He then went from strength-to-strength, in the studio and DJ booth becoming renowned for his finely crafted productions blending classic house and techno sounds with his own modern and distinctive twist. This hasculminated in Jordan gracing the decks of the world's best venues and parties including fabric, Mint Leeds,Rex Club, Studio 80, Pacha, Space and Electric Pickle.This saw Jordan gain staunch support from the house and techno elite Carl Cox, Disclosure, Gerd Janson, Groove Armada, Jamie Jones, John Digweed, Kerri Chandler, Marco Carola, Maya Jane Coles, Patrick Topping and Seth Troxler. With releases on some of the world's most esteemed imprints Bass Culture, One Records, Morris Audio. Robsoul and Saved Records. All the while gaining attention from premier dance publication Mixmag with not one but two tune of the month titles. Just as things really began to lift off Jordan he was hit with complications from the lung disease cystic fibrosis which thankfully settled but during this period of his life it had a knock on effect impacting his mental health and eventually forcing him to put the brakes on his burgeoning artist career...During his enforced sabbatical, Jordan rediscovered his passion for martial arts, alongside starting therapy tohelp with his mental health battles. Today we premiere ‘Acid Love' an uplifting and nostalgic acid infused house track that pays homage to the days of acid house and rave, with tastefully chopped vocal samples and euphoric ravey build ups with a modern day twist. Today we showcase new music from Dublin based imprint Ten One Records as label boss Air Jackson collaborates with long-time label affiliate, Soul Campbell. We premiere ‘With You', an ethereal showcase of Irish rave nostalgia as the pair hone in on fluttering melodies, snappy breakbeat rhythms and lush pads for a romantic trip through dancefloor reminiscence. Dublin based label Ten One Records are back with their first release of the year as label co-founder Air Jackson collaborates with long-time long time Ten One Records artist Soul Campbell. The pair best known for their house music excursions, join forces to take things in a deeper and more melancholic direction as they showcase a two-track EP comprised of textured rhythms and floating soundscapes. Hailing from Dublin and Wicklow the pairing of Air Jackson & Soul Campbell seemed like a formality, having crossed musical paths on numerous occasions. The two artists have expertly identified the crossover between their widespread taste in music. ‘With You' showcases the pairs production range as they dip their toes in a simmering display of emotive atmospheres as the pair touch on inspiration from breaks, trance and ambient fields. The track has a nostalgic feel to it as it leaves whisper's of 90's rave culture while also lurking in the shadow's of seminal modern day productions from Bicep, Four Tet and more.
Today we premiere a track from Dublin native Air Jackson, as the producer releases his third EP of the summer season, entitled 'XTC / Sunshine' on his label Ten One Records. As a DJ and producer, he knows how to traverse genres, finding exciting, unpredictable links as he goes, which this EP is an example of. From house, to techno to breakbeat into DnB, Air Jackson roams free, but often ties his selections together with an all-important melody. "I'm genre-fluid," he says, "if I like it I'll make it." The emotions Air Jackson's melodies bring, whether hopeful and optimistic or tense and dark, are very much what define his signature sound. After a strong summer of festival performances including Life Festival, Beyond The Pale and the upcoming Electric Picnic, he is set to finish off this sunny season with an inspired EP featuring two uplifting summer hits 'XTC' and 'Sunshine', both of which have been heard far and wide across European dance floors this summer. In a short space of time Air Jackson has achieved a lot. His first release 'Orion' was championed by Pete Tong on his BBC Radio 1 Essential Selection in 2019, and he went on to tour extensively, along with launching his own Ten One Records, a label focused on music rich in melody. Last summer, Air Jackson served up 'Chemistry,' his debut album that showcased the breadth and depth of his sound which received multiple number 1s across many electronic charts. The creativity hasn't stopped as this summer we've seen him release three EPs, one entitled ‘Nebula / Dreams' and ‘Blow Ya Mind / Get Down' and now his latest ‘XTC / Sunshine' EP. These releases have received massive support from some of the biggest electronic artists around the globe including Maceo Plex, Luciano, Nicole Moudaber, John Digweed, Sasha, James Zabiela, Groove Armada, Marco Faraone, Darren Emerson and Glenn Morrison. The future's looking bright as Air Jackson solidifies himself as one of the most hard-working and exciting prospects coming out of Ireland right now. At the forefront of this scene is Yamen & EDA. Friends since childhood, the pair possess an almost telepathic understanding behind the decks and in the studio, a way of working that's brought them to the attention of some of contemporary house and techno's most renowned imprints and dancefloors. Having officially kicked off as a duo in 2011, Yamen & EDA's ascendency has been an impressive one. Theirs is a story however, that goes much further back. Raised on a solid musical diet of minimal house and techno, the pair's formative years were spent on the many dancefloors of the south of France, experiences that still inspire their music to this very day. Best friends and ardent musical lovers with a penchant for similar styles and techniques, it was only ever a matter of time before Yamen & EDA solidified their friendship through music. Quickly getting down to business in the studio, their inaugural releases hinted at great promise, eventually bringing them to the attention of One Records boss, Adam Shelton. Always keen to foster fledgling talent, Shelton has signed numerous Yamen & EDA releases to his imprint and even had the boys join him at One Records showcases in London at fabric, Sonar in Barcelona and at Below in Birmingham. The relationship is one that's since brought the pair to the attention of numerous other labels, with Earlydub and LAATE among those who've housed their talents. What's more, their music has been played along the way by some of the scene's foremost players, with Raresh, Petre Inspirescu and Apollonia all lending their support. 2018, however, is the year that Yamen & EDA are set to go it alone courtesy of their own Maison Mere label. A vinyl-only affair that kicked off recently courtesy of the auspicious ‘Retrospect' EP, the label promises to promote a wide range of contrasting electronic sounds. “A platform to collect and release music without any limits”, it's indicative of an altogether exciting new chapter in the already emphatic careers of Yamen & EDA. With further releases to come on John Dimas' always on-point Elephant Moon label as well as a return to One Records in the works, 2018 already looks set to be a defining year for one of France's most exciting duos. We premiere the track 'Róisín Dubh' from Dublin based DJ and producer Air Jackson, whose forthcoming 'Chemistry' LP is set to be released early next month [5th July 2021]. The Ten One Records label co-founder will release his debut LP next month with an immersive, genre-spanning album. Inspired by the many records that have helped influence his career, this debut LP ‘Chemistry' is an eclectic and a mesmerising mix of house, breaks, techno and drum and bass. Today we premiere the track Róisín Dubh from Air Jackson's huge 13 track LP. The pulsating rhythms and tonal depth on ‘Róisín Dubh' (meaning ‘Black Rose' in Gaelic) illuminates the second half of the album. This pure dance workout samples the voice of Ireland's mother of all things electronic, Róisín Murphy. SPECIAL GUEST BIO. - ROGER SANCHEZ: Just one in the cast of crucial producers who made Strictly Rhythm the premiere American house label during the early '90s, Roger Sanchez grew into a prolific remixer, world-class mainstream DJ, and top global-house name by the end of the decade. Though he concentrated more on mix albums than proper studio productions under his own name, Sanchez gained much respect with club kids as well as the dancefloor intelligentsia. Born in New York to parents of Dominican heritage, Sanchez attended Manhattan's School of Art & Design with several future hip-hop legends including Kurtis Mantronik. He was well into the graffiti and break-dancing scene during the early '80s and began DJing by the age of 13. After mixing for several years at New York hot spots like the Tunnel -- even while he was studying architecture at the Pratt Institute -- Sanchez finally left college in 1987 to give music a full-time shot. His club Ego Trip was soon booming (with Sanchez mixtapes selling briskly on Broadway) and he never looked back. By 1989, Gladys Pizarro from Strictly Rhythm Records had touched base to see if Sanchez was interested in production; one year later, he had recorded his first single, "Luv Dancin," as Underground Solution. The single's tough underground grooves charged the New York house scene, then just on the cusp of a turnover from the smooth garage sound to a rougher style influenced by European trance and techno. Despite stumbling into remixing by accident -- after giving a bad review to a single, he was tapped to rework it -- Sanchez became more than competent at the game, and beginning in 1991 he worked on tracks for Babyface, Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Janet Jackson, Chic, M People, Basia, Incognito, and Soul II Soul. Later Sanchez productions -- a 1994 Latin dub-house burner named "Sumba Lumba" (as Tribal Confusion), the following year's hard-hitting Strictly 4 the Underground EP (as Roger S), and that same year's "Release Yo Self" (as Transatlantic Soul) -- cemented his status as one of Strictly Rhythm's greatest assets and one of the world's leading mainstream producers. Though his own One Records collapsed in 1995, Sanchez formed another label named Narcotic and signed up with the British club Hard Times to release his first full-length. The mix LP Hard Times: The Album featured the S-Man (with just two decks, a mixer, and a crate of records) proving his worth as a DJ in addition to his much-hyped studio work. He continued in the mix-LP vein, releasing volumes in two high-profile series (Mixmag Live!, United DJ's of America), and the Freeze collection Roger S. Mega Mix. In 1997, Narcotic Records released "Back" (as S-Men), the fruits of the dance super-group formed by Sanchez, Junior Sanchez, and DJ Sneak. One year later, Sanchez released S-Man Classics, a two-disc collection including his best remixes backed with his best own productions. A few mix albums followed during the next three years, but a full production album, First Contact, finally dropped in 2001. Sanchez launched a new label in 2002 named Stealth -- home to his impressive rate of mixes, as well as re-releases and new productions from himself as well as other artists. The following year, he won a Grammy in the category of Best Remixed Recording for his remix of No Doubt's "Hella Good." Release Yourself, his long-running terrestrial and online radio show, won an International Dance Music award for Best Podcast. The show celebrated a decade of broadcasts when the mix effort Release Yourself: 10th Anniversary Edition dropped in 2011, the same year that Sanchez joined with the Far East Movement for the single "2gether." Ella & Louis è il titolo del primo dei tre album raccolti nel triplo Cd pubblicato dalla One Records: si tratta di tre album famosissimi, ma che è sempre un piacere riascoltare. A corredo la ristampa propone anche due duetti della Fitzgerald e di Armstrong durante un famoso concerto all'Hollywood Bowl, che comprendeva un ampio cast di musicisti, fra cui Art Tatum: quel concerto, tenutosi alla vigilia della registrazione di Ella & Louis, rappresentò la loro prima registrazione assieme per l'impresario Norman Granz. La Fitzgerald e Armstrong appartenevano a due generazioni diverse: quando negli anni trenta Ella muove i primi passi della sua carriera, Armstrong è già riconosciuto come un fuori classe: e prima di questi album le loro incisioni comuni sono poche. Per vari motivi che spieghiamo in questa puntata, l'operazione messa in piedi da Granz con Ella & Louis era complessa e non priva di rischi, ma tutto funzionò egregiamente, e l'album ebbe un eccellente risultato di vendite, tanto che Granz pensò rapidamente ad un bis, l'album Ella & Louis Again, inciso nel '57, a cui seguì poi l'interpretazione di Porgy & Bess, incisa a ruota sempre nel '57.
Hanfry Martinez recently dropped by the Egg London studio to spin some tracks live on air. Invited into the Lola ED agency in 2014, the French crew had had their eyes on DJ/producer Hanfry Martinez for some time. Hailing from sunny Tenerife, he started off his career in the underground electronic world as a resident DJ and promoter, before catching the ears of influential clubs around Europe and being invited to take charge of the decks at the likes of fabric London, Goa Madrid and Chalet Berlin. A highly promising talent, in 2013 Hanfry was nominated ‘Best Spanish Artist' and ‘Best Deep House DJ' by the industry-respected Vicious Magazine. And with a string of quality EPs like ‘Distraction Way' and ‘Hasta Luego' on Terence:Terry:'s La Vie En Rose, or ‘Vamos Mi Niño' with Javier Carballo on One Records, it's not hard to understand why. Having also released and remixed on Get Physical, Nordik Net, Esperanza, La Drumma, 1trax Readymade and Hot Creations, look out for his joint production alias with Justin Harris as House Of Warez, debuting on underground cult imprint ( djebali ) presents.

His skills behind the decks and his excellent productions have made of him an important piece of the european underground scene, and have led him to play in clubs like Fabric (London), Cable (London), crucifix lane (Cartulys Days), Fabrik (Goa Madrid), Milk (birmingham), Cafe d'Anvers (Belgium), Groove Maniacs (Lisbon), Loft (Gijon), Charada (Madrid), Venus New Rules (Malaga), Avantgarde (Madrid), Crucifix laine (London ) El Prat (Barcelona), Magma (Tenerife), Macarena (Barcelona ) bullitt Club (Munich) and many more. From 2008, he has given free reign to his creativity and he's been releasing his music in worldwide known labels like One Records, Readymade, Esperanza, Nordik Net, Brise, La Vie En Rouse, Drumma, Melisma, Polka, Waldliebe, etc. Right now, and along his partner in crime Javier Carballo, he's running his own imprint Overall Music, where they've been releasing music by local and international artists like Maya Jane Coles, Subb-an, Djebali, Kasper, Andrade, Jef K, Gavin Herlihy, Terence :Terry:, Adam Shelton, and more to come.

For Episode 27 we have brought in Jack Wickham. Jack’s style stems across House, Deep House and Deep Techno, consistently being influenced and imbued by other DJs, sounds and inspiration around him to create his own unique image. Carrying a mixture of deep musical passion, a collection of delicious music and an open minded perspective, Jack established himself within the music industry with releases on Catwash Records, One Records, Frole, Art of Dark and many more. Summer 2013 will see Jack travel to Ibiza for a residency at Sankeys and gigs across Europe with a brief visit to the east coast of America.
The Italian SLOK has been a pre-eminent force in electronic music for some time now. His discography also includes releases and remixes on high profile record labels like Get Physical Music, My Favorite Robot, One Records, Circle Music, Turbo, OM, Harthouse, Plastic Fantastic (Stereonova), Futic Tokyo and many more. SLOK currently runs his own imprint Electronic Petz, a structure created for supporting new enterprising electronic music. In March 2012 he debuted on Subb-An & Adam Shelton's One Records to a whole host of international support and glowing reviews alike.
