On this week's episode of 'The Sunday Show with Jonathan Capehart': Countdown to history. In just 100 days, voters will make their choice between two firsts: the country's first female commander in chief in Vice President Kamala Harris or its first felon president in Donald Trump. I'll discuss the high stakes and shifting landscape of this unprecedented election with DNC Chair Jaime Harrison and Washington Post editor at large Robert Kagan. Vice President Harris was only the second Black woman ever elected to the U.S. Senate. Two women hoping to join that history-making club join me today: Delaware Senate candidate, Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester and Maryland Senate Candidate, Angela Alsobrooks, Prince George's County Executive. Finally, my political panel and Aunt Gloria will weigh in on the racist and sexist attacks against Vice President Harris and other Republican nonsense. All that and more on “The Sunday Show with Jonathan Capehart.”

Delawareans it is time that we stop being pawns to Biden.  We cannot under estimate the impact Delaware has on politics across the country.  We are dealing with spiritual darkness in high places. They are looking to take this nation down.  Senator Lawson and others sponsored a bill that was shutdown by the Executive Committee of the Delaware Senate.  We are losing our freedoms and we need to be aware that we are becoming slaves. We all knew this moment was coming. Rudy Giuliani, Delaware Police, and an unnamed inside source have all confirmed that Hunter Biden's laptop contains several "suggestive photos" of underage girls, one of whom is apparently a relative of Hunter's. Acting like a creepy pedo toward younger family members apparently runs in the Biden family. The kicker? Joe Biden knew all about his son's disgusting proclivities and did NOTHING about it, according to text messages between Hunter and Joe that were published by Rudy Giuliani. If Joe Biden's foreign business dealings didn't disqualify him from being President before, these new allegations certainly do. The media's response? RUSSIA DID THIS!!! They're apparently less worried about the content of the laptop and more worried about the means by which the laptop was acquired, with some "analysts" speculating that it was provided by foreign intelligence. ...and yet no one is denying its authenticity, though they're continuing to double down on their crusade against Q Anon. Speaking of which, Delaware Senate candidate Lauren Witzke has also confirmed the presence of child pornography on Hunter's laptop. I've got the latest! Tom Carper has been in elected office since 1977. The last election in which he faced a primary challenger, he cruised to victory with 87.8% of the vote. A Bill Clinton-style moderate, Carper's corporate centrism is perfectly embodied by his recent vote for a bank regulation bill that enables racial discrimination and hurts homebuyers. Yet for four decades, progressives have been unable to hold him accountable for prioritizing the rich and powerful over the real Americans he's supposed to be representing. Kerri Evelyn Harris wants to change that. A 38-year-old biracial lesbian civil rights activist and veteran, Kerri is mounting a primary challenge to Carper from the left. Running on a progressive platform that prioritizes single-payer healthcare, economic justice, and civil rights. As co-founder of the Delaware Civil Rights Coalition, a member of the Delaware Human Relations Commission, and Air Force veteran, Kerri's record is a far cry from Carper's career politicking. Additionally, if elected, Kerri would be the first openly queer woman of color ever to serve in Congress. Kerri joined us on the podcast to discuss her insurgent candidacy, her intersectional justice platform, and her perspective on imperialist American foreign policy as a veteran.
