The Bobby Bones Show podcast has been a staple in my life for years, and I can't imagine the day it's no longer available. This show has become a part of my everyday routine, and I look forward to listening to it every day. The positive and uplifting nature of the show is what sets it apart from others. It constantly focuses on the positives and different ways to see the world, all while maintaining its country roots. The hosts have a great dynamic and their chemistry shines through in each episode. The show brings so much happiness and laughter into my day, truly making it feel like therapy on-the-go.
One of the best aspects of The Bobby Bones Show podcast is its ability to brighten my mood and bring a smile to my face. Whether I'm driving or going about my daily activities, I find myself laughing out loud and feeling uplifted by the positivity radiating from the hosts. The tell me something good segment always brings joy and reminds me to focus on the positives in life. Additionally, the morning corny never fails to give me a good laugh.
However, there are times when certain aspects of the show can be off-putting. Sometimes there are moments where one of the hosts, Lunchbox, can come off as unlikeable or irritating. While I understand that this may be part of his persona, there are times when his behavior or comments can be grating. It would be nice if Amy didn't always try to appease him in these situations.
In conclusion, despite its occasional flaws, The Bobby Bones Show podcast remains an integral part of my life. It has changed my perspective on things and always manages to brighten my day. From its positive outlook on life to its ability to make me laugh out loud, this show is truly a gem in the sea of podcasts available today. I highly recommend giving it a listen if you're looking for some free therapy and a good dose of positivity.

Rhaina Cohen (author of The Other Significant Others) joins us to reframe how we think about friendship: past, present, and possible futures. Rhaina explains why intense platonic bonds once held public, ritualized importance (think “sworn brotherhoods” and romantic friendships of the 17th–19th centuries), how marriage’s role shifted to demand emotional everything-ness, and why that cultural shift squeezed out space for friendships. What you'll get out of this episode: The friendship that inspired Rhaina's book Historical models of deep same-sex friendship and how they differ from modern assumptions Why modern romantic relationships often eclipse friendship and why that harms us Real-life choices Rhaina and her husband made (communal living, prioritizing friends) and practical tips to preserve friendships How to be a better friend: rituals, calendars, play, and honest conversation Handling jealousy and myths about opposite-sex friendships If you want to build stronger platonic connections, rethink where you live and who you share life with, or simply appreciate how friendship can anchor a life, this episode is for you.

Kat and Amy go over the Drama Triangle today! Kat helps us unpack the difference between content vs. context (aka fact vs. the story we write about the fact), why our brains default to meaning-making, and how those stories can lift us above the line into possibility…or pull us below the line into fear, lack, and powerlessness. Kat explains the 3 unconscious roles of the Drama Triangle: Victim, Rescuer, and Persecutor + why each one feels rewarding in the moment, and how they keep us trapped in unhealthy communication loops. Both Amy and Kat share some personal stories on the Drama Triangle showing up in their own lives. They also talk about how quickly we rotate roles and what actually breaks the cycle: noticing your patterns, naming your feelings, setting boundaries, lowering expectations, and taking radical responsibility for yourself. It’s an eye-opening and immediately practical episode. Plus, Amy brings in the “burnt toast theory” to show how reframing even the smallest moments can be helpful. Bobby is joined by TV legend Maury Povich, who looks back on the moments that turned “You are NOT the father!” into one of the most quoted lines in TV history and how that era compares to his early days as a serious journalist. He shares stories from covering Watergate and the Martin Luther King Jr. riots, what it was like being on the front lines of huge historic moments, and how those experiences shaped the way he sees people. Maury also talks about why, after all these years, he still genuinely loves interviewing and what keeps him curious about human behavior. Then WWE Superstar Chelsea Green hops in to pull back the curtain on life in the ring and on the road. She explains what it’s actually like to travel with championship belts through airports, why she refuses to check them, and the physical and mental grind that comes with a job that has no real off-season. Chelsea and Bobby get into the biggest misconceptions about wrestling being “fake,” the skill and risk that go into every match, and why the stories behind the characters are just as real as anything you’ll see on TV.Check out On Par With Maury Povich Podcast Season 2 which premieres on Dec 8th on YouTube!Tickets for WrestleMania 42 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, are on sale now at Ticketmaster HERE Follow on Instagram: @TheBobbyCast Follow on TikTok: @TheBobbyCast Watch this Episode on Youtube See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

At what age does your body officially hit the “uh oh, this hurts now” tipping point? Bobby kicks things off breaking down why everything from recovery time to random aches seems to change overnight, and how he’s feeling about getting older in real time. Then he’s joined by college football reporter Ross Dellenger to tell the real story behind Lane Kiffin’s dog “Juice” — how a golden retriever became a sideline star, what’s true, what’s myth, and why the whole thing was a great PR stunt from Ole Miss over the years. Finally, former NFL wide receiver Allen Robinson stops by to talk about league life, from locker rooms to playbooks to the very important question: which team actually had the best cafeteria food? He shares his rankings, favorite meals, and behind-the-scenes stories from his time in the NFL.
