He first made his mark backwhen Pete Tong and DJMag tipped him as ‘one to watch'. He then went from strength-to-strength, in the studio and DJ booth becoming renowned for his finely crafted productions blending classic house and techno sounds with his own modern and distinctive twist. This hasculminated in Jordan gracing the decks of the world's best venues and parties including fabric, Mint Leeds,Rex Club, Studio 80, Pacha, Space and Electric Pickle.This saw Jordan gain staunch support from the house and techno elite Carl Cox, Disclosure, Gerd Janson, Groove Armada, Jamie Jones, John Digweed, Kerri Chandler, Marco Carola, Maya Jane Coles, Patrick Topping and Seth Troxler. With releases on some of the world's most esteemed imprints Bass Culture, One Records, Morris Audio. Robsoul and Saved Records. All the while gaining attention from premier dance publication Mixmag with not one but two tune of the month titles. Just as things really began to lift off Jordan he was hit with complications from the lung disease cystic fibrosis which thankfully settled but during this period of his life it had a knock on effect impacting his mental health and eventually forcing him to put the brakes on his burgeoning artist career...During his enforced sabbatical, Jordan rediscovered his passion for martial arts, alongside starting therapy tohelp with his mental health battles. After a few years off from music to address his physical and mental health, Jordan decided to start making music again and it was like a tap had been turned on and the creativeideas came flowing out again.With Jordan's passion reignited he sent some music across to Timmy P and Devstar's label Make You Move and in the summer of 2022 he released his smash ‘Less Drama, More Party EP' receiving support for severalmonths from BBC Radio 1 heavyweights Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Sarah Story.Now after a prolonged hiatus Jordan Peak is back with a renewed strength and determination to bring his inspiring crossover house and techno sound to the masses. Hello and welcome episode 47 of The DJ B-12 Deep Acid House Experience. I hope you are all doing well out there and I appreciate your support and listenership. This show is for the month of September 2023, and it is dedicated in memory of Ainsley Talbot, my 10-month 3-week-old kitten who passed on August 29, 2023. She had a terrible condition that left her disabled after she was about 2-3 months old. Although she was born normal with her surviving sister, Arianna and her brother, Jackson, it seems, her mother, Gracie (who was a stray cat I took in 3 weeks before they were born), contracted a virus while she was pregnant, which resulted in only Ainsley developing a condition that caused her cerebral cortex to not form properly. It started out with her motor skills diminishing and eventually led to her being only able to lay on her side and needing help doing everything. She was a true fighter, and she will always be my little hero and my best friend, but her broken little body just had enough. She was the most beautiful, precious, and loving soul I've ever known. As you can imagine, this was a bittersweet episode for me to do with losing her so young, which is one of the reasons it took me so long to get out, but I wanted to get a fresh mix out with new tunes that I could also dedicate to her. Although this set was worked out ahead of her passing, some of the tracks took on a special meaning because of lyrics and titles. RIP Ainsley girl.
