Sermon Notes: The Dominion Mandate Of The Woman Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Okronipa Main Scripture: Genesis 1:26-28, Genesis 2:18, Proverbs 31. I. The Co-Equal Mandate Genesis 1:27-28: God created man in His own image—male and female. He blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply... and have dominion." Dominion is Gender-Neutral: The authority to rule over the earth was not given to the man alone. Women carry the same "Dominion DNA" and creative capacity as men. Identity in Christ: A woman's value is first found in her creation in the image of God, not her marital status or societal role. II. Redefining the "Helper" (Ezer) The Hebrew Meaning of "Help Meet": The word Ezer used in Genesis 2:18 is the same word used to describe God as our "Helper" (Psalm 121:1-2). Not a Subordinate, but a Strength: A helper is not someone who is less capable; rather, they are someone who possesses the specific strength or resources that are currently missing. Strategic Partnership: The woman was created to bring completion and "surround" the man with wisdom, support, and spiritual insight to ensure the divine purpose is achieved. III. The Power of Influence and "Building" The Architect of the Home: "The wise woman builds her house" (Proverbs 14:1). Rev. Okronipa stresses that a woman's influence can either establish or dismantle a legacy. Spiritual Intuition: Women are often gifted with a unique spiritual sensitivity and discernment that is vital for protecting the family and the church from the enemy's tactics. Maternal Dominion: Dominion is expressed through nurturing, teaching, and shaping the next generation of leaders. IV. Overcoming Cultural and Religious Limitations Breaking the "Silence": The preacher addresses historical misinterpretations of scripture used to suppress women's voices, noting that in Christ, "there is neither male nor female" regarding spiritual inheritance (Galatians 3:28). The Deborah Anointing: Just as Deborah was a judge, prophetess, and mother in Israel, modern women are called to lead in professional, spiritual, and social spheres. Resisting Inferiority: A woman must refuse to see herself as "second-class." If God has called her to a task, He has authorized her to lead in it. V. Conclusion: Walking in Full Authority Fruitfulness: Women are called to be productive in their careers, businesses, and ministries. Multiplication: Taking what is small and making it great through the power of the Holy Spirit. Subduing: Taking authority over chaos and bringing the order of the Kingdom of God into every environment they enter. Closing Prayer/Declaration: "I declare that I am a woman of dominion. I am not an afterthought; I am a divine necessity. I walk in the authority given to me by God to build, to fruitify, and to rule. I break every limitation off my life and step into my full mandate in Jesus' name. Amen."

Today was the glorious finale of our weekend-long celebration in honor of all mothers at Grace Assembly. We were privileged to receive the ministration of Evangelist Tope Alabi, who led us into a realm of premium worship through her unique gift of song and the living Word. Beyond the music, she opened her heart to share her personal journey in marriage, providing a transparent and faith-filled roadmap for navigating the seasons of family life. It was more than a celebration; it was an atmosphere where we were built up, encouraged, and made whole in God's presence. Through the scriptures shared and the testimonies of her walk with God, Evangelist Tope Alabi reminded us that the strength of a mother and a wife is anchored in the depth of her worship. It was a celebration of grace, strength, sacrifice, and God's sustaining hand upon families. We honour and celebrate all mothers and mothers-to-be for their love, prayers, resilience, and impact. Happy Mother's Day from all of us at Grace Assembly! Confession: Lord, thank You for the gift and influence of mothers. Strengthen every mother and mother to be with grace, wisdom, joy, and peace, and let their lives continually reflect Your love and faithfulness.

Sermon Notes: The Practice of Love: The Power for Victory Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Okronipa Main Scripture Focus: Galatians 5:6, Mark 11:23-25, 1 Peter 3:8-12, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. I. Love: The Engine of Faith The Activation of Power: Faith is not a standalone force; it is "activated, energized, and expressed" through love. The Cause of Stagnation: If your confessions of Scripture are not producing results, check your love walk. Bitterness and unforgiveness act as spiritual blockades to miracles. Maturity Over Gifting: The greatest measurement of spiritual growth is not the intensity of your tongues or the accuracy of a prophecy, but the depth of your love for others. II. The Danger of Offense and the "Gates of Hell" The Trap of Offense: Satan often uses offense as leverage to fight against the church. When you decide to leave a church or stop serving because of an offense, you are falling into a demonic snare. A "Hospital" Mindset: The church is not a place for perfect people; it is a place for the "sick, weak, and offended" looking for healing. We must accommodate each other's frailties. Selfishness in Conflict: Most offenses in the body of Christ are rooted in self-centeredness—being more concerned with one's own feelings than the unity of the body. III. Love as Divine Protection The Power of Forgiveness: Forgiveness is a spiritual decision, not an emotion. When you forgive, you close the doors that allow the enemy access to your life. The Consequences of Bitterness: Bitterness can cause physical sickness and spiritual blindness, leading a person to "not know where they are going". The "Eyes of the Lord": According to 1 Peter 3, long life, "good days," and divine protection are promised to those who keep their tongues from evil and seek peace. IV. Practical Love in Action The sermon outlines specific traits of Agape love that believers must practice: Suffering Long: Enduring difficult people with patience. Being Kind: actively seeking the welfare and happiness of others. Not Boasting or Being Proud: Operating without a sense of superiority or "puffing yourself up" over others. Keeping No Record of Wrongs: refusing to hold on to past hurts or using them against someone later. Protecting Others: Covering a brother or sister in private rather than exposing their weaknesses. V. Conclusion: The Victorious Walk Everything Else May Fail: Prophecies, tongues, and specialized knowledge are temporary and may fail or cease, but love is eternal and never fails. The Final Goal: The believer's "great quest" should be to attain a state where they speak the truth in love and grow into the full stature of Christ. Sermon Declaration: “I refuse to live a powerless or disconnected life. I choose to make love my great quest. From today, I reposition my life so that my faith is energized by love, my prayers are answered, and I walk in the total victory of God.”

Sermon Title: THE PRACTICE OF LOVE Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Okronipa Scripture Focus: 1 Corinthians 14:1, 1 Corinthians 13:1-8, John 14:21-23, Galatians 5:6. I. The Priority of Soul Winning The Mark of Wisdom: "He that wins souls is wise" (Proverbs 11:30). Eternal Impact: earthly fame and wealth are temporary, but the impact made in heaven through soul winning lasts forever. A Call to Action: Believers should pray to become "ardent soul winners," asking God to use their lives to bring others to righteousness. II. Love: The Most Excellent Way Beyond Gifts: One can speak in tongues, prophesy, or work miracles, but without love, they are merely a "clanging cymbal". The Measurement of Maturity: Spiritual growth is not measured by the depth of one's tongues or the number of visions they see, but by the dimension of their love. The Nature of Agape: This is a supernatural love that allows a person to sacrifice for others—even strangers—without expecting anything in return. III. The Manifestation of God through Love The Conditional Presence: Jesus promises to manifest Himself to those who love Him and keep His commandments. Check the "Love Meter": If you are not experiencing the presence of God, examine the genuineness of your love for Him and others. The Danger of Hypocrisy: Many in the church "smile but don't love." True love requires being real and honest, rather than pretending. IV. The Practical Dangers of Not Walking in Love Hindered Faith: According to Galatians 5:6, "faith worketh by love." Without love, faith for healing or miracles cannot produce results. Physical Sickness: Unforgiveness and hatred (e.g., toward family members) can manifest as physical ailments like high blood pressure or heart conditions. Loss of Members: People often leave churches not because of a lack of miracles, but because they do not feel the love and compassion of the community. V. Practicing Love Daily Love is an intentional action, not just an emotion. It involves: Suffering Long: Enduring annoying people with patience. Being Kind: Looking for ways to help others even when it is inconvenient. Not Being Easily Provoked: Refusing to take offense or seek revenge. Thinking No Evil: Choosing to see the best in people rather than being constantly suspicious. Closing Challenge: Identify one "difficult person" in your life this week and intentionally show them the Agape love of God.

In this special 50th Celebration Service at IBTI, John Whyte reflects on the story of the disciples on the road to Emmaus. In a moment of confusion and grief, they walk a familiar path unaware that Jesus Himself is drawing near. This message invites us to consider how God may be present in the ordinary moments of our own journey, even when we don't immediately recognise Him.
Sermon Notes: THE PRIORITY OF LOVE: YOUR GREATEST PURSUIT Speaker: Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Okronipa Key Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 13:1-3, 1 Corinthians 14:1, Matthew 22:37-39, 1 John 4:7-8 I. The Core Mandate: Love as the Primary Pursuit The Greatest Quest: Love is not merely a spiritual option; it is the ultimate pursuit of the Christian life. The Supremacy of Love: While spiritual gifts like prophecy, tongues, and miracles are desirable, they are "nothing" and "meaningless" without the foundation of love. The Definition of Maturity: Spiritual growth is not measured by the intensity of one's spiritual gifts, but by one's capacity to love and forgive others. A Law of Necessity: Following Christ requires prioritizing love as a command, not a suggestion—loving God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself. II. The Purpose of Spiritual Power For the Body, Not the Individual: Spiritual gifts and anointing are given to serve and protect the "weaker" members of the church body, just as the most vulnerable parts of the human body are the most covered and cared for. Against Elitism: True spiritual power rejects social elitism; it does not favor the wealthy or educated over those who appear less prominent. Kingdom Value: Anointing is intended to bring deliverance and change to others, not to build a personal reputation as a "major prophet" or servant of God. III. The Dangers of Walking Without Love Pastor Okronipa identifies six grave dangers for those who neglect the walk of love: Faith Failure: Faith is "powered by love" (Galatians 5:6); if love is absent, your faith will stop working regardless of how many scriptures you confess. Hindered Prayers: Harboring offense or bitterness against anyone—including family or leadership—acts as a barrier that prevents God from answering your petitions. Disconnected Fellowship: Because "God is love," failing to love others means you are stepping out of alignment and fellowship with God's nature. Open Doors to the Enemy: Bitterness and unreleased anger provide a "foothold" for demonic oppression and spiritual instability. Zero Kingdom Profit: Even the most extreme sacrifices (like giving all your goods to the poor or giving your body to be burned) have "zero reward" if they are not rooted in love. Spiritual Blindness: Claiming to be in the "light" while hating a brother means you are actually walking in darkness and deception. IV. Practical Application Examine the "Heart-o-meter": Regularly check for hidden bitterness, jealousy, or envy that might be hindering your spiritual progress. Celebrate Others: Mature love celebrates the success, gifts, and strengths of others without the need for competition. Repent of Lovelessness: We must surrender ambitions and spiritual activities that are not rooted in the nature of Christ, which is love. Closing Thought: "To grow spiritually is to grow in God, and to grow in God is to grow in love, because God is love."

Sermon Notes: The Firstfruit Resurrection Preacher: Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Okronipa Scripture Focus: 1 Corinthians 15:20-23 I. Introduction: The Uniqueness of Christ's Resurrection The Definitive Event: The resurrection is the single event that sets Jesus Christ above every historical or religious figure. Fulfilled Prophecy: Unlike other leaders who died and remained in the grave, Jesus predicted His death and His return to life, bringing salvation to humanity. The Consummation of Promises: Jesus is the fulfillment of every promise God ever made to man; He is the "one single heart desire" and vision of God. II. The Scriptural Basis (1 Corinthians 15:20-23) The Firstfruit: Christ has risen from the dead and become the "firstfruits" of those who have fallen asleep (died in faith). The Two Adams: * Through one man (Adam), death entered the world. Through another man (Christ), the resurrection from the dead came to all. Life in Him: "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive." III. Finding Your Identity in the Word Moving Beyond Application: Many Christians have weak faith because they try to apply the Word to their lives rather than seeing themselves in the Word. Living Expressions: We are called to be "living expressions" of the Word of God—Word in motion and power in action. Subjective Understanding: We must lose our "objectivity" toward life and subject our understanding entirely to what God has said. Breaking Lineages: When you find yourself in the Scriptures, you are no longer a victim of generational curses or bloodline patterns; your bloodline is now defined by Christ. IV. The Threefold Revelation of Jesus To have strong faith, one must understand Jesus in three specific roles: The King: The sovereign ruler. The Savior (Messiah): The one who delivers. The Lamb of God: The sacrifice who takes away the sins of the entire world (including the media and unbelievers), not just Christians. V. The Reality of the Resurrection The Scrutiny: As a "Lamb without blemish," Jesus' life was questioned and scrutinized by man, yet He died sinless for the sake of sinners. The Victory in Hell: After His physical death, Jesus' soul entered Hell to defeat Satan and take the keys of death and Hades (Revelation 1:18). The Power of an Endless Life: * Other resurrections (like Lazarus) were returns to a mortal life that would eventually end again. Christ's resurrection introduced a "new kind of life"—Zoe, which is eternal, incorruptible, and undying. VI. Practical Application: Living the Resurrection Life No Fear of Death: Because Jesus holds the keys, a Christian should not fear death. It is not an end, but a transition to being present with the Lord. Authority Over Sickness and Poverty: Resurrection life (immortality) is at work in our spirits now. We can use this "on-diability" to combat cancer, diabetes, and lack, as these are expressions of mortality and decay. The Witness of the Spirit: Even though we did not see the empty tomb physically, the Holy Spirit reveals the truth of the resurrection to our hearts, creating a transformation more powerful than physical sight. Core Message: "Everything that is supposed to be the foundation of our faith and the foundation of our hope is already outlined in the Bible... our story has already been written."
