THE WHAT: As you know I am a champion of all women and women like Rachel are the epitome of female empowerment, so it's safe to say we had a blast. Rachel speaks openly and honestly about her experience as not only a curve model but also as a ‘silver haired' model. She also tells all about her desire to make an impact above getting paid and how she's shared many a shoot with a celeb or two, all with similar missions. Rachel is all about body confidence and spends a lot of her time behind the camera in swimsuits and lingerie, a thought she may not have considered in her younger years. Her passion shines through as she explains how her mission is to show other women, particularly those in midlife that they are far from invisible.  THE WHY: Rachel has broken so many barriers and worked with huge influencers in the modelling world, as well as becoming one herself. She is not shy on speaking up for women's voices, especially in an industry so dominated by younger women. She believes that all women need to be seen and represented and discusses with me openly about how she is more confident now at 52 than she was in her 20's and 30's. THE HEADLINES: We can all do more to ensure we are being more inclusive in our brands and it starts with simple, actionable things.  We talk about how as entrepreneurs we are not doing enough to ensure a diverse message is put out into the world “Diversity is being invited to the party, inclusion is being asked to dance” Verna Myers  THE WHO: This week I speak to the super inspiring Samantha Lubanzu all about diversity and inclusion and how we can be doing more within our brands to make the change we want, and most importantly need, to see in business and the world.    THE WHAT: This podcast was such an interesting one for me as I really had to open my mind to how much more I could be doing as a white woman in business. We learn in this episode how it's not just enough to say you're inclusive but the importance of showing it too as Samantha talks about what it's really like in this online world as she makes waves to educate more people on how to make their brands more diverse and inclusive.    THE WHY: Samantha has the most amazing quote that she lives by when she talks about diversity and inclusion: “Diversity and inclusion starts with holding a mirror up to yourself and celebrating your own uniqueness” and I think it's time we all hold a mirror up to ourselves as we learn more from Samantha, a diversity and inclusion business coach and a career and business coach for underestimated women and allies. We all need to be doing more and Samantha tells us some of the ways we can start because this isn't just something to be considering in a one off moment, when everyone is talking about it. THE HEADLINES: The biggest mistake I see so many entrepreneurs making with their sales page. Selling to their desires and not to their pain points (ouch!) Everybody consumes content differently and we have to be considering that with the things we put out into the online space.  THE WHO: Nicki is back, giving you a quick, easy and actionable tip for your sales pages to make them work harder and convert more leads.  THE WHAT: In the first of many, shorter tip-based episodes, Nicki breaks down the most common mistake she sees entrepreneurs making with their sales page and tells you how you can avoid it. We all know people buy the result and not how to get there yet we see too many entrepreneurs laying out all the details and not enough of the transformation.  THE WHY: There's nothing worse than putting something out there and for whatever reason it doesn't sell. And so often it's just those one or two small tweaks that make all the difference. Nicki tells you all the things you need above the scroll, so when your clients are sitting there doom scrolling while watching Love Island tonight and you'll catch their eye, they'll know once they click through that you are the person for them because you've ensured you've nailed this ONE key thing on all of your sales pages.  THE LINK UP: Nicki's Website: https://www.iamnickijames.co.uk/ FREE GUIDE: 5 day Find Your Brand Edge Journey: https://programs.iamnickijames.co.uk/find-your-edge/ Follow Nicki on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/iamnickijames Join Nicki's free community, the I.AM.ME Collective: https://www.facebook.com/groups/theiammecollective Follow Nicki on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/iamnickijames/ Follow Nicki on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/iamnickijames/

They discuss how Dani, on paper, could have had a life that turned out very differently but had that inner fire in her belly to not be a subject of her past as she grew her public speaking and coaching business, in order to follow her dream to support domestic abuse and violence survivors. In this episode Nicki & Dani talk about how so many people's voices get taken away when suffering trauma of any kind and how it's in those moments that the #FlyAnyway Foundation provide support to rise back up and find their place in the business world.  THE WHY: In this episode, we discuss how so many entrepreneurs have experienced trauma and abuse and how it becomes a catapult to pay our strengths forward. We discuss recent subjects in the media (Depp vs Heard) and how we believe they should be handled as personal brands and also shed a light on our joint mission to ensure that people are seen and heard and use their voices to help others know they are not alone.   THE LINK UP: Nicki's Website: https://www.iamnickijames.co.uk/ FREE GUIDE: 5 day Find Your Brand Edge Journey: https://programs.iamnickijames.co.uk/find-your-edge/ Follow Nicki on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/iamnickijames Join Nicki's free community, the I.AM.ME Collective: https://www.facebook.com/groups/theiammecollective Follow Nicki on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/iamnickijames/ Follow Nicki on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/iamnickijames/   Dani's Website: https://www.iamthequeenbee.co.uk/ The #FlyAnyway Foundation: https://www.iamthequeenbee.co.uk/flyanyway Follow Dani on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thequeenbeedani Join Dani's free community, the IATQB Hive: https://www.facebook.com/groups/386708721935406 Follow Dani on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thequeenbeedani/ Follow Dani on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/iamthequeenbee/

Nicki busts the myths that your people need you to be something you're not and challenges you to think about the fact there is someone out there for everyone and that your people might just be waiting for you to stop playing small and finally arrive.  THE WHY: You get to choose which move you make next and that move needs to be a step closer to the impact you desire. In this thought-provoking episode Nicki asks you to really think about who your next level version of yourself is, if we took away all the pressures of this online space and truly came back to yourselves. Nicki shares her own vulnerabilities, because she knows that really, we are all in this together, all navigating the online space and trying to make our mark. Season 2 Trailer: What To Expect

THE HEADLINES: This online space is noisy, let's learn how to cut through that noise and be true to who we are. You don't have to be the loudest in the room to be the most successful.  I'm not here for the small talk, expect conversations that matter, along with tonnes of brand tips, lessons and teachings so you can implement them today.  THE WHO, WHAT, WHY: The We Are Seen Podcast isn't just about logos and websites. It's not what you'd stereotypically expect from a branding podcast. And that's because we are not a branding podcast. We are a brand podcast and this podcast is for the realness, rawness and relevance of what it truly takes to put more of you into your brand. With more and more people cropping up in this busy, noisy online space and people telling us what we should and shouldn't be, it's more important than ever that we are seen as female entrepreneurs for who we are.  So I won't just be interviewing women, or your stereotypical well-known names in the entrepreneurial space. And I will be having conversations that really need to be had. Because I want to have conversations that are not just about the online versions of ourselves but the REAL versions of ourselves too.  Because it's only when we really unlock who we are and tap into who we are becoming that we can become a client magnet. And sometimes there's a lot of things to juggle to step into and own the next level version of yourself. But by turning up that dial and showcasing more of your truth, your audience won't be able to resist being a part of what you are about to do. And this podcast is about showing you how.  It's not about being the loudest. It's about being the most unapologetic portrayal of you.  I am Nicki James, and I will always champion women. But I hugely believe in all voices being heard. We can't expand our brand and talk about the things that matter in order to have the ultimate impact if we are not prepared to listen to views that aren't the same as our own. This podcast is for every female entrepreneur ready to make a difference. To build a brand that's not only successful for them, but successful for the people who enter their world.  I want to show you how I threw away the rulebook, found my own path and made my own rules for how I wanted to run this multi-six figure business. Every person's journey is unique because every person is unique and I need you to know now, really take this in and listen to this, that you do not have to change.  You were born to stand out, it's time to stop walking to the beat of someone else's drum. It's time to build that unstoppable brand within and create something that really means something.  This podcast is going to help you do just that, it's going to teach you, inspire you, it might make you laugh, cry, heck sometimes it might activate you to take some action to make that change. Because we have to start thinking of our brands differently. People buy from people. Why are they buying from you?  Are you ready for the realness, the rawness and the relevance? Have a listen to what you should be expecting from the We Are Seen Podcast.  THE LINK UP: Nicki's Website: https://www.iamnickijames.co.uk/ FREE GUIDE: 5 day Find Your Brand Edge Journey: https://programs.iamnickijames.co.uk/find-your-edge/ Follow Nicki on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/iamnickijames Join Nicki's free community, the I.AM.ME Collective: https://www.facebook.com/groups/theiammecollective Follow Nicki on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/iamnickijames/ Follow Nicki on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/iamnickijames/

Safe isn't an option anymore. Something I find myself saying so much recently. First a rebrand or should I say an ownership of me and then a realisation that this podcast needs to stop playing safe. Because I have to be honest, I am BORED! Bored of the same old stuff all over the internet. And if I want to change it, I have to start leading by example. So in this episode is going to tackle some thought processes I've been having, as well as tackling what it really is to be a personal brand because it ain't just about that online presence we all focus on.  Let me take you on the journey from lost to clarity and a path that finally feels focussed. Although scares the crap out of me a little.  So today, I'll share with you, a little bit of an insider a look at how that happened, why that happened and what the plans are for this podcast. It's time to do different, differently.  Next Tuesday you will see the new 'I am Nicki James' brand unveil (about time too!) but it's more than a rebrand. It's an embodiment of who I am and what I am becoming. So it's only right that we change this too.  You don't want to miss this one. Trust me. Stop Talking Sh*t To Yourself

Hello, and welcome to this episode of the We Are Seen Podcast! I'm really excited because I've actually got a lush guest with me today, to talk to me about the ironically not so lush stuff we say to ourselves and the impact it has. I'm so excited to introduce to you the beautiful, Kat Linsley-Hood. Today what we really wanted to do is to hold some space and talk about that negative self- talk that we use way too often,  especially us women, and where that comes from. What makes us use this sh*tty language that we wouldn't be prepared to say to others to ourselves? We look at media influence, societal influence and our past experiences that make us feel that we should be different to who we are and we banish the "shoulds" and embrace our truth.  Because, the language we use for ourselves, continuously, actually impacts us and stops us from untapping our true potential. And that needs to stop. It's important you know, myself and Kat both do this too, we totally and utterly get it. So there is no judgement here. It's a safe space ya'll.  So let's dive into this honest conversation and let's join hands in embracing some more self-loving talk.  Nicki's Resources:  Nicki's Website Just Brand You: https://justbrandyou.co.uk/

    Riding The Rebrand Wave

As you all know I'm a fly by the seat of my pants kind of girl when it comes to these podcast episodes. It depends how I feel and what feels right in the moment.  I spend my time listening and I hear you. You want to make some noise. Right? So, it makes total sense with my rebrand coming up, to talk to you this week about "Riding The Rebrand Wave", and the power it holds. But I also see so many people NOT doing it. Popping out the rebrand on the socials and then watching that momentum drift away. And it's the same with any big things you do. Shout once, and let it drift.  So my big question to you all this week is this: How often are you actually taking advantage of the big things that you have done and making the most out of them? A rebrand in your business is one of the biggest things you're ever going to do. It's a complete and utter change for your identity, it's an ownership for who you are and it's a time to celebrate; How often do we take advantage of that?  And even when we are launching podcasts, publishing books, speaking on stages, how much are we really over egging that we've done these things? These are all big things that deserve to be shouted about. So, today I am discussing how sometimes we don't make enough noise, we don't celebrate our achievements enough and how do we expect our audience to care, if we are not giving them something to care about.  Your audience need to feel your excitement. And you've got to ride the wave of it. Make it last. So in this episode, I'll be sharing with you my own experiences, as well as my clients, and sharing some epic wins and benefits from shouting that little bit harder.  Getting this right, in any capacity, is important and its so much more than one post saying "I've arrived".  Join me, listen in, as the wave (for myself right now) is in motion. Brand for the Future You

So, I don't know if you've heard but I'm going through a rebrand? Yep, that's right, I'm on the journey too and I am feeling all the feels and today I am opening up about some of the things I had to consider as I stepped into my future brand. Because I need you to know that we can't brand for where we are now. We have to brand for the future. And that safety zone we keep ourselves in, because it feels easy, familiar and we are used to it, isn't going to push our business forward. We can't stay there forever. No matter how far it's got us 'til now.  So when we think about establishing our brands and where we want to be in 1, 2 or even 5 years from now we have to be thinking bigger. Because where we are now, won't be where we are then and our brand has the power to get us there. But only if we chose to take a few risks and propel into our future selves. But it's scary right? It's scary thinking about all the things that could go wrong. The worry about being something different.  I'm there and I get you! But your bound to do it eventually so why not now? You see it doesn't matter where you are on your journey, it doesn't matter how good you are, or how far you've come. Those worries are all real. And you are learning so much about yourself. Getting used to this new way of being where the possibilities are endless.  So today I give you loads of tips about stepping into that future self, branding for who you are becoming not who you are and getting rid of that f*ck it rebrand energy when you are stuck in limbo between the brand you are now and the epic one you can't wait to shout about. Well let's work out how you can do it all shall we? And let's talk all things rebranding.  Nicki's Resources:  Nicki's Website Just Brand You: https://justbrandyou.co.uk/

    Protecting Your Brand Reputation

It may be a very ranty episode today and I'm going to apologise in advance. Although I am starting to wonder if they all are. I had this great podcast planned for this week and I was going to run with it, but then unfortunately I had an experience happen on Monday and I just had to tell you about it. Because, well, we all know how much I love turning my experiences into lessons for you. We've had the pee gate experience (go back and have a listen to why I cancelled my mastermind.) And now we've got the ruined brand rep experience. Because in one moment a hotel I stayed at, ruined my entire opinion of them and I'm gonna' tell you why so that you don't make the same mistake in your brand...EVER! Because every single move that you make in your business is a reflection of your brand. And people remember this shizzle!  We don't even realise how much people are watching us and the opinions they are making. We are being judged on all the things we are saying online.  Our client journey is JUST as important as getting likes on social media or getting them through the door.  Because people are continuously making judgments about who we are and I don't think we think about that enough in our brands.  My experience is my inspiration on what I want to talk you about. How I can teach you based on those experiences comes from everyday lessons. If we actually open our eyes enough there is inspiration all around us every single day. Unique ways that we can talk in ways that people need to hear. Because it might be from your one experience that finally gets someone to understand your message. I am back and I'm so excited to be recording this episode, it's been two weeks with no episodes because, I was so poorly but I AM BACK! What I wanted to be able to do as part of this comeback is take it back to basics. I really want over the next few episodes to talk to you about what it really takes to have a brand, most importantly a personal brand and how we go about building one with fire and edge. So in this episode, I'm talking to the beautiful Amy Atkinson from The Femtrepreneur, all about niching and the mistakes we constantly see around niching and even mistakes we've made ourselves. Let's banish a few myths around niching today so that you can start building a brand that sets your soul on fire. Amy, comes at this slightly differently today. Me with the aligmnet, heart thing you know and love and Amy more strategically about how to find your niche. I think it's good to see all sides, because when you come into this online space, I think niching causes one of the biggest confusions. It really doesn't need to be this hard.  Amy teaches coaches and trainers to level up on their instagram, smash their website and create email strategies to improve their sales. She truly is a marketing queen.  So today you have two powerhouses in the brand and marketing space, bringing different perspectives on a topic we all need to be nailing in this online space.  You are going to need a notepad and nice cuppa for this one. There are some really beneficial hints, tips and lessons in this weeks episode. Nicki's Resources:  Nicki's Website Just Brand You: https://justbrandyou.co.uk/

Today's episode was supposed to be with my husband Rob but it's safe to say it didn't quite work out as expected so I'll save him for another day - don't ask!  However, I think things happen for a reason, as this week, I've popped the Wonder Woman cape back on in celebration of International Women's Day.  In today's episode I'll be covering off some strong thoughts, feelings and emotions about our power as women, tying in nicely with International Womens Day falling this week. Although let's face it, we should be celebrating ourselves ALL THE TIME. Even IWD seems to go on for at least a month of thought provoking discussion and celebration now. And I love it.  What I loved about this years message, was it's focus; "Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow"  And albeit that this is a celebration of women and bringing attention to gender equality for them, I actually think that gender equality as we currently know has power for all genders who experience inequality for any reason. To not be accepted in societal norms or the effects that the world has on them because of who they are. So I just wanted to be able to make sure that we we're raising a glass to them too because it's as much about them, as it is about us. It's about people.  However, of course, we do experience gender inequality as women and a lot of the subject of that is going to be on today's episode. So in celebration of us all this International Women's Day, I come to you with my thoughts and feelings of how we need to rise up and speak as women to make the change we really want to see.  Nicki's Resources:  Nicki's Website Just Brand You: https://justbrandyou.co.uk/

The Wonder Woman cape firmly comes off in this weeks episode as Nicki talks about battling our inner demons and the joys of self-sabotage. Less of maybe Nicki's bubbly personality that you are used to but a subject that really needs to be shared and heard.   Using her own recent circumstances, Nicki brings you the reality of life right now to prove once again that she is true to her own integrity, emotions and brand. After all, brands don't need to be perfect. They need to be human. There was definitely a battle with whether to air this episode, with so much aggression going on in the world right now. And the thoughts running through her brain of “who am I to feel sorry for myself, to take a moment and say I don't feel well enough I need time out?” But Nicki knows she's not alone. That so many women feel this way so she shares with you her experience of feeling unwell these past couple of weeks and her attempts to try to ignore what her body was telling her, only for it to force her to stop. But these things happen for a reason and it's normally our bodies telling us something.   A lesson that needs to be learnt. It's so common to say “push, push” and carry on, but Nicki today shows you that it's 100% ok to take time out. To acknowledge our emotions and give ourselves permission to just feel for a day. Feel for a day. Serve for a lifetime.     Nicki's Resources:  Nicki's Website Just Brand You: https://justbrandyou.co.uk/

I've gone a bit rogue for this episode but with good reason. However, I'm sure you'll hear from my ranty tone and the power of its message, that todays episode needs to be heard and collectively action taken to stop fat-shaming, icky marketing and uninvited opinions in this online space. The behaviour I've witnessed, not just recently but for a while now, is simply not ok, it is not marketing, it is not selling and it is damaging to the brands we are building and the industries the people represent. And we must make a stand. It's a topic that I'm so passionate about, and just to pre-warn you I do get a bit ranty in places, and may swear a few times...Oops! So I'm just putting that warning out there right from the beginning. However, if you are the woman that has been told or approached multiple times with, “I can help you with your fat loss”, or “I can help you with this ‘problem' that you haven't even asked me about”, or the random friend requests claiming to “not be selling to you but can I ask you this totally inappropriate question” then this is going to be the podcast episode for you! Commenting on another persons: Weight, Body, Looks, Shape, Size, or in fact anything personal about them in a derogatory way is not ok and never will be and it has to stop.   Resources:  Nicki's Website Just Brand You: https://justbrandyou.co.uk/

In today's episode, I'm talking to you all about your personal brand vision. And of course, I'm going all Freddie Mercury on you. It wouldn't be a Nicki James podcast if I didn't. In the song “One Vision” by Queen they sing, “you need one (wo)mxn, one goal, one voice, one hope, one real decision” and wait for it he also sings from the top of his lungs “one vision”.  So in this episode, I discuss how these song lyrics couldn't be more correct when it comes to building a personal brand. We all know that people are drawn towards clarity, and away from confusion. So I break down why clarity is one of the hardest things to get clear on within our brands. What You'll Learn: The result of lack of clarity within our brand. The affects of yo-yo marketing and shiny object syndrome. How to prevent confusion for your clients. To niche or not to niche? – And what the impact is for your business. The key pillars of any good brand. Whether we are hindering our brand evolution because we're always do what we've always done? And what happens if we change things up a little and deviate from our A --> B line and paint outside it?   To summarise, as long as you're clear on who you are, you've worked on that strong brand message and you know what it is that you're all about, allowing yourself the flexibility to explore new ideas, to see how you feel in six months' time, to see whether that plan that you made in January is still right for you is something that I couldn't encourage more.   So, make that plan, start executing it, allow yourself permission to see the squiggles, to flow with the squiggles, to not panic that they're taking you away from your A --> B strict straight line. And remember that your brand has power when you believe that you are it, all of you, which means as you change, it changes with you too. In today's episode, I want to bring to you what it really takes to evolve in your brand. I'm going to discuss how hard it is to step into a personal brand as a female entrepreneur and that it's a journey, not a one stop solution. There might be a few risks needed, we might not always be able to stay comfortable and we HAVE to keep moving.  What You'll Learn: How to make conscious, aligned decisions as a personal brand that are right for you.  How to recognising the dreaded signs of burnout and intuitively listen to what you need. How to relinquish control and step into total alignment, allowing yourself the freedom to embrace new approaches. To start letting go of fear and embracing moves outside of your safety net.  The key risks we need to start taking in our personal brands in order to keep moving. Brene Brown says: "I want to be in the arena, I want to be brave with my life and when we make the choice to dare greatly, we sign up to get our asses kicked. We can choose courage or we can choose comfort, but we can't have both, not at the same time" To summarise, 2022 might bring some arse kicking, it might mean that we need to break out of what we've always known, but we have to set the intention to be bolder, fiercer, own more of ourselves and what's right for us. To have the courage that we know our next move and to have the courage that this business can be run on your terms. That you can build your own arena and the people who are totally aligned with you will be pulled to be a part of your world. Throughout this show, you will understand how and when you should shout out to other brands, colleagues, and mentors and what you must ask yourself before doing it.  What You Will Learn In This Episode: - What mistakes I've made in the past helping others build their brands instead of mine - Why you shouldn't stop yourself from doing what you believe will be good for your business - Why your brand will remain stagnant if you wait for someone else to build it for you - The questions you must ask yourself before approaching any business decision regarding partnerships Before associating yourself with someone else's business, you need to check on their values in business and see if they align with yours. Taking care of your brand and your company is not selfish. You must allow yourself to think about how a partnership will benefit you and if it is the right thing for you at that particular time.  Resources: - Nicki's Website: Just Brand You https://justbrandyou.co.uk/  - The FREE Wonder Woman Story Guide https://justbrandyouprograms.co.uk/wonder-woman-journey/ - Just Brand You on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/justbrandyou/  - Just Brand You on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/justbrandyou/  - Nicki's LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/nicki-louise-james-3832651b/

Today, I want to talk about how you can define your brands worth. So let's not only discuss the pressures you put on yourself through launching. Let's not forget the magnitude of what you've achieved in just one week of living your brand. What You Will Learn In This Episode: - Why it is a mistake to associate financial results with your brand's worth - Why is it so easy to fall into the trap of focusing on one setback rather than the positive outcomes - How to separate the moments of celebration from what defines your brand - What elements define your brand's true worth When you put something out there and people don't respond to it as expected, the sales rate is low or none, it doesn't mean you are not doing the right thing, that you are not good enough or your brand is not worthy. Before thinking any of that, you must remember the journey you've been on and every single thing you've achieved so far, because your brand is a collection of achievements in improving people's business and lives.  Resources: - Nicki's Website: Just Brand You https://justbrandyou.co.uk/  - The FREE Wonder Woman Story Guide https://justbrandyouprograms.co.uk/wonder-woman-journey/ - Just Brand You on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/justbrandyou/  - Just Brand You on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/justbrandyou/  - Nicki's LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/nicki-louise-james-3832651b/

In this episode, I talk about why your brand needs to come first. I've noticed that many people think they don't need a brand, and they're more than happy hiding behind their businesses. But, the only thing that differentiates your offering from everybody else's is, guess what - your brand. Focusing on your brand will make your business stand out, help you get more clients, and make content creation effortless.  What You Will Learn In This Episode: - The difference between showing up as who you truly are vs showing up as who you think you need to be - How focusing on your brand can help you make more sales - What massive changes I've experienced once I focused on my brand - How you can generate a deeper connection with your audience through your brand Unless you communicate effectively to your audience who you are and what your brand is about, your business won't go any further. If your audience has no idea of your customer experience, your mission, purpose, or even why you are in business, you won't connect with them, won't be able to reach the next level, and you'll just have to circle back.  Resources: - Nicki's Website: Just Brand You https://justbrandyou.co.uk/  - The FREE Wonder Woman Story https://justbrandyouprograms.co.uk/wonder-woman-journey/ - Just Brand You on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/justbrandyou/  - Just Brand You on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/justbrandyou/  - Nicki's LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/nicki-louise-james-3832651b/

Today we are talking about creating a mission-led brand. Over my several years building brands and growing an online business, I've noticed that business owners are now more interested in having a higher purpose than making more money. Mind you, a purpose is not the same thing as a vision statement. Your vision statement is what you intend to be in the future, but your purpose is the primary reason behind your existence.  What You'll Learn in This Episode: - The relationship between finding purpose in your business and customer loyalty - How to discover your mission - How to create a personal connection with your audience - How to leverage your mission statement to grow your brand  - Finding clarity in your online journey - The steps to building a mission-driven brand The greatest success that can come out of having a mission-led brand is that every business can contribute to a better society. It doesn't matter what industry you are in, we all can make a difference. My mission is about empowering women, and what's yours? In this episode, I'm talking about the importance of consistent brand visibility. By now, we all know the power of having a solid brand, but having a professional brand presence is just the start. The goal is to have the consistency and the reliability that keeps your followers coming back for more. Because when you're reliable, you're more likely to attract new people and retain your current followers. What You'll Learn in This Episode: - The power of showing up consistently - The difference between showing up consistently vs. constantly - How to remove the pressure of being perfect, and show up as yourself regardless of how you feel - How to have real and honest conversations - The mindset shift you need in order to consistently show up - How to squash the comparison trap online If you're not embarrassed by your first product or live event, then you're doing it all wrong. Why? Because your assumption about what your audience wants to hear is never precise. They just want to see the real you, no matter how you feel or think about yourself. So stop aiming for perfection and just do what needs to be done.   Resources: - Nicki's Website: Just Brand You https://justbrandyou.co.uk/  - The FREE Wonder Woman Story Guide https://justbrandyouprograms.co.uk/wonder-woman-journey/  - Just Brand You on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/justbrandyou/  - Just Brand You on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/justbrandyou/  - Nicki's LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/nicki-louise-james-3832651b/

Today I will discuss who your ideal client is and explain why people-pleasing is detrimental to your brand-building process. Without it, it's practically impossible to attract the right people or tailor your business to address their unique needs.  What You'll Learn: - Who is your ideal client? - Why you wouldn't want to attract all types of people - Questions that define your ideal client - What it means to niche down - Benefits of niching down - Why you can't and should not serve everyone I genuinely believe that once you know with total clarity who your ideal client is, everything changes. In this episode I'll share with you why I believe women should be seen and heard. For far too long, society has allowed women's voices to be swept under the rug. And while we acknowledge that women deserve an equal place in today's civilization, that doesn't mean women's voices are truly being heard. Things have got to change, and today I'm going to address some of the challenges plaguing women's voices and share how I found my own voice. What You'll Learn in This Episode: - How to find and own your voice - Why women should be seen and heard in equal measure - How to overcome the fear of being judged for using your voice - The importance of women supporting women - How to discover your true value - The power of listening to your inner voice I'm inviting you to ask yourself - what is that one thing that's stopping you from showing up as your true self? Is it the fear of being ridiculed and publicly shamed? Michelle Obama was ridiculed, but did that stop her from speaking up? No! Just decide to be seen and heard for who you want to be seen and heard, and just keep on pushing.  Resources: - Nicki's Website: Just Brand You https://justbrandyou.co.uk/  - The FREE Wonder Woman Story Guide https://justbrandyouprograms.co.uk/wonder-woman-journey/ - Just Brand You on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/justbrandyou/  - Just Brand You on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/justbrandyou/  - Nicki's LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/nicki-louise-james-3832651b/
