry with us as we move forward into our next journey around the sun. “To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows except him who receives it.” Revelation 2:17.Support the show (https://www.unityinthefoothillsct.org/give)
Presented by Rev Carolyn Swift JonesThis service took place the day after Christmas. Rev. Carolyn Swift Jones guided us through a special releasing ceremony where we unwrapped the Gift that keeps on giving- our very own True Self. Nothing under the tree, nothing hung by the chimney with care, just our very own radiant Light, ready to be unboxed and given away.If you received the holiday package of materials, you will need your dissolvable paper for this service. It's the blank 8 1/2 x 11 white paper with the slightly waxy feel. Also have a pen or pencil, a vessel of any kind with water in it, and a spoon to stir the paper with once it's in the water. If you haven't already written on this paper the things you want to release, you will have time during the service to do so. Please, don't dissolve it before Rev. Carolyn invites us all to do so.Support the show (https://www.unityinthefoothillsct.org/give)
Presented by Rev. Kelly Isola In the Gospel of Luke, 2:10, the angel announces Jesus' birth to the shepherds, “Do not be afraid…I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people…” However, we rarely think about this directive outside of the Christmas season. For all intents and purposes it is a “to-do” list: Good news. Great joy. All people. Check. Not that I need another list, but by engaging in these three tasks, I open the floodgates of my true nature, which is love.Support the show (https://www.unityinthefoothillsct.org/give)

Presented By Rev. Carolyn Swift Jones By now, we all know how to put ourselves on mute. But do we recognize the spiritual invitation that the mute button is offering? It may be that this ability to occasionally mute ourselves is, in and of itself, a great gift to give a noisy world. In this episode, we consciously quiet our thoughts so that we may experience and spread the Peace that passes all understanding. How silently the wondrous gift is given! And look, you will be silent and unable to speak until these things have come to pass…-Luke 1:20Support the show (https://www.unityinthefoothillsct.org/give)
Presented by Rev. Carolyn Swift JonesWhen we were little, many of us enjoyed opening the little windows on the advent calendar on the days leading up to Christmas. Each window often had a fun, sparkling image intended to raise one's hopes and expectations for a magnificent Holiday season. But not everybody is filled with hope during the Holidays. What if there was a different kind of advent calendar, made from the windows of our consciousness? And what if these windows opened to the possibility that even in the depths of sadness, there is always reason for hope? Enjoy this, the first message of the Advent Season, in which we light the candle of Hope for one and all. “Only in the darkness can you see the stars.”- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.Support the show (https://www.unityinthefoothillsct.org/give)
Presented by Rev Kelly Isola14th century Christian mystic Meister Eckhart said “If the only prayer you ever pray is ‘Thank You,' that is enough.” Is that true? Is it enough? It is written that when Jesus performed certain miracles he gave thanks first, and gratitude has always been a part of all the world's religions. When things work out well, it's just natural to express relief, joy, and appreciation. What if things don't work out, can we still be grateful? AND given that God is principle, not a being, where do we aim our thanks? What are we grateful for and who are we grateful to? Let's discover together if gratitude, if gratefulness, or the GREAT FULLNESS of life is indeed enough.Support the show (https://www.unityinthefoothillsct.org/give)
Presented by Rev Carolyn Swift JonesOnce upon a time, the collective consciousness held a firm belief that the earth was at the center of the solar system. It wasn't true. Today, the collective consciousness - that shared consciousness that acts as a matrix for shared beliefs and ideas - holds many agreements having to do with health and prosperity that are also not true. Enjoy this message in which we look at some commonly held beliefs that have no basis in the Absolute Reality of Christ Consciousness. If we sit with our Power of Will in this way, we may experience an exciting shift within us! New directions, new landscapes, and new definitions of what our Wholeness means may suddenly rise up within us. Shifts such as these bring change. Are we willing…to be willing…to shift...and change?
