This Day in Legal History: WWI Spy ConvictedOn August 16, 1918, Lothar Witzke became the first German spy convicted by the United States during World War I. Tried by a military commission at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, Witzke was found guilty of espionage for his role in sabotage activities against the U.S., including his alleged involvement in the Black Tom explosion, a major act of sabotage in 1916. His conviction marked a significant moment in the U.S.'s efforts to counter German espionage during the war. Witzke was sentenced to hang, but his fate took a turn when President Woodrow Wilson commuted his sentence on May 27, 1920. The commutation reflected the complexities of wartime justice and international relations. Later, in 1922, President Calvin Coolidge granted Witzke a pardon, leading to his deportation to Berlin. Witzke's case highlighted the U.S. government's determination to crack down on espionage while also navigating the diplomatic and political nuances of post-war justice.India's legal market is cautiously opening to foreign law firms under new guidance allowing them to practice international law within the country. However, only a few firms have taken steps to establish a presence, as many remain hesitant due to past challenges and uncertainties about the implementation of these new rules. India's rapid economic growth and favorable business environment under Prime Minister Narendra Modi make it an attractive prospect for foreign firms, but the memory of previous failed attempts and local opposition leads many to adopt a wait-and-see approach. Some firms are opting for strategies like the "fly in, fly out" model, running operations from nearby locations like Singapore. Others, like Baker McKenzie and Dentons, are planning to establish offices when permitted, but are currently working through collaborations with local firms. Japan-based TNY Legal and GVA Professional have already entered the Indian market to support their clients' growing needs.Despite the opportunities, significant hurdles remain, including unclear regulations and potential resistance from the local bar. Implementing legislation is still required, and foreign firms face a complex bureaucracy. The possibility of limits on foreign registrations to protect Indian firms adds to the uncertainty, making the path forward for foreign law firms in India fraught with challenges. India Sees Foreign Law Firms Take Baby Steps to Set Up OutpostsTikTok is challenging a U.S. law requiring its parent company, China-based ByteDance, to sell its U.S. assets or face a ban, arguing that the U.S. Department of Justice has misrepresented the app's ties to China. TikTok maintains that its data and content moderation decisions for U.S. users are handled within the U.S. and that the law infringes on its free speech rights. The law, signed by President Biden, aims to end Chinese ownership of TikTok due to national security concerns. The case will be heard by a federal appeals court in September, just before the November presidential election.TikTok disputes US claims on China ties in court appeal | ReutersThe Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld California's vote-by-mail system, ruling that it does not violate the constitutional rights of in-person voters, even if some invalid mailed ballots are occasionally counted. The court rejected the claim that counting these ballots dilutes the votes of in-person voters, emphasizing that such errors do not disproportionately affect any particular group. The decision arose from a lawsuit aiming to decertify California's 2020 election results, which, if successful, could have favored Donald Trump. The court found that the plaintiffs' "vote dilution" theory was legally unfounded, consistent with rulings from other circuits.California Vote-By-Mail Upheld in Rebuke of ‘Vote Dilution' SuitGSK plans to seek the dismissal of a Zantac-related lawsuit in Florida, where plaintiffs allege the heartburn drug caused prostate cancer. This follows a recent Florida court ruling in GSK's favor, which excluded expert testimony linking ranitidine, Zantac's active ingredient, to prostate cancer. The ruling aligns with a 2022 federal court decision that dismissed similar cancer-related claims. However, a Delaware court ruling in June allowed over 70,000 lawsuits to proceed, permitting expert testimony that Zantac causes cancer. GSK is appealing the Delaware decision, as the majority of Zantac cases are concentrated there. Concerns over ranitidine's potential to degrade into the carcinogen NDMA led to the FDA pulling Zantac from the market five years ago.GSK to seek dismissal of Florida case against heartburn drug Zantac | ReutersBayer achieved a legal victory as a U.S. appeals court ruled that federal law shields the company from liability in a lawsuit claiming its Roundup weed killer causes cancer. The 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia decided that federal regulations, which require uniform pesticide labeling, preempted Pennsylvania state law from mandating a cancer warning on Roundup. This ruling came in response to a lawsuit by David Schaffner, a landscaper diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, who argued that Bayer's Monsanto unit failed to warn consumers about the cancer risk. The decision could lead to a U.S. Supreme Court review due to conflicting rulings from other federal appeals courts, potentially impacting Bayer's broader litigation risk. Bayer, which has settled much of the Roundup litigation for $10.9 billion but still faces tens of thousands of claims, welcomed the ruling, asserting that Roundup and its active ingredient glyphosate are safe.Bayer wins victory in US legal battle against Roundup cancer claims | ReutersThis week's closing theme is by Franz Schubert. This week's closing theme brings us to the world of Franz Schubert, a composer whose music bridges the Classical and Romantic eras with remarkable emotional depth and lyrical beauty. Schubert, born in Vienna in 1797, was a prolific composer despite his tragically short life, leaving behind a vast body of work that continues to resonate with audiences today. Among his numerous compositions, his Piano Quintet in A major, D. 667, known as the "Trout Quintet," and his symphonies are often celebrated, but today we focus on one of his masterpieces in chamber music: his Piano Quintet in F minor, Op. 15.The first movement, "Allegro con fuoco ma non troppo," showcases Schubert's unique ability to blend intensity with elegance. The title, which translates to "fast, with fire but not too much," perfectly encapsulates the movement's spirit. It opens with a passionate and fiery theme that immediately captures the listener's attention, setting the stage for a dynamic interplay between the piano and strings. As the movement progresses, Schubert masterfully balances this intensity with moments of lyrical beauty, creating a musical narrative that is both dramatic and profoundly moving. This piece exemplifies Schubert's gift for melody and his deep understanding of the human experience, qualities that have endeared his music to generations of listeners. As you listen to the "Allegro con fuoco ma non troppo," let yourself be carried by its sweeping phrases and the emotional journey it offers—a true testament to Schubert's genius.Without further ado, the first movement of Franz Schubert's Fantasie in C major, Op. 15, popularly known as the Wanderer Fantasy. On January 30, 1918, a young man “with the appearance of a well-educated, debonair foreigner” arrived at the U.S. customs station in Nogales, Arizona, located on the border with Mexico. After politely informing the customs inspector that he had come to complete his draft registration questionnaire and meet a friend in San Francisco, he was approved to cross the border into the United States. Lothar Witzke, the most dangerous German agent in the western hemisphere had reached his destination. His assignment: launch a campaign of sabotage, insurrection, and murder to destabilize the American home front. The terror campaign would be devastating - unless it could be stopped by U.S. counterintelligence. The Witzke mission was the intelligence game played at its highest level - a plan for destruction on a massive scale, violent insurrection, and assassination, complete with master spies and double agents, diabolical sabotage devices, secret codes, and invisible ink.To look at these forgotten elements of German sabotage and assassination plots in the United States during World War One is today's guest, Bill Mills, author of “ Agents of the Iron Cross.”

On this day in legal history, August 16, 1918, Lothar Witzke was convicted of espionage in the United States on behalf of Germany and became the first German spy convicted during World War I. Lothar Witzke was a junior officer in the German Imperial Navy during World War I, who became a spy and saboteur in the United States and Mexico. After escaping internment in Chile, he reached San Francisco in 1916 and began sabotage activities with another agent, Kurt Jahnke. They were involved in various missions, including suspected connections to significant explosions, though later investigations ruled out their involvement in some cases. Witzke was arrested in 1918 near the Mexican border, convicted, and sentenced to death, but his sentence was commuted to life imprisonment by President Woodrow Wilson. After an act of heroism in prison and diplomatic pressure from Germany, he was pardoned and released by President Calvin Coolidge in 1923. Upon his return to Germany, Witzke was decorated with the Iron Cross and later served in the Abwehr, or German military intelligence, during World War II. After the war, he became a member of the Hamburg Parliament, representing the German Party from 1949 to 1952.Donald Trump may have a 40 point lead ahead of DeSantis in the GOP primary, and Chris Christie may have overtaken the Florida governor in early New Hampshire polling, but among one demographic DeSantis seems to have the edge over all other Republican candidates–lawyers. According to a report by Bloomberg Law, Ron DeSantis has a significant advantage over Donald Trump in campaign donations from lawyers, leading with a 6-to-1 ratio. As of the end of June, DeSantis had received over $1.3 million from individual lawyer contributions, compared to just under $200,000 for Trump. DeSantis's background includes a Harvard Law School education and time as a U.S. Navy lawyer, while Trump has been known to criticize and even sue attorneys. Many larger law firms seem uncomfortable supporting Trump, contributing to DeSantis's advantage.DeSantis's fundraising from lawyers has also surpassed other GOP primary candidates, including former Governor Nikki Haley and Senator Tim Scott. His campaign haul includes significant contributions from elite law firms like Sullivan & Cromwell. DeSantis's support in Republican legal circles also includes several high-ranking Trump Justice Department officials and lawyers from Jones Day.While DeSantis leads in lawyer contributions, he still trails Trump by double digits in state and national polls. Some political analysts question whether DeSantis's momentum will continue, especially as his campaign has faced staff shakeups and strategy shifts. Meanwhile, Trump's campaign, powered by small-dollar donors, has raised over $50 million between January and June. Contributions from the legal industry have historically favored Democrats, with President Joe Biden out-raising DeSantis among lawyers so far this year with $1.5 million.DeSantis Crushes Trump in Cash from Lawyers Seeking AlternativeDavis Polk & Wardwell, a prominent law firm, has signed a 25-year lease extension to expand its Midtown headquarters in Manhattan, adding 30,000 square feet to its current space at 450 Lexington Ave. This deal increases the firm's footprint to 700,000 square feet, making it the largest commercial space leased in New York City in 2023, as announced by the building's landlord RXR Realty. The firm's managing partner, Neil Barr, emphasized that the expansion reflects the firm's growth strategy.Davis Polk has been proactive in moving back to in-office work after the pandemic and is requiring its lawyers and business services personnel to be in the office Monday through Thursday after Labor Day. The building, located near Grand Central Terminal, will undergo a $300 million renovation, including private outdoor terraces for Davis Polk and new gathering spaces. The firm's lease renewal comes amid a challenging time for Manhattan's commercial real estate market, with available office space reaching an all-time high in the second quarter of 2023. Financial and legal services have dominated the leasing transactions, with Davis Polk's lease being a significant highlight. Other law firms like Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, Paul Hastings, and Sheppard Mullin have also renewed or expanded their New York footprints this quarter.Davis Polk Inks Manhattan's Biggest Office Lease of 2023 (1)A Delaware judge has ruled that the fair value of Pivotal Software Inc.'s shares at the time of its 2019 go-private merger with VMWare Inc. was $14.83 per share. This ruling came in an appraisal suit brought by Pivotal's former investors, who argued that the shares should have been worth $20, while Pivotal sought a valuation closer to $12. Chancellor Kathaleen St. J. McCormick arrived at the fair value figure by averaging two valuation methods suggested by the parties. The court's decision also clarified that the deal price does not provide a cap on fair value, emphasizing the importance of strong procedural protections for minority stockholders.Ex-Pivotal Investors Lose $20 Share Valuation Bid in VMWare DealThe American Bar Association (ABA) is considering a new rule that may require law schools to adopt free speech policies. This change comes after several incidents where students disrupted controversial speakers on campuses. The ABA's Council of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar will consider a rule mandating "written policies that encourage and support the free expression of ideas." Schools would develop their own policies, but they must protect the rights of faculty, staff, and students to communicate controversial ideas and ensure robust debate. The proposed rule emphasizes that becoming an effective advocate requires learning civil discourse, even in disagreement, and that concerns about civility should not justify barring controversial discussions. While ABA's law school standards have covered academic freedom for faculty, this proposal would be the first to address free speech for the entire law school community.Prominent U.S. law schools have faced criticism for handling student protests against conservative speakers, leading to apologies and mandated free speech training at institutions like Stanford. Yale Law School also strengthened its commitment to free speech after disruptive incidents. The proposed rule would allow restrictions on unlawful expression, defamatory speech, threats, harassment, or unjustifiable invasions of privacy, and would enable reasonable regulation of the time and manner of expression. The council is set to vote on Friday on whether to send the proposed rule for public notice and comment, and further revisions are anticipated.ABA weighs new free speech rule for law schools | ReutersA federal appeals court has refused to revive a lawsuit by longtime umpire Angel Hernandez, who accused Major League Baseball (MLB) of racial discrimination. The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan rejected Hernandez's arguments in a 3-0 decision, stating that the league's promotion practices, including its failure to promote him to crew chief, did not reflect unfair treatment of minorities. Hernandez, an MLB umpire since 1993, claimed he had been discriminated against after being passed over for crew chief five times between 2011 and 2018. He also cited a "history of animosity" with Joe Torre, MLB's chief baseball officer at the time of the lawsuit. The court found that Hernandez failed to show a statistically significant disparity in promotion rates, despite a "bottom-line imbalance" between white and minority crew chiefs. It also rejected Hernandez's claim that the judge erred in accepting MLB's reasons for not promoting him, which included a missed call and an "overly confrontational style." The court upheld the March 2021 dismissal of the lawsuit, and lawyers for Hernandez did not immediately respond to requests for comment. In 2020, MLB named its first black and Hispanic crew chiefs born outside the United States.Major League Baseball umpire loses appeal of discrimination lawsuit | Reuters Get full access to Minimum Competence - Daily Legal News Podcast at www.minimumcomp.com/subscribe

Let's get into it: ARIZONA MIRROR:AZ Sen Kyrsten Sinema gets her first Republican challengerBY: JEROD MACDONALD-EVOY - APRIL 11, 2023 1:25 PMRepublican Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb is the first Republican to enter the 2024 contest, but is unlikely to be the last. Sinema, who won in 2018 as a Democrat but last year left the party to become an independent, has already drawn a challenge from Democratic Congressman U.S. Rep. Ruben Gallego of Phoenix.Mark Lamb was first elected sheriff of Pinal County in 2016, and since then has regularly appeared on far-right fringe media outlets.Lamb has partnered with groups like True the Vote that have pursued far-flung conspiracy theories of election fraud and lied to law enforcement. Lamb has also railed against vaccines, and is part of a right-wing group that call themselves the “constitutional sheriffs.” Led by former Graham County Arizona Sheriff Richard Mack, the Constitutional Sheriffs are a sovereign-citizen group that believes a “New World Order” is aiming to take away guns — and that sheriffs are on the frontlines of stopping “election fraud.” The group takes a favorable view of armed citizen militias, including militias that are active along Arizona's border with Mexico, and some whose leaders were at the Jan. 6 riot. Lamb is also a favorite of QAnon conspiracy theorists, signing a copy of a book for a QAnon influencer with the QAnon slogan “WWG1WGA.”Lamb has appeared on a number of QAnon-related shows, as well, including one with a history of antisemitic comments. TruNews has published antisemitic rhetoric on its site, including a piece in which founder Rick Wiles spent an hour and a half saying that “seditious Jews” were “orchestrating” to impeach Trump, and calling Jewish people “tyrants.” Wiles has also claimed that the anti-Christ will be a “homosexual Jew.” He was interviewed by Lauren Witzke and, during an episode in which Sheriff Lamb also appeared, Wiles said that Jews “squash” and “crush” people. Witzke is a conspiracy theorist and has echoed white nationalist beliefs herself. During an appearance on the white nationalist podcast No White Guilt, Witzke echoed the racist “great replacement” theory. Lamb supported Lauren Witzke when she ran for U.S. Senate in Delaware, and has also echoed the “great replacement” theory on another QAnon talk show.Lamb is likely to be joined by other GOP contenders in the Senate race, with Kari Lake and Blake Masters two of the most-watched. COLORADO NEWSLINE: Poll shows Lauren Boebert is in troubleBY: SARA WILSON - APRIL 11, 2023 1:19 PMIf the 2024 election were held today, 45% of voters would choose Democrat Adam Frisch, and 45% would choose Boebert, according to findings from a poll released Tuesday.Among voters who knew of both Adam Frisch and Lauren Boebert, Frisch led by 19 percentage points. The poll, conducted by progressive organizations ProgressNow Colorado and Global Strategy Group, surveyed 600 likely voters in Colorado's 3rd Congressional District and has a 4.4% margin of error.Among Republicans who described themselves as not very conservative, 60% back Boebert, 24% back Frisch and 16% are undecided. Pollsters said this shows an opportunity for Frisch to gain ground with moderate voters who may be disillusioned with Boebert's extreme politics and headline-grabbing antics.Boebert's unfavorable rating has grown in the past two years. In March 2021, 39% of respondents had an unfavorable view of her. Now, 50% of them do.The race was unexpectedly close in the 2022 midterms. with Boebert, the highly controversial conservative lawmaker, beating former Aspen City Councilman Adam Frisch by just 546 votes in the right-leaning district. The district encompasses the Western Slope and the southwest corner of the state, sweeping east to include Pueblo, Otero and Las Animas counties. After the most recent redistricting in 2022, the district favors Republicans by 9 percentage points.Frisch has already started his campaign for the seat in 2024 and raised $1.7 million in a strong start. That sets the stage for the race to receive national attention — and dollars — as Democrats view Boebert as vulnerable in a presidential election year with higher expected turnout. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has announced that it will target Boebert in 2024.COLORADO NEWSLINE: Denver Students Demand Action on gun violenceBY: LINDSEY TOOMER - APRIL 6, 2023 4:00 AM Student leaders across the Denver metro area want their voices to be heard, as they balance being high school students with pushing state lawmakers to take action on gun reform. Students Demand Action groups have formed at multiple high schools across the city amid increasing gun violence, particularly at Denver East High School. Hundreds of Denver-area students have marched to the Colorado Capitol to testify in favor of gun reform and press legislators on how they plan to keep students safe. This school year alone, East High has seen multiple gun-related incidents involving its students: A freshman at East was shot outside the neighboring Carla Madison Recreation Center. Student Luis Garcia died after he was shot in his car in the East parking lot. Student Austin Lyle shot two faculty members while he was being patted down for weapons, then fled and was later found dead, with a ghost gun next to his body. Gracie and Clara Taub, both sophomores at East High School, started a chapter of Students Demand Action last year and have watched it grow immensely, with about 90 people in the club now. Clara said that while the reason behind the club's growth is sad, it's powerful to bring together and amplify the student voice. Students Demand Action is a national initiative for high school and college students to advocate for gun violence prevention, with more than 600 groups formed since the 2018 school shooting in Parkland, Florida. The twin sisters have been advocating gun reform since the Parkland shooting, when they were in fifth grade and Gracie organized a walkout at their school. Now that they've seen gun violence harm their own community, they've led multiple student marches to the Capitol to talk to legislators and testify at bill hearings as co-presidents of Students Demand Action.Gracie said of her sister, “I'm really grateful to have someone by my side who's as passionate as me. We've been working together on everything our whole lives, so it was sort of natural that we did this together.”And it's not just students at East who are getting involved. Gracie said this year they've had students from five or six different schools joining them, along with teachers. The student leaders hope to have a Denver district-wide Students Demand Action meeting soon.Agnes Holena, a sophomore at Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village, found out about Students Demand Action through her role in her school's student Senate and started a chapter with two of her peers in November. She said the organization isn't about politics - it's about safety. “Since I've started going to such a big high school, shootings have been a genuine worry of mine,” Holena said. “When I leave my classroom to go get water during class, I always think about ‘Where will I go if somebody were to walk in,' and I just feel like that's not the way I should feel or any other students should feel and that this is something that needs to be talked about.”“When there's more people involved, people pay attention, and when there's more students, legislators see that these are kids,” Holena said. “It's different when there's a lot of adults coming together, but when it's the kids who are saying they're scared going to school, I think that really calls for attention.”For Agnes, engaging with the Legislature has been intimidating, but she's found herself prioritizing it because of the chance she might change just one lawmaker's mind. While some legislators have supported and encouraged Students Demand Action leaders to push their limits in their advocacy until change is made, Gracie thinks others too often make excuses for why they can't support certain gun-related bills or why a state bill to ban assault weapons isn't being prioritized. The Colorado Legislature has a strong Democratic majority, and four bills intended to curb gun violence have already passed both chambers this session. But to Clara, these bills are still “pretty basic gun sense.” She wants to see a state bill regulating ghost guns introduced this session. Clara said her generation is learning the flaws of the legislative process, and is taking notes on how they will change it when it's their turn to lead. COLORADO NEWSLINE: No train for oil!BY: CHASE WOODRUFF - APRIL 8, 2023 4:30 AMSome of Colorado's top Democratic elected officials issued their most united and forceful call yet to halt a planned Utah railway expansion, that would send up to five two-mile-long oil trains per day through sensitive mountain ecosystems. U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet and Rep. Joe Neguse joined state and local leaders on the banks of the Colorado River in Glenwood Canyon, just yards away from the tracks of the Union Pacific railroad that snakes through the canyon, alongside the river and Interstate 70. Not far away were areas burned by the 2020 Grizzly Creek Fire, and sections of the highway that were shut down for weeks by mudslides a year later.Glenwood Springs Mayor Jonathan Godes said “To say that this canyon is anything but an incredibly fragile place, to say that this river is anything but in crisis in the American West, is to ignore reality.” Colorado officials say they're alarmed by the risks to Glenwood Canyon and other vulnerable areas by the Uinta Basin Railway Project, an 88-mile railroad extension that would allow oil produced in Eastern Utah to be shipped to Gulf Coast refineries through Colorado's central mountain communities and the densely populated Front Range.Several key permits for the new railway have already been approved by President Joe Biden's administration, but Sen Bennet and Rep Neguse have called on at least four different federal agencies to conduct additional reviews before the project's financing is finalized and construction begins.Mountain communities worry about the threat of the Uinta Basin trains potentially derailing and spilling oil into sensitive watersheds, or sparking dangerous wildfires in Colorado forests that are increasingly at risk from climate change. Officials in Denver estimate that the Uinta Basin project could quadruple the number of rail cars with hazardous material traveling through the city every day.Colorado State House Speaker Julie McCluskie, state Sen. Dylan Roberts and state Rep. Elizabeth Velasquez, all Democrats who represent mountain communities along the rail route, also spoke in opposition to the project.Five environmental groups and the government of Eagle County Colorado are suing to block the project. As officials wrapped up their press conference beside a popular Colorado River boat ramp, Senator Bennet waved through three anglers who launched their boat and pushed off downriver. Sen. Bennet said that given the importance of the river to the Western Slope's economy and the risks posed by climate change, there aren't any safeguards that would make the risks of the Uinta Basin project acceptable.“This train has no business bringing this oil through Colorado, period.” Sen Bennet said. “Anybody who has spent serious time in this canyon understands what the risks really are — what these mudslides really look like, what these wildfires really look like here.”CONCERT PICK OF THE WEEK: The Gipsy Kings! Be sure to check out Witzke's co-hosting of TruNews with Milo Yiannopoulos, which is already underway and will run for the next week and a half, as well as a few of my own "kindred spirit" essays that are pertinent to our chat: “Pedophilia is progress,” “Life with a Rainbow Mafioso,” “No just peace,” “Societal sodomizing,” and “Magnify the Theotokos, not Satan.”
Frasor and Witzke tackle California as they try to steal information from private organizations, including yours truly. The boys deiliver an update on TX and LA Constitutional Carry, review the Benelli M4, and of course, which idiots across the internet are shooting blanks this week. Like, Subscribe, Comment and share today!
Join the boys as they discuss 2nd Amendment involved legislation in Colorado, Texas, and Louisiana, unbox and discuss the new gun in the office, and tear into David Chipman and the ridiculous excuses he made during his confirmation hearing, and why he MUST be stopped. Hold onto your butts and enjoy the show!
Episode 4 of ‘Tap-Rack-Bang! w/ Frasor and Witzke' is out now and ready to blow your freedom loving mind. The boys talk constitutional carry being stalled in Louisiana and Texas (and what you can do to force it through), discuss what firearms manufacturer they'd choose if they could only pick one, and of course, who across the internet is shooting blanks. They also provide an artistic take on a ghost gun “instructional video” that, well, you just have to see to believe.
Join Ryan Frasor and Tyler Witzke as they talk Biden's new "ghost gun" rule, Texas and Louisiana constitutional carry, and Liz Cheney being booted. The boys discuss Smith & Wesson M&P Shields, and of course, which dorks across the internet are shooting blanks. TRB welcomes special guest Taylor Rhodes, Executive Director of Rocky Mountain Gun Owners! It's about to go down.

This week, Ryan Frasor and Tyler Witzke talk Texas constitutional carry passing in the state senate, Sig P320 Review, and which anti-gun nerds across the internet are shooting blanks. Like, Subscribe, Comment and share today!
Join Frasor and Witzke during their inaugural episode. They discuss anti-gun politicians, how Texas could FINALLY becoming a constitutional carry state, Canik review, and roast anti-gun Twitter dorks.
During this last election cycle, Lauren Witzke ran for Senate against Chris Coons in Delaware and saw the political machine up close and personal. After seeing President Donald Trump overcome by voter fraud during the 2020 Election, which led the the crowning of the Alleged President Joe Biden, Lauren decided to launch the Hold the Line PAC. As she explains in this episode of Freedom One-On-One with Jeff Dornik, now is not the time for true conservatives to disengage from the battle.

Election reform is absolutely necessary if we're going to keep our constitutional republic intact. Former U.S. Senate candidate Lauren Witzke is pushing for reforms at the state and national level with Hold The Line PAC, a new organization that wants to prevent what happened in the 2020 election from ever happening again.

Stew Peters and Richard Leonard welcome Lauren Witzke with damning testimony claiming Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are responsible for the Capitol Police inciting the violence during the events of Jan 6. Congressman Paul Gosart will join PC Radio and warns that history could repeat itself. Colonel Buzz Patterson speaks on California politics and the removal of Gov Newsom. Project Veritas was banned from Twitter. They'll be here to discuss.

Mike is the Chair of the Estate Planning and Probate Practice Group and practices in numerous areas. He focuses on helping clients protect and transfer wealth efficiently, and he works with high net worth families, primarily business owners, physicians, and athletes. In this episode, Mike shares his thoughts on what growth means to him, and we discuss ways to stay focused on continual growth and self-improvement. Tune in today!Key Points From This Episode:How to stay focused on your personal growth by setting up systems and habits.Make growth a priority! Saying you don't have time indicates that it's not important to you.By defining what you are trying to accomplish, you can plan the time you set aside for growth.Growth isn't linear, but Mike says you have to set specific goals in order to maintain progress.Creating tangible milestones by breaking big goals into smaller parts and having an accountability partner.Mike comments on the benefits of having a mentor younger than you if you're over 45.The importance of seeking out different perspectives and being open to honest feedback. You need time with that feedback, says Mike, to allow it to percolate before taking what you need from it and taking action. How COVID has presented an opportunity to use your extra time to work on these things.Alex provides a recap of the episode, from carving time out and building habits to finding accountability and being open-minded.Mike shares the final part of the puzzle, which is also the first step: commit to doing it!Hear what Alex's call to action is this week: set aside some time, even 30 minutes.Mike Witzke LinkedInMike Witzke Email Alex Drost LinkedInConnection Builders LinkedInHave thoughts or comments? When Nic Witzke went cycling for the first time with his dad in Italy, something just clicked. Cycling provided him with a mental and physical challenge he thrived on. He specialized in hill climbing, a form of cycling that requires massive endurance and mental strength - skills he would unknowingly need later in life, when he received a diagnosis that shook him to his core. In my interview with Nic. he answers a fundamental question, how do you live when there’s nothing left to lose but everything is on the line?
Rick: "I have a very strong opinion about incumbents who either bail or refuse debates because they rely on registration numbers instead of facing voters. The event should go on anyway!" Mark Turley, Candidate for Delaware's U.S. Senate, is much more understanding. Here's the story: Chris Coons refused to debate Mark and Lauren Witzke at the League of Women Voters debate. That left Mark and Witzke. Then Witzke bailed just before the debate was to begin. That left Mark Turley. And then THIS happened....
She’s Running against incumbent Chris Coons ( Senator from Delaware who occupies Former Senator Joe Biden's Seat)

Joe Connor alerted Rick Jensen that a guy at a Witzke rally pulled out a gun and pointed it in the direction of Joe and others across the street from the rally. As WDEL News reported, that indivicual has been charged with 2 felonies. Joe insists that the state police report was not truthful as it stated, "... once troopers were notified of the incident, they responded to contact the suspect, but he had fled the area." Listen to what Joe has to say about it.
America is failing because of our lack of morality & faith in God, illegal immigration and the destruciton of the nuclear family. Lauren Witzke is running for Senate against Democrat Chris Coons in Delaware... we need more Senators like Lauren!
Welcome to Majority.FM's AM QUICKIE! Brought to you by justcoffee.coop TODAY'S HEADLINES: More details emerged about forced hysterectomies at a prison for immigrants in Georgia. At least seventeen women may have been subjected to the procedures by one doctor, though the full scope is yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, low-income students are giving up on college as a result of the pandemic. Experts fear a new lost generation in higher education. And lastly, there were some big wins for progressive candidates in Delaware this week. A social worker won an upset victory over a forty-year incumbent in the state senate. THESE ARE THE STORIES YOU NEED TO KNOW: Democrats demand hysterectomies investigation New information emerged yesterday regarding the unsettling account of forced hysterectomies at a for-profit immigration detention center in Ocilla, Georgia. Washington State Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal released a statement after meeting attorneys for the women who were subjected to the sterilization procedure. Jayapal said QUOTE It has become clear that the initial reports are likely part of a horrific pattern of conduct. There may be, at minimum, seventeen women who were subjected to unnecessary procedures from just one doctor, often without appropriate consent or knowledge, and with the clear intention of sterilization ENDQUOTE. Jayapal added that it's possible there are similar cases for individuals who were already deported. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also demanded an investigation yesterday, calling upon the Department of Homeland Security’s Inspector General to inquire into what she called QUOTE a staggering abuse of human rights ENDQUOTE. More than one hundred and sixty Democrats signed a letter demanding that the I.G. investigation begin immediately. In the meantime, other details about what has been happening at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility emerged from Jayapal’s preliminary Congressional investigation, which she pledged to continue. As Jayapal said: One woman, who was nearly deported, consulted the doctor simply about her menstrual cycle. She was put under for what she was told would be a simple procedure, only to wake up and find that the doctor had removed part of her reproductive organs without her knowledge or consent. Another woman, already deported, apparently went in to see the doctor for a simple condition related to diabetes and ended up having gynecological surgery. Two additional women apparently were shackled to the bed, reported to have had surgical procedures including a hysterectomy. The new details add substance to the whistleblower account we told you about yesterday. All information has so far come through attorneys for the women who have been victimized, but the public hasn’t yet heard from those women directly. Nor have we seen any documents or other evidence about the nature and scope of the procedures. It will take time to get all the answers, but we haven’t heard the last on this story, that’s for sure. Poorer students dropping college Across the country, low-income students are dropping out of college. Others are making the decision not to enroll at all. According to the Washington Post, some one hundred thousand fewer high school seniors completed financial aid applications this year. What’s more, an August survey by the US Census found that students from families annual with incomes under seventy five thousand dollars are nearly twice as likely to cancel all their plans to take classes this fall, compared to students from families with incomes over one hundred thousand dollars. And tuition deposits are down down eight point four percent among families making less than sixty thousand dollars a year. Enrollment trends so far show especially steep drops among Black students and rural white students. While some students are adapting to the situation by applying to lower-cost colleges, enrollment at community colleges seems to be hard hit. The drop in enrollment is unique to the pandemic, the Post says. During the 2008 Great Recession, college enrollment grew, as is typical during economic downturns. Bill DeBaun, data director for the National College Attainment Network, said the ultimate fear is this could be a lost generation of low-income students. A number of students told the Post they couldn’t justify the expense of full tuition in order to take online classes, without the benefits of college attendance such as access to a library and other facilities. Progressive upset in Delaware Political primary season is over. And there were some stunning results this week in Delaware’s state primary, which concluded on Tuesday. In the thirteenth district, social worker Marie Pinkney, a political newcomer running on a progressive platform, defeated the powerful and long-serving Senate President Pro Tem David McBride. According to the Associated Press, McBridge joined the Delaware state senate in 1980 and hadn’t faced a primary challenger since 1986. Pinkney advances to face Republican Alexander Homich in the general election. Pinkney was one of four Delaware candidates endorsed by the Working Families Party to win seats this week. The others were Larry Lambert in House District Seven, Eric Morrison in House District Twenty-Seven, Madinah Wilson-Anton in House District Twenty-Six, and Shané (SHAW-NEIGH) Darby for Wilmington City Council district two. All minus Morrison are people of color. There was another result worth mentioning: Lauren Witzke, another Q-Anon kook, won the US Senate Republican primary, and will challenge incumbent Democrat Chris Coons in November. According to the Daily Beast, Witzke has also endorsed the idea of Trump becoming a lifelong king of the United States, and said she believes that the earth is flat. Fortunately, Coons is favored. AND NOW FOR SOME QUICKER QUICKIES: Hurricane Sally, a storm that meterologists said seemed to come out of nowhere, slammed Florida and Alabama yesterday. It was downgraded to a tropical storm after making landfall, but it still brought massive and destructive flooding. Georgia and South Carolina are in line to be hit by the center of the storm today. Batten your hatches, folks. Attorney General Bill Barr last week suggested to federal prosecutors that they might charge some protesters with sedition – that is, the crime of conspiring to overthrow the US government. The Wall Street Journal first reported the news yesterday, as well as the fact that some federal prosecutors were taken aback by Barr’s suggestion. As well they should be! Michael Caputo, the Health and Human Services spokesman who posted an unhinged Facebook Live rant about left-wing insurrectioninsts in his department and called upon Trump supporters to stock up on ammunition, will be taking a leave of absence. According to the New York Times, Centers for Disease Control director Robert Redfield told a Senate panel yesterday that he was deeply saddened by Caputo’s comments and said his remarks about government scientists committing sedition were false and offensive. To say the least. Decolonization news: the country of Barbados announced it would remove England’s Queen Elizabeth the Second as its head of state. The move toward full sovereignty will take effect next November, when Barbados celebrates fifty-five years of independence. Per CBS News, both Buckingham Palace and the British Foreign Office said the matter is up to Barbados, which, historically speaking, is a big step forward for the Brits.
