This is Draw the Line with jacki-e. In this show I'm presenting the awesome techno music being made by female producers and DJs. Helping me Draw The Line this week is my guest, Joely who comes from Los Angeles.. Joely's been DJ-ing for 4 years. She has dedicated this mix to a friend and co-founding partner of #NXT_Entertainment. Jarin Love decided this world was not for her and tragically ended her life in April, just 3 days after NXT Entertainment's first event. Two of the tracks are borrowed from that set as they remind Joely so much of Jarin, and they are the Victor Ruiz tracks. Like her name, Jarin was all love, a big part of the LA underground dance movement, very talented, hardworking and supportive of others. NXT plan to call attention to mental health awareness at their future events, in her memory and honour. The first one (Dame-Music 034) will be an EP by myself featuring a remix by one of my favorite producers. That's all I can so for now, let's keep the surprise! Q: We´ve heard there´s an upcoming tour in Asia and Australia the coming weeks. Tell us more about that! ​A: I'm always thankful with my job to travel the whole world. I'm more than happy to start the tour in South Korea, followed by China, then on to Thailand before finishing in Australia, where I will play at 3 different festivals. So far I think it's ​8 shows in four weeks across 2 continents. I'm really excited about this tour because I've never been to South Korea and Thailand and it's always a pleasure to discover new cultures & beautiful people.
